Gorging and Sacrificing
Neo-Feudalism in the U.S.

Eastern Ohio is hilly with deep hollows cutting across it in a pattern resembling a comb when viewed from the air. Most of the hollows were carved by thousands of years of run-off rain water seeking and winding it’s way to the Ohio River. The geological history left few areas flat enough to accommodate baseball or football fields. Consequently, basketball became the default sport of preference. One native 1950s basketball star still holds the record for most points scored by a single player in college competition: 114 points.
I had my own basketball court, as did many other youngsters in the area. Unlike football and baseball, you could spend many solitary hours “shooting baskets”. After years of shooting baskets, I suddenly realized that I knew the instant the ball left the tip of my fingers whether or not I would score.
Logically, scoring in basketball is a one in one hundred possibility. The basket rim is parallel to the floor leaving a very narrow slit of opportunity to score. It’s like laying a paper target sheet flat and trying to hit the bulls-eye from straight on. Other variables include distance from the shooter to the basket. My eyes, located three inches apart, were able to triangulate the distance to the basket accurately, in a split second from several yards away. Then I had to calculate the exact arc for that distance and the precise muscle propulsion on a ball of that weight for it to travel that distance over that exact arc. In addition, a player could be moving or moving and jumping when the shot is made adding variables that logically would make scoring chances about one in one thousand.
Then, while the ball was beginning its upward arc, a recalculation was done confirming or denying the accuracy of the previous inputs and their executions. After years of practice, I was scoring about 50% of the time even while shooting jump shots. Apparently I, and several other basketball players, had developed sports super calculators in our heads. Everyone, we can assume, has that super calculator potential in his or her head. It’s just a matter of harnessing and exploiting it, I concluded.
In 1960, the U.S. Air Force sent me to the Far East. I arrived with a very low opinion of the humanity and intelligence of the natives. After a few weeks of interactions with them, I concluded that they were more thoughtful, considerate, humane, honest and intelligent than Americans are. In Vietnam, the U.S. military was killing Asians as if they were ants that had invaded a kitchen. My government shared my original attitude that Asians were inferior to us. No doubt that’s where I got that prejudice.
In 1970, the Ohio National Guard gunned down 13 students at Kent State University killing four. The majority of Ohio residents approved of the extra-judicial murders. Americans may trumpet their Bill of Rights and freedoms, but in the end, it’s security and order that they cherish most.
I had graduated from Kent State University a year earlier. My recollections of the anti-Vietnam War movement was a line of students and faculty standing silently shoulder to shoulder in front of the Reserve Officer Training Corps building. Many had signs castigating United States involvement in Southeast Asia. There was no indication of violent intentions.
Deep down inside, I realized that I could have been one of the victims of the shootings. If I had needed one more year to graduate because of work to earn tuition or some other delaying event, I could have been one of the dead or mutilated. It didn’t matter that I never joined the protests. Several of the victims were walking to or from classes. After several days of agonizing over the event that I thought could never happen in the U.S., I had an epiphany. That incident made me realize that my government considers its own people to be worth no more than ants. My government and most American people value property above people.
Gradually, my mind went through a reconfiguration. The beast brain that thrives on suspicion and brutality no longer dominated or cut off information to the cognitive sectors of my brain. I now had an entirely new outlook on the world. Just as I had realized that I had a super calculator in my brain that allowed me to shoot a basketball into small hoop with high accuracy, I also had activated an ethics super calculator that enabled me to see reality and truth, and suppress my self-centered, animal instincts. I had developed a humanity-centered nature. It seemed that just about every value and belief viewed through the ethical super calculator was the opposite of what I had been taught as a child.
The National Guard, politicians and media easily manipulated the self-centered primitive instincts of Ohioans and convinced them that unarmed students were a threat to their property, safety and order. Ohioans accepted, some even cheered, lethal action to confront or remove that imaginary threat. The entire nation was willing to commit hideous mass murders in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to remove a threat that any reasonable mind would conclude did not exist.
This nation is functioning on that part of the psyche that Sigmund Freud called the id. The super-ego, or the moral part of the psyche, has been suppressed. Recent studies of brain synaptic activity indicate that the super-ego is undeveloped when humans are born and remains immature until at least age 25. Based on the history since World War II of continuous brutal wars including torture and indiscriminate killing, we can conclude that the super-ego remains dormant in most Americans for their entire lives. My experiences of living in a foreign nation and witnessing the cruel side of my own government at home made it possible for me to question the id’s commands, suppress them and switc on the super-ego, or reason, for guidance.
The Iraq Wars provide an insight into the ethical status of U.S. citizens. In both cases, over 90% of Americans supported the wars even though elementary research would have shown that both were provoked, at least in part, by the U.S. Even absent that research, going to war, especially a non-defensive war, is a subhuman reaction. One million Iraqis died as the result of the First Gulf War and 1.3 million died as the result of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The total of 2.3 million means one of every 10 Iraqis were murdered due to U.S. invasions. That literally is decimation of the Iraqi population. Americans functioning at the humanity-centered level are outraged. Needless to say, that is a tiny percentage of Americans.
The Vietnam War is a broader example. The U.S. used the most hideous weapons known to mankind against nearly defenseless men, women, children and babies. It massacred over three million Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians and mutilated millions more. It prompted Martin Luther King to observe that “The greatest purveyor of violence in the world today is my own government.” Yet, most Americans continue to believe they should not be held accountable for the most evil military actions since the Second World War. Most Americans don’t know, refuse to accept or dispatch into denial, that it was criminal. There was no contrition on the part of the government after facts proved the U.S. had acted as a murderous aggressor.
Dr. King was able to overpower his beast brain and identify the evil in his own nation’s actions, when the vast majority of Americans could not. King was a humanity-centered man. Mohandas Gandhi and Nelson Mandela are two other well-known examples. All were harassed and arrested by their own governments and reviled by large segments of their own societies. Dr. King implied that most Americans are sociopathic savages. He and a handful of others were able to rise above the stampede urges of mob frenzy counseled by the beast brain, and identify the Vietnam War as the atrocity it was. King was not making an original observation. Over a century earlier, Frederick Douglas, in a 4th of July speech in Rochester, New York, stated that: “. . . for revolting barbarity and shameless hypocrisy, America remains without a rival.”
In spite of all of the social, political, subconscious and natural pressures to conform to the herd and tribe actions and customs, people like Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Jesus and Buddha emerge. They face overwhelming scorn and abuse from their peers, but remain resolute and determined. In the end, they are proved right and the herd wrong. They tapped into the power buried deep in their brains and harnessed it just as the accomplished basketball player does.

