Sept. 11, 2001, What really happen?

My military service included work in intelligence specializing in border defense and security. From what I learned, 9/11 could not have happened as portrayed by the Bush Administration. Granted, I served during the Vietnam Era and security measures undoubtedly changed when the Cold War ended. Nevertheless, the military budget remained the highest in the world, at least three times larger than Russia's, the next largest military. That U.S. defenses could be penetrated and circumvented as easily as they were, is unimaginable.

On 9/11, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Those are odds that are inconceivable. Meanwhile, everything went right for the perpetrators. On plane flew over the Pentagon, the most protected building in the world, without so much as a bullet, let alone a SAM missile, being fired at it. The nearest Air Force bases in Maryland and New Jersey, were inactive as if they were on standdown orders.

Finally, crack U.S. investigators had identified all 19 hijackers within 48 hours. How do they know there were not 20 or 21 or 30? Why have those crack investigators not yet solved the anthrax attacks or the outting of Valerie Plame?

We won't know exactly what happened until honest investigators with discovery powers and the ability to prosecute those who refuse to cooperate look into the case. Meanwhile, as in all investigations, motives, capabilities and opportunities must be studied to narrow down the list of possible perpetrators.

Hours or research and guidance from others, especially David Ray Griffin's book "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11," provide answers to all these questions. Recently, we have learned that there were at least 52 clear warnings before 9/11 that an attack was pending. The August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing from Condoleezza Rice was titled: "Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States."

The following scenario was the result of my research.

A Pakistani citizen, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, was the mastermind. He had been planning to blow up several international jumbojet flights. That plan was exposed when Filipino authorities discover computer records of the plans.

Mohammed then decided to blow up about 20 planes simultaneously inside the U.S. His plan was in the initial stages. He had four pilots trained but needed at least 16 more. His plan required several years of preparation.

The Bush Administration came into office bringing its own fanatics called the "Neo-Conservatives" or neocons. The neocons and several others, including some Democrats believed the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 provided the opportunity for the U.S. to control the world. Like Alexander the Great to Napoleon and Adolph Hitler, they became obsessed with the idea and were determined to let nothing stand in their way.

First they attempted to take economic control of the world using the World Trade Organization. That plan was exposed by protesters in the streets of Seattle in 1999. When George W. Bush got elected, a new avenue to world control opened up.

The neocons worked with the Pakistani ISI with whom the U.S. had cooperated and donated $4 billion during the Soviet-Afghanistan war in the 1980s. With the help of that money, an organization called al Qaeda was formed.

Now, neocons returned to the ISI which served as intermediary to Mohammed. Mohammed was urged to accelerate his plan using the four pilots he currently had. The Bush Administration would insure that the defensive systems in the immediate areas of the targets would be on standdown. It's not likely that Mohammed knew he had support all the way to the top of the Bush Administration.

Griffin claims the head of the ISI had secretly entered the U.S. a few days before 9/11 and left a couple days after the incident.

There are numerous other questions that can be answered only when inside cooperation is assumed. For instance, Griffin claims explosives were placed throughout the buildings which were detonated at opportune times guaranteeing the buildings would fall. Coincidentally, the security firm in charge of the WTC had connections with the Bush family. Most amazing is that Building 7, which was not hit by any planes, also collapsed.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor, wrote a book in the 1990s stating that control of the world would require control of the Middle East oil fields. Titled "The Grand Chessboard," Iraq was almost dead center in the strategy. The neocons undoubtedly were familiar with the book.

From the beginning, the protesters maintained the invasion was about oil. The Bush Administration claimed several reasons other than oil were behind the preemptive invasion. All those excuses proved to be fictional.

My prediction is that the whole scheme will be exposed and, like Richard Nixon, George Bush will not complete his second term. The conservatives will not hold Bush fully accountable for the deaths of 9/11. They will argue against any punishment. They will claim that living with the shame of the incident will hurt him more than an execution. The shame or the massive loss of life in America or Iraq haven't affected him so far. It's unlikely that full knowledge by the public will create a conscience in the man.