Predispositions

Linguistics professor Noam Chomsky demonstrated that the mind of an infant and child is predisposed to absorb languages. Their minds also have a predisposition for grammar. A child first leaning a language tries to put the subject first and the predicate last as Japanese and German languages do. Learning should be easier if we accommodated those predispositions as Brazilian-born educator Paulo Freire believes.
Other predispositions exist for survival. Fear is the biggest. It can be used to warn us of dangers, or it can be used to manipulate us to act criminally and against our best interests.
There is a moral predisposition. Clinical brain MRIs have identified increased activity in the right side of the brain when moral issues are presented. However, it seems that a minor moral position will meet the entire morality need in children and most adults. For example, the need can be met by taking an anti-choice position on abortions. That requires no sacrifice from, or cost to, most of the proponents of that position. Those same people are willing to cut off Welfare benefits to that same fetus when it becomes a child and starve it to death.
Another predisposition is faith. Primitive man faced many threats that were unexplainable such as weather, night and day and winter-summer cycles. There’s a strong desire to explain the causes of fears in order to deal with them. They created gods as explanations for the unknown. Greeks believed thunder was the gods bowling. Then all that was necessary was to please the gods so they would protect people from lightening, pestilence, floods, etc.
Faith is deeply ingrained in humans as the result. Faith is the biggest obstacle to advanced political and economic systems. The beast brain advises having faith in a monarchy, plutocracy, aristocracy or other oppressor-oppressed Feudal system rather than in someone selected by vote to lead. A charge against President Clinton was that he held up a finger to determine which way the popular wind was blowing and led in that direction. President Reagan, on the other hand, was decisive, they argued, and led in whatever direction he decided to take. In a democracy, the politicians lead in whatever direction the people want to go. When the leader goes in any direction he chooses, that is totalitarianism. Democracy is alien and fearful to those who admired President Reagan.
The beast brain also demands that economic decisions be made by faith rather than at the polling booth. Capitalism and its gear box “the silent hand of the marketplace” fits that demand nicely. Industrialization made corporations feasible for most economic aspects of life. That was not possible in pre-industrial agrarian societies. Corporations have expanded their control over, not only the economy, but politics, information, entertainment and nearly every other aspect of life. Corporations have become the new nobles and lords, the new oppressors as historian Richard Grossman has detailed so well in his book “Taking Care of Business.”
Where will corporation growth end? The World Trade Organization envisions transnational corporations ruling the world. Walter Wristen, former CEO of Citicorp, wrote “The Twilight of Sovereignty” describing a world ruled by corporations overruling popular wishes when profits are jeopardized.

The Supreme Predisposition

The most critical predisposition is a craving for a Feudal economic and political structure. The powerful beast brain instinct was necessary for survival during all but the most recent millennia of human existence. About 30,000 years ago, humans began developing cognitive powers in their brains. The brains increased in size. However, the beast brain remained the gatekeeper for information fed to it by the senses. It also could produce cortisol, dopamine and other chemicals to hinder and confuse cognitive functions. The result is a brain capable of devising hideous weapons and functioning at an animal moral level. Fear is the easiest way to induce beast brain behavior.
Hermann Goering, Nazi minister of aviation Under Adolph Hitler, testified after World War II that fear is the key to convincing people to behave like Nazis. Goering stated that the maximum fear could be accomplished by telling people they are in great danger from an external enemy and from traitors in their midst. This creates a “cornered rat” scenario. In Germany’s case, the external enemies were alleged to be Great British and Poland collaborating to encircle then attack Germany. Internally, NAZIs blamed Communists for acts of sabotage. Most prominent was an attempt to burn down the Reichstag. Fear sends alarms to our beast brain, the heart of the id. In a haste to respond to the danger, it blocks information from going to the cognitive sectors of the brain where the ego and super-ego can form decisions based on reason and logic.
After the Second World War ended, several psychologists conducted clinical studies to try and explain the barbaric, brutal behavior of the nations involved. Both conservatives and liberals agree with psychological studies concluding that at least 75% of people are deceived easily. If deception doesn’t work, peer pressure can bring most of the rest into line. John Dean, with the collaboration of Barry Goldwater until his death, summarized many of these studies in his book titled: “Conservatives without Conscience”. Those studies were done in part to determine how so many Germans could have behaved as brutally and savagely as they did in World War II. The conclusion was that most American also were capable of that behavior. U.S. leaders quietly shelved the conclusions. The Second Iraq War proved Americans still are capable of hideous cruelty and brutality.
This Goering scenario played out on Sept. 11, 2001 in the U.S. Foreign enemies attacked the World Trade Center. A few days later internal suspects carried out anthrax attacks. Paranoia swept the nation. Most Americans reacted just as Germans did in the 1930s. Americans demanded retaliation, agreed to have their rights revoked, allowed their government to spy on them and their neighbors, submitted to executive usurpation of power and accepted violations of the International Declaration of Human Rights including torture, endless detentions, extra-judicial executions and widespread use of weapons of mass destruction.
The outrage at the loss of life on Sep. 11, 2001 was not some heartfelt, empathetic grief for the lives of the victims. Actually only 2,006 of the victims were American citizens. The outrage was the vicarious emotional reaction to the horrible deaths of people who were so similar and geographically close to Americans. When over 7,000 U.S. soldiers died in the retaliations to the act, there was little grief and no outrage. Loss of life matters to the beast brain only if it relates closely to that life.

FEAR, THE IDEAL INSTRUMENT OF CONTROL

Paranoia can lead to insanity. During the Cold War, the U.S. had a strategy called Mutually Assured Destruction with the appropriate acronym MAD. This Machiavellian plan threatened to incinerate and radiate every living thing on earth. The U.S. was prepared to destroy itself and everyone and everything else if anyone obstructed the U.S. way of life and goals. Fortunately, the main “enemy” was the Soviet Union which never put a madman like Ronald Reagan in the top leadership role. Also, atheists have more reason to continue in this life as long as possible than religious zealots who expect to move on to a better world in the afterlife. Some religious zealots are eager to accelerate the time of that passage.
Paulo Freire’s research led him to conclude that societies break down into oppressors and oppressed (Pedagogy of Oppression). What amazed him was that the oppressed didn’t want to end oppression. They hoped to become a member of the tiny oppressor class. In the meantime, the oppressed envied their oppressors and tried to imitate them. This is logical behavior compatible to beast brain behaviors.
After the Moors were expelled from Spain in the 15th Century, returning Spanish rulers claimed there were biological differences between the nobility and peasantry. Nobles had blue blood in their veins. Peasants’ blood was red. Blue veins were visible through the light skinned nobility. Peasant veins were not visible through their dark Moorish skin. When they bled, it was red. The blue-blood myth endured for centuries even though many had witnessed red blood oozing from an injured noble.
The terms gorging and sacrificing could substitute for Freire’s oppressor and oppressed dichotomy. That would help explain some beast brain behaviors and beliefs. Gorging is a common instinct in the insect and animal worlds. The queen ant and wasp are gorged with food until they are much larger than the rest of the colony. The quedn produces all the eggs for her colony.
Alpha male and female wolves eat until they are gorged. After both are stuffed, the rest of the pack squabbles over the remains. When there is insufficient food for the rest of the pack, they blame the weak and under-performers, not the gorgers, for insufficient or scarcity of food. This insures survival of at least some of the pack when times are lean and conforms to Darwin’s primary law of nature: “Preservation and perpetuation of the species.”
The wolf behavior can be found among beast brain people and is most common in Capitalist nations. The wealthy are allowed to take as much as they can get. Poor and Welfare people are demonized as jeopardizing the survival of the herd or tribe by consuming the small amounts they take.
The gorging and sacrificing instincts explain the curious behavior of lower income, asset-deprived people defending exorbitant wealth in the hands of a few other members of their community. It also explains why community members will accept the absurd argument that traveling to the other side of the world to kill people and risk death could contribute to the survival of the herd. Ultimately, a Feudal society emerges. It will have a few privileged lords and masses of vassals, a few nobles and many peasants, a few oppressors and many oppressed members. The United States is on the brink of Feudalism today. The corporations serve as the lords and nobles. The underclasses are the vassals, serfs and slaves. This structure feels right to beast brains, and they don’t challenge the appropriation of their rights, freedoms and property by the corporations.

PRESERVING THE BEAST BRAIN MENTALITY

The Feudal structure requires the fear instinct to nurture and preserve the beast brain. With most natural threats to lives and well-being eliminated, the fear instinct diminishes. Now it’s necessary for the oppressors to invent fears. The U.S. does that by creating an atmosphere that’s conducive to a high level of crime, drug-addled hippies and menacing dark-skinned people at home and ruthless dictators abroad. That’s covered with an icing of cultural tension.
Natural fear reactions generally fall into two “F” word phrases: “identification friend or foe,” and “fight or flight.” The beast brain constantly surveys its surroundings for threats. It searches microscopically and macroscopically.
Microscopically, the beast brain feels threatened by the slightest changes from the norm. The beast brain can become obsessed with the miniscule and insignificant. If it’s at high fear levels as exists in the U.S., it’s constantly looking for outlets to relieve the fear pressure. When the Beatles came to America in the 1960s with hair down over their ears, the beast brain became alarmed. When President Kennedy didn’t wear a hat outdoors, that was seen as a threat to social order. The beast brains were outraged at fondling incidents by President Clinton. They were certain that behavior by the top leader would rock the foundations of the nation. They didn’t object to spending $60 million of their tax dollars to impeach Clinton even though conviction and removal from office was nearly impossible. They forgive infidelity, adultery, marriage vow violations, ethics violations and deception by Newt Gingrich. Many of these microscopic minds are willing to put him in the highest political office in the nation.
There also seems to be a big bad wolf syndrome. Beast brains can see monsters where none exist. The beast brain is eager to discover an alleged threat such as Manuel Noriega or Saddam Hussein, when logically there is none. It becomes a convenient outlet for pent-up fear, and consequently, an increased eagerness to accept its existence.
When a large threat is or seems imminent, the beast brain searches for like-minded, like-attired people to form a defensive herd. Then that herd attacks of flees depending on how the situation is assessed.
In the mid-1990s, several conservative Americans viewed the fall of the Soviet Union as an opportunity to reorder the world. The best way to do that, they claimed, was to exploit the pandemonium of a crisis or catastrophe. “A new Pearl Harbor” would be the ideal catastrophe. It would “galvanize” the American people into a frightened herd that could be stampeded in any direction, they believed. Neo-Conservatives and their organization, Project for a New American Century, were the leading advocates of these ideas. Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor under President Carter, advocated a similar strategy also wishing for a “new Pear Harbor” in his book The Grand Chessboard (1997).
The instincts to survive in this world by any means available conform to Darwin’s ultimate rule of nature: preservation and perpetuation of the species. The religious message often is contrary to those natural instincts, creating confusion in the minds of spiritual people. This adds to paranoia and cognitive dissonance, or mixed signals about how to live one’s life. These people are more receptive to manipulation since they have no one certain answer to the issues facing them. They default to one answer for themselves and the opposite answer for others. To paraphrase Jesus, they can see the splinters in the eyes of others but can’t see the logs in their own eyes. In frustration, they tend to settle for a charismatic individual or class of people to tell them what to do. They become dependent on royalty or a noble class to lead them until their survival is intertwined with the survival of the royalty and nobility. The lives of the lower classes become disposable and expendable, while those of the upper class are deemed critical to survival of the herd or tribe.

RECONFIGURING THE BEAST BRAIN

Using the second Gulf War as a recent baseline of measure, we can estimate how many American minds are dominated by their beast brain. In the lead up to the Second Gulf War, the George W. Bush Administration implied that Iraq had the ability and desire to invade the U.S. and detonate a nuclear weapon. Considering that Iraq is the size of California geographically and about two-thirds it’s size in population, any invasion of the U.S. is inconceivable to a rational mind. They also claimed Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) and was barbaric enough to use them. Two United Nations inspection teams on the ground in Iraq could not find any WMDs. A person willing to do a little research could figure out that the U.S. commonly uses WMDs in its numerous wars. A fear-confused mind couldn’t see the contradiction. Those minds numbered between 90 and 92% of Americans.
From my experience, it takes five to ten years to reconfigure a mind from self-centered to humanity-centered. One or two shocking experiences to one’s beliefs are helpful. Americans have been subjected to a century of the world’s most sophisticated propaganda. In 1913, after a decade of government litigation by two Republican presidents against predatory, corrupt corporations and robber barons, the business community was determined that it never again would be held accountable for its crimes. Corporations poured hundreds of billions of dollars into the coffers of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Chamber of Commerce, Business Roundtable, hundreds of Think Tanks and several public relations firms. In turn, they set out to saturate Americans with the message that private enterprise represents everything good and noble about America, and trade unions and governments are threats to American values, traditions and freedoms. NAM had incorporated Freud’s psychoanalysis revelations into its “public relations” programs. It was confident it could convince most people that laisser faires capitalism is the best economic system.
NAM and friends have been extremely successful. The Australian Sociologist and Psychologist Alex Carey, considered the world’s leading expert on propaganda, concluded from his exhaustive studies that Americans are the most brain-washed people in the industrialized world.
To change America from the world’s greatest purveyor of violence and land of revolting barbarity and shameless violence will be a major undertaking. To change Americans from the most brainwashed inhabitants of the industrialized world to enlightened citizens of the world who are immune to manipulation can not be accomplished over night. Not only are there millions of years of insect instincts and animal natures to overcome, but the world’s most well-funded, sophisticated propaganda system must be confronted and exposed.
If one-third of Americans were functioning at the humanity-centered level, that should be enough to civilize the United States and suppress its European mean genes and violent urges. That core could expose the propaganda. Teaching and guiding two people each could bring about enlightened, rational change.
A very small percentage of humans can score points in basketball with high accuracy. An equally small percentage of humans surmount their animal natures and become morally righteous. That is done with years of practice guiding the brain away from impulsive reactions. Intensive questioning and rigorous research of every major change is critical to becoming altruistic, empathetic and righteous and breaking away from the animal natures. All normal people have the potential to reach this state. The one caveat is the latest brain scan studies indicate that the conscience sector of the brain doesn’t mature fully until after age 25. At least five experience and training years are needed to reach the righteous human being level. Those years can begin before age 25. Beast brain people are raising children and instilling their moral perversions and confusions in them. That means they reach adulthood already corrupted and confused.

OWS issues and goals?

-The militarization of local law enforcement.
-Privatization of municipal services ranging from law enforcement to water and prisons. The main goal here is to drive down wages of those who do the actual work.
-All services and goods that are critical to our lives should be overseen by people we elect and can remove from power. Private leadership requires mindless, blind faith to people who often are not inclined to do first what is best for society and humanity.
-Empowering transnational corporations which are often immune to local laws and, by threatening to move or modify their business, can coerce local governments into granting concessions such as tax breaks and eminent domain. Ultimately, transnational and interstate corporations should be abolished.
-Embargo all goods and services produced or provided by employees paid less than the U.S. minimum wage. Otherwise, we are indirectly supporting slavery and worker abuse.
-Excessive remuneration to persons such as executives, actors or athletes. Should we enact a maximum wage up to 10 times the remuneration of the lowest paid employee in the business or corporation? Currently, some executives are paid as if they do the work of nearly 500 people.
-The fitness to serve of those in government who approved or consented, including inaction, to the bailouts of banks, investment firms and insurance companies in 2008. They have surrendered the right to represent us. Nations, such as Iceland, nationalized those institutions with great success.
-War-making powers of those in government, it’s agencies, contractors or proxies. Our government has demonstrated repeatedly that it lacks the moral and intellectual sophistication to be trusted with those powers. Should all wars be put to a popular vote except to repel invaders already on our land?
-The more greed and gluttony there is, the more it demands to be fed. Studies in Prince George’s County, Md., show that the rich never reach a wealth satisfaction level.
-Our current economic crises indicate that high compensation is not attracting high competency. It is attracting high corruption. Should we enact maximum remuneration laws, so that those with morals and principles could be considered for those jobs?

Globalization vs Freedom

We are facing nothing less than a grab for control of the world. The first attempt was in Seattle in 1999.
The World Trade Organization was to be the legal contract for a Neo-Feudal world made up of a transnational corporation nobility that would be unaccountable and privileged. The lower classes would become valueless, disposable peasants and serfs.
Just as nearly 7,000 American soldiers were sacrificed senselessly in Iraq and Afghanistan and tens of thousands more mutilated with as much concern as for chickens in a Tyson’s slaughter house, Globalization will comb the world searching for those most desperate to produce goods and services for the privileged class.
Globalization has been in the planning stages since 1972, with the Uruguay Round of the WTO. In the U.S., Continuity of Government under Cheney & Rumsfeld began making plans for "state of emergency" provisions in case of a major U.S. crisis (real or imagined). The PATRIOT Act was a sampling of their work.
Milton Friedman, and others of his ilk, advised that there is “opportunity in crises.” The Iraq & Afghanistan wars provided cover for the creation of private security companies: 26 by the U.S., 10 by the U.K. One of them, Blackwater (now Xe), got a trial run in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. As hoped, there was no outrage from citizens or media. Americans are ready for a private, Praetorian Guard.
The 2010 election results were interpreted as the American people reaching an intellectual low. At a Republican convention, leaders announced that the time is right to implement privatization of all public institutions & resources. Wisconsin’s oblivious governor took the lead. He slammed into the American Awakening.

Milo Minderbinder lives on

As I was viewing today’s news and economic crises, the name Milo Minderbinder came to mind. Milo was a character in Joseph Heller’s fictional, satirical novel Catch 22. Milo was the supply officer for a B-24 Squadron in World War II. He ran a side business called M&M Enterprises. Milo reasoned that profits were the highest goal of a society, and that the war was being fought to preserve, first of all, that ideal. M&M hired employees from both sides of the war and sold supplies to both sides. If he made a profit, it was justified in his mind. Milo often used military bombers to transport his goods.
This is the 50th anniversary of the publication of Catch 22. To me, Catch 22 was about madness. Each character, each bureaucratic entity and each nation had its own form of madness.
To understand today’s problems, it helps to apply the madness magnifying glass. One example is the economic collapse of 2008. Most of the laws controlling Financial and Investment firms had been removed or ameliorated after a long campaign by Ronald Reagan and the Chamber of Commerce assuring us that the old Robber Baron corporations now were enlightened and would act honestly and in the public interest on their own.
Only a madman could believe that people driven by greed can act altruistically. The market collapse and Savings and Loan Scandals beginning in 1987 should have been a tip off, but both parties continued the deregulation folly.
Just as Milo Minderbinder’s looney world spun out of his control and left him with warehouses full of goods such as Egyptian Cotton with no markets, modern day Milos, arrogantly calling themselves “Masters of the Universe” discovered that mastering a local economy was beyond their abilities.
Not to worry, they had an abundance of madmen willing to come to their aid. Our politicians decided the thieving “Masters” were more deserving than the victims of their scams.

The Intra-Nazi War

World War II actually was a war between Nazi nations. There were the Teutonic Nazis on one side, led by Germany and Italy, and the Anglo Nazis on the other side led by Great Britain and France and later the U.S. American industrialists from Henry Ford to Prescott Bush leaned toward the German side and gave material help to Hitler. Many more Americans, including many of my uncles, gave moral support. Others planned to replace the U.S. Government with Nazism, and made plans to kill FDR and/or overthrow his government.

The U.S. was forced into the war on the Anglo side when Hitler declared war on it in 1941 as the result of his treaties with Imperial Japan. FDR likely was an Anglo Nazi.

The U.S. spent decades trying to create the illusion that it was different and morally better than Nazi Germany. It integrated the military in 1947. It allowed Asians to vote for the first time in 1948. In 1964, it passed the Civil Rights Act which banned discrimination based on race and national origin. Medicare was introduced in 1965 and took effect in 1966, eliminating one of the Conservative’s favorite tools for disposing of useless, excess grannies. Eugenics, practiced in the U.S. from 1890 to 1920, adopted by Hitler, is being restored now that the U.S. has no moral opponents.

In 1980, Republicans decided it was time to resume the old, cherished Nazi ways. The U.S. had an unearned reputation for being civilized. It had mastered the science of propaganda pioneered in World War I. The media had been changed from a Fourth Estate to a Fifth Column. The vast majority of Americans were functioning at a three-year-old mental, moral and maturity level. They could be herded together and stampeded in any direction, no matter how immoral or criminal the act.

The German Reverend Martin Niemoller wrote a sermonette as he languished in a Nazi prison in 1943. He wrote:
First they came for the Communists.
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the trade-unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade-unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Americans defeated the Communists, the first and most reviled enemies of Nazis. Now they must go after the trade-unionists. They launched their full frontal assault on that group in 2011. The American Nazi high command is not the brightest group in the world. It is so gorged with greed and gluttony that its brain is deprived of nourishment and atrophied. It could defeat itself.

The Legacy of Reagan at 100

Feb. 6 was the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the U.S. Revered by many during his presidency, he retains a loyal following today. For them, Reagan’s word is gospel, his acts were ingenious. For instance, for 2 1/2 decades, Republicans argued that Reagan proved debt doesn’t matter.
Reagan was the savior to his devout followers. They advocated revoking the 22nd Amendment limiting presidential terms so he could be president for life. They wanted to carve his countenance on Mt. Rushmore alongside four of the most popular presidents. They praised his resolve. He made a decision and went ahead with it as opposed to Bill Clinton who held his finger up to the wind to see which way it was blowing to determine his course of action. They ignored the fact that leading in the direction the people desire is democracy. Going wherever the leader decides to go is dictatorship.
Reagan brought the U.S. out of strangling inflation, cut taxes and stimulated business to a renewed prosperity, his devotees claimed. He brought down the Berlin Wall merely by standing beside it and commanding it to go away just as Moses told the Red Sea to part so Jews could escape from Egypt. That act was followed by bringing down the Soviet Union itself with an expensive, budget busting arms race. Those accomplishments would destroy the cause of wars and generate a peace dividend, Reagan promised.
On Feb. 6, Reagan admirers across the U.S. gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and legacy of their hero and pray that the U.S. would produce another presidential candidate just like him.
Looking back over a generation later, what was the Reagan record? How did his actions affect future generations? Thanks mostly to Reagan the nation now has a $14 trillion debt. When Reagan took office, the national debt was less than $1 trillion, an amount candidate Reagan said was appalling and president Reagan would resolve immediately. President Reagan never balanced any of his eight budgets and tripled the national debt to $3 trillion.
Reagan reinstated the trickle-down, supply-side economics policies that were so disastrous in the 1920s and ‘30s. He added Milton Friedman’s neoliberal monetarist theories and changed the economic emphasis from manufacturing to service jobs. He repeatedly called for Congress to get the government off the backs of businesses and free corporations to do what they do best, grow and expand the economy. The fuel for predicted economic prosperity would be tax cuts and a smaller, less intrusive government.
Reagan’s admirers claim that is exactly what happened. However, according to many experts, reality is quite different. One of the best critics of Reagan is Kevin Philips. Philips is a Republican who served in the Nixon Administration as a statistician and strategist. He set out to defend Reagan from his critics, but after crunching the numbers, a different picture emerged. In his book, The Politics of Rich and Poor (1990), Philips revealed some alarming statistics. When Reagan took office, the U.S. was the world’s largest creditor nation. When he left office, the U.S. was the world’s greatest debtor nation importing billions more each year than it exported. Wages stagnated as Reagan waged war on the unions. Mothers were forced to abandon their children and enter the workforce because a father no longer earned enough to provide for a family by himself. Non-union service jobs had replaced well-paying manufacturing jobs leaving families clamoring to earn enough to survive.
As in the 1920s, supply-side economics failed to trickle down, log-jamming the wealth at the top and starving the demand-side of the economy. Deregulated, unaccountable businesses proved that what they do best is plunder the economy. In 1987, the stock market took a record dive. Deregulated Savings and Loans went into receivership by the dozens and had to be bailed out by the taxpayers. Dot-Com information technology businesses collapsed because of corrupt, unmonitored business practices. Then several of the big accounting firms folded as unregulated businesses resembled casinos more than responsible enterprises serving as stewards of a nation’s economy.
Reagan cut taxes for prosperous citizens, but raised them on lower income working people. For instance, he raised Social Security contributions over 50% and used that surplus to disguise the drain on the Treasury from tax cuts for the wealthy.
The Savings and Loan collapses and other business failures were the first tremors of a pending economic earthquake. The earthquake was postponed recklessly and irresponsibly by borrowing massive amounts of money from future generations.
By the time George W. Bush left office in 2009, the national debt was $12 trillion, and interest on the Reagan-Bush debt became the third biggest expense in the Federal budget. Since 1981, Reagan presided over five record deficits; G. H. W. Bush, two; George W. Bush, four. Bill Clinton had zero record deficits in eight years. Every Republican budget since 1981 was a deficit. Fifty five percent were record deficits.
In foreign policy, Reagan also had a dismal record. He helped fund and train a contingent of about 3,000 Arabs who went to Afghanistan in the 1980s to fight with their Muslim brothers against Soviet invaders. Those Arabs were led by Osama bin Laden. When the U.S. established military bases in Saudi Arabia during the First Gulf War, bin Laden saw the act as aggression similar to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. He issued several warnings for the U.S. to withdraw, which were ignored by two presidents. Bin Laden then turned to force, bombing two U.S. embassies in Africa, the Navy ship USS Cole and finally, the World Trade Center.
Reagan was obsessed with the Central American nation of Nicaragua which had the audacity to electharoldtagg@comcast.net Communists to lead it. He was determined to evict Communism from the American continents and used every means available to reach his objective. He funded “Contras” to overthrow the government. He mined Nicaragua’s harbors which got the U.S. convicted by the World Court for terrorist activities. When Congress finally cut off funding for the hostilities, Reagan turned to drug-running and arms deals with Iran, a nation on the State Department’s terrorist list, to get the funding. These acts of subversion, treason, money laundering and drug running became know as the Iran-Contra scandal.
The book Conservatives without Conscience (2006), authored by Nixon White House attorney John Dean in collaboration with Barry Goldwater, compiled several studies done after World War II by social psychologists. The madness of the war indicated existing theories of human behavior and psychology were inadequate. One conclusion was that 25% of conservatives would never comprehend the destructive, illegal and atrocious behavior of their idols and heroes no matter what evidence was uncovered. Reagan will have devoted followers for at least two more generations.

The Head of the Snake

Jacques Rostand, a French philosopher said: Kill a man, you’re a murderer. Kill a million, you’re a conquerer. Kill them all, you’re a god.
Rostand described the mind of a person functioning at a stimulus-response (S-R) level. That personality type is obsessed with the trivial and insignificant events and issues while failing to comprehend the complex and catastrophic threats looming over its head. For him, profanity can be a horrible, immoral outrage while mass murder is insignificant. It’s the style, framing and emotion-triggering words that sparks the outrage far out of proportion to the situation. When Bill Clinton got caught fondling someone who wasn’t his wife, the S-R crowd was outraged and impeached him. The Republican leader of the proceedings was an adulterer. Many of his committee members and the loudest critics of Clinton, such as Senator Vitter, also were adulterers and whoremongers, yet they were given a pass by the S-R herd. They even reelected Vitter by a wide margin even though his name appeared on customer lists of Louisiana madams.
Behind the fury is a snake that weaves itself into every fabric of public life where it manipulates and maneuvers the dimwitted flocks of sheep. The visible part of that snake’s head was plutocrat Richard Mellon Scaife.
Today, the snake is out to get Barak Obama. The snakehead this time is the plutocrat Koch brothers, Charles and David. The herd is reacting furiously and indignantly having learned nothing from its last deception and lacks any ability to absorb American values, principles and ideals.

THE REST OF THE SNAKE

In 1934, former Marine general Smedley Butler exposed a conspiracy to overthrow the “socialist” Roosevelt government and replace it with a Fascist type government like those thriving in several European nations such as Italy, Germany and Spain. The conspiracy became known as the “Industrialists Plot” for the wealthy manufacturers and bankers behind it. The Industrialists planned to form a private army, like Blackwater, composed of 500,000 World War I veterans and violently overthrow the FDR government. They would replace it with a Fascist and Nazi style government similar to those in Europe. Members of the coup had assisted the Fascists’ rise to power.
The violent overthrow was Plan B. Plan A was to assassinate FDR, Kennedy style, and install their Fascist government.
Coup leaders approached Marine General Smedley Butler to lead the troops. Unfortunately for them, Butler was a patriotic American and believed in democracy. He exposed the plot. The Democrats controlled every branch of government, yet, like Reagan’s subversive actions in Nicaragua and George W. Bush’s numerous acts of subversion and treason, the Democrats did nothing more than hold superficial hearings and cover up the traitorous and criminal acts.
The conspirators came predominantly from a group called the American Liberty League. The National Association of Manufacturers was a major supporter. One of the top leaders was a banker named Prescott Bush, father of President George H. W. Bush and grandfather of President George W. Bush. Co-conspirators were a whose-who of American corporations: Colgate, Heinz, General Motors, Birds Eye, U.S. Steel, Standard Oil, Chase National Bank, Goodyear Tire and The Mutual Life Insurance Co. Du Pont was the biggest funder and most critical member. Its Remington Arms Co. division was ready to provide all the weapons needed. The media, except for Scripps-Howard papers, were willing propaganda tools for the plotters.
No one was punished for the conspiracy to murder the president, overthrow the government and shred the Constitution because the plotters were and are super-citizens that, like the Politburo in the Soviet Union, are the unaccountable rulers of the nation. That Fascist nobility is above the law. That nobility continues to rule the nation today.
The Fascists lost World War II. The Fascists won World War II. The world goals of Adolph Hitler and George H. W. Bush shared the same terminology: “New world order.” Hitler’s strategy was brutal force. The American strategy is world hegemony with periodic brutal crushings of small, defenseless nations as a warning sign to all other nations.
In the U.S., democracy is not a political system. Democracy is a diversion, like a baby’s rattle, that keeps the S-R masses distracted from reality, from those who are exploiting them and robbing them blind.

Cognitive vs Stimulus-response

Peoples' minds function at a cognitive level or a stimulus-response level. Very few attain the cognitive level. That's where the conscience and soul are activated. Jesus attained that level, as did Mohammed, Confucius and Buddha. Those people can see through the haze of dust, the confusion of chaos, and the maze of deception. The rest fall for the same scams again and again with no moral rudder to guide them. Jesus said 12 X 12 X 1,000 people would follow him into the promised land. Sure some scribe or pope added "and millions more," but the 144,000 figure is correct. Why would anyone give a very specific number then an unlimited number? The Jews say there are 36 super righteous men at any one time that God listens to, like taking a poll. Mohammed spoke extensively about the struggle between the enlightened cognitive mind and the primitive mind. He called it Jihad. Later religious leaders corrupted Jihad to apply to struggles among the "pious" and reformers and outsiders. Primary to all the religions is the struggle within the self. When people of a religion form into a group, they are losing ground to their primitive instincts and surrendering the internal struggle.

Conservatives definition

Conservatives, by definition, lack principles, values and ethics. They follow traditions guided by a powerful instinct for security and order. They will be the same religion, culture and political leaning as their parents. They are Christians in the U.S. and Muslims in the Middle East. They are Republicans in the U.S., Communists in the Soviet Union and Nazis in 1930s Germany. When they stood for “no one is above the law” in the 1990s, and some are above the law in the zeroes, that is not hypocrisy. That is conservative.

Elephant gives birth to mouse

The healthcare playoffs are over. The final score was corporations 9, the people 1. The people continue a 30-year losing streak. They didn’t stand a chance against the corporations’ unlimited money and retarded but fierce special teams of obstructionists in Washington D.C.

The development of the bill was like three blind men describing an elephant based on the part of the elephant they were touching. The entire process was like that elephant in a pregnant state. Months of arduous, difficult, excruciatingly painful labor passed. Finally the day came. The elephant gave birth to a baby mouse.

As the election year comes to a climax, we can expect to see Democrats walking around carrying that little mouse and exclaiming: "Vote for us. Look at what we got for you."

Democrats seem to be afraid of holding power. It' surprising that one even sticks its head out from time to time. They could have done what their more daring predecessors did in the 1930s. They should have attacked, held hearings, prosecuted and exposed all of the irresponsibility, waste, murder and subversive activities of their Republican counterparts. Put the Republicans on the defensive. Now the Democrats are on the defensive for crimes the Republicans committed. As in the 1930s, the Democrats could have increased their majority, possibly up to the 80% they had in that decade. Then the Democrats could have passed real healthcare legislation. They could have trust busted as Teddy Roosevelt and Robert Taft did. They could have taxed financial transactions until every penny of debt was paid off. They could have jailed corporate executives for their massive crimes and confiscate their ill-gotten property. They could have made corporations responsible to the people first, not the stockholders. They could have restored the Constitution, law and order and replaced the dysfunctional legal system with a justice system.

The Democrats act as if they are neophytes at the governing game. It's time to replace they with competent politicians.

One billion fetuses robbed

When Ronald Reagan became president in 1981, the national debt was less than $1 trillion. When he left office, after eight years of “Republican fiscal responsibility,” the national debt had tripled to $3 trillion.

The sanctimonious Henry Hyde presided over the impeachment of William Clinton. Henry Hyde had a little secret. He was an adulterer. He had a four year affair with a married mother of two. The affair destroyed the family. Bill Clinton’s affair was limited to fondling. Hyde’s affair was carnal. Clinton was impeached. Hyde begged forgiveness. His affair was “a youthful indiscretion,” he claimed. It ended when he turned 45.

The law and order party wants streets flooded with police because they believe most Americans are criminals just waiting to steal their wallets and their contents of $10. If those same criminals become corporate executives where they are in a position to steal tens of thousands of dollars from them, Republicans believe they need no policing or monitoring. Bernie Madoff, Ken Lay, Ivan Boesky or Michael Milkin need no oversight because they are monitored by a spirit called the “invisible hand of the marketplace.”

Conservatives claim they are defenders of the unborn. Their fetus fraud is as valid as their family values, fiscal responsibility and law and order claims. The fetus is convenient because they don’t have to back up their claim with a single penny. Demand that they agree to increased taxes until every infant has adequate food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education, and their’s will be the loudest shouts of “Kill the bastard.”
The $11 trillion Reagan-Bush debt was a robbery of fetuses, the most defenseless forms of life. With interest of $600 billion per year, the debt will be a burden on untold generations of fetuses. If we borrowed the McDonald’s claim, it would read: “over !,000,000,000 swindled.”

George W. Bush and his administration are responsible for the murders and mutilations of millions of people, yet most Americans believe he committed no crime, and certainly should not be punished, even admonished for bad judgement.
Bush and his collaborators clearly fabricated justifications for the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. Several of the reasons were blatant outright lies such as the charge that Saddam Hussein kicked out the U.N. weapons inspectors. Simple research would reveal that in 1998 the Clinton and Blair Administrations warned the inspectors to leave Iraq because the U.S. and U.K. planned massive air strikes on that nation. The inspectors left. Saddam wouldn’t allow them back in, but he did not kick then out.
An example of the manipulation of facts was the charge that Saddam had total contempt for international law since he was in violation of 17 U.N. Resolutions. How common is violation of U.N. Resolutions? Turkey was in violation of twice that many at that time and Israel was in violation of four times that many. The U.S. total was more than eight times Iraq’s violations. Furthermore, most of the violations charged against Iraq were invalid. Saddam was charged with violations that were unfounded, many relating to weapons of mass destruction and nuclear ambitions which he did not have.
Judges who served at the Nuremberg Tribunals that tried and punished Nazis after World War II said aggression was the supreme charge that could be leveled against a suspect. They said the Bush Administration’s invasion of Iraq clearly met the criteria for an act of aggression. The U.S. and Great Britain hanged dozens of Nazis on the charge of aggression. George Bush will not spend a day in jail for committing the supreme crime. No wonder the U.S. is so dysfunctional.
Why was aggression a horrible capital crime when committed by Nazis and pardonable when committed by U.S. politicians? Cognitive dissonance is the psychological term. Our animal instincts tell us that our leaders can do no wrong. Most people have a double standard and tend to go into denial when their own herd leaders commit a horrendous crime, particularly when they believe the act is protecting the herd.
Regicide, murdering the king, is revulsive instinctively to those whose minds are dominated by the amygdala, or primitive sector of the the hybrid brain. It's an indication that Americans still are not ready for democracy, justice and values.
The percentage of people who oppose punishing George W. Bush for his crimes, including the murders of more than 4,350 U.S. troops, is indicative of the number of Americans whose minds remain at the atavistic first millennium stage. That number approaches 90%,

State of Nation speech 2010

Barak Obama’s state of the union address on Jan. 27, 2010 was long on words and short on viable solutions to the nation’s problems. The speech was poorly written. Obama stressed bi-partisanship proving that he had learned little over the past year about working with Republicans.
Those who expected to be disappointed with Obama’s proposals were disappointed. He proved that Winston Churchill’s observation that “You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they’ve exhausted all other possibilities,” still applies.
The president failed to identify the real problems and their causes. Some of his facts were wrong. He claimed the Bush Administration left a $3 trillion hole in the budget. In fact, it was $5 trillion. The billions Bush spent to eliminate the Clinton $200 billion per year surplus should be added in also. Obama pointed out that the solutions offered by the Republicans are the policies of the past eight years that were so disastrous. In fact, it was Republican practices since Ronald Reagan. The Republican response, nevertheless, trotted out those old failed policies as if they were new and untried.
There was little sign that Obama was ready to fight for any of his proposals. Apparently all of his rhetoric in Elyria, Ohio about fighting took all of the fight out of him. Instead he wound up his speech trying to shame the Republicans into working for someone other than their beloved corporations, but the all-white side of the isle was hanging no heads. He reminded them that security and American values are not mutually exclusive.
The president proposed a jobs program in areas such as high speed rail and clean energy. He also proposed a three-year freeze on government spending. He failed to mention the promised tax increases on the rich, a plan enacted under Bill Clinton that contributed to the prosperity of the 1990s, and four years of balanced budgets.
It’s not as if the current economic crisis is uncharted territory. We’ve been here before. We know what caused it. We know what worked to solve it. Why do our leaders pretend to be in the dark? From 1921 to 1933, the Republicans controlled every branch of the Federal Government. They implemented supply-side economics and deregulation and tumbled the country into The Great Depression. Massive government spending by Democrats beginning in 1933 came to the rescue until 1937 when caution led to a stall back into economic sluggishness. The Republicans under Reaganomics repeated their 1920s catastrophe. Why does Obama feel a need to make the same 1930s Democratic mistakes?
Obama still believes, or claims to believe, that the bank bailouts were necessary. If so, why did the financial institutions have record profits in 2009. He promised to slap the biggest banks on the wrists with a small fee. In this nation, only the poor are punished. If the banks can afford large bonuses, they can afford to pay back those loans, he claimed. But what about the trillions given to them by the Federal Reserve. Congress doesn't know the exact numbers because the Reserve refuses to provide them. The Federal Reserve seems to be beyond the reach of the law and and Congress. Yet, U.S. citizens are responsible for their debts.
Obama made promises to the nation to emphasize technology and science education and close the education gap with our commercial competitors. China, Germany and India are leading in this area, and the U.S. must do better to compete, he observed. Whoever leads the clean energy economy will lead the global economy, he predicted.
He would like to bypass the banks in the student loan process where they skim off a nice profit for themselves. Loan repayment amounts should not be more than 10% of the graduate’s annual income. Obama bemoaned the inferior products of our educational system. Of course, the wise approach would be to do what most other nations do, provide free higher education for all of those who perform well. That way talented children, rather than spoiled, borderline retarded rich children, get the degrees.
Obama began the speech claiming he has never been more hopeful about the nation’s future. If he could see the politicians from our perspective, he wouldn’t make that claim.
The president promised “Jobs would be the number one focus in 2010.” He added that companies that ship jobs overseas would lose their tax breaks. Thirty nine billion dollars will go to banks to make loans to small businesses and tax breaks to those that create jobs and increase wages.
Obama had a bag of goodies for students, small businesses, healthcare assistance, childcare and other constituencies, but he lacked the bold enterprises necessary to overcome the crisis. He is following the American tradition of trying everything else before doing the right thing. He will look for the uniquely American way which always is so elusive and doomed to failure.
The obligatory time was devoted to praising the humanity and high values of the American people. Even though these have never existed, all presidents must pretend they do.

The same old Republican speech:

The Republicans chose newly elected Virginia governor Bob McConnell to read the Republican response. The speech always is the same so they should just show a video of Ronald Reagan or Herbert Hoover reading it. McConnell wasn’t allowed to walk up to the podium after the Bobby Jindal fiasco that ended the sharp rise of the Louisiana governor’s presidential bid.
McConnell charged Obama and the Democrats with the obstructions the Republicans practiced over the past year. The Republican base never will catch on.
McConnell blamed the deficits and debts on the Obama Administration even though 92% of it was the consequence of Reaganomics. In fact, Republicans like Dick Cheney claimed Reagan proved that debt doesn’t matter. It’s only money we owe to ourselves, Reagan proclaimed.
McConnel now becomes the Republican golden boy, and leading candidate for the 2012 presidency. He has good hair, so he meets all the qualifications. If only he can keep his mistresses or boyfriends quiet until he moves into the White House, the Republicans might get another chance to rob fetuses.

As a former employee of the Social Security Administration, I was thrilled to see William Greider’s article “Looting Social Security” (The Nation, January 25, 2010). The massive surplus figures of $3 trillion are readily available, but the mainstream media seem unable to find them.
I would quarrel with the tendency to define Social Security as an entitlement. It’s the Federal Insurance Contribution Act (FICA). It’s an insurance program paid out of wages. Benefits are distributed according to the amount paid in and years worked.
A looting issue Greider didn’t address was the outright criminal theft from lower and middle class workers. Social Security is a flat tax, so deductions begin with the first dollar of wages each year. Deductions continue up to a ceiling. In 1981, when Ronald Reagan became president, that ceiling was $29,700. When Reagan left office it was $48,000. Today it is slightly over $100,000. When that ceiling is reached, which happens only for the richest Americans, it’s like receiving a huge tax cut. The exception is Medicare for which there is no wage ceiling. That deduction is about 1.5% plus a matching amount from the employer. Healthcare for our oldest, sickest, neediest citizens costs 3% of wages in the public sector. For the younger, healthier segments of society, it is 17% of GDP.
Reagan also increased the percentage of deductions by 25%. In effect, there was a 55% tax increase on lower and middle class workers. That is the largest tax increase in history. It also is the largest larceny in history. The mainstream media missed that one too.
The final turn of the knife is the interest paid on the bonds bought by surplus Social Security contributions. Reagan used the bond money to conceal the costs of tax cuts for the wealthy and a massive military buildup to spend the Soviet Union into the Stone Age. That interest plus the principle must be paid back out of income taxes. Part of a worker’s income taxes goes to replacing his own Social Security contributions.

Barak Obama used the verb “fight” more than a dozen times in his speech in Elyria, Ohio on Jan. 22, 2010. He vowed again and again to fight for the people against abuses, excesses and predatory practices of the big corporations in general and the financial institutions in particular.
Obama spent his first year in the White House proving that he is not a fighter. He bent over backwards and wasted most of the year trying to please Republicans who want nothing but his failure. He said he is not going to prosecute the two most evil criminals and mass murderers of the 21st Century, even though his oath of office requires him to do so.
If Obama is sincere about changing his ways and fighting for the people against the rogue, predatory corporations, Rahm Immanuel, Larry Summers and Timothy Geitner will no longer be in his administration by April 30, 2010. If they are, we will know that the candidate for change still has no intention of changing, or fighting.
Obama spent his first year proving that he is not a fighter. Like most Democrats, he is somewhere on the spectrum between a compromiser and a surrenderer. Will we get three more years of timidity and weakness? My bet is “yes.”

Republican Candidate Requirements

Due to rigid requirements, Republicans don’t have a viable candidate to run for president in 2012. The election of Scott Brown in the Massachusetts special election on Jan. 19, 2010, has produced a potential candidate. Below are the guidelines for this rarefied position:

1) Intellectually, must be a moron or higher.
2) English should be the primary language, but mastery of grammar is not mandatory. Most Americans consider someone who speaks correctly to be a smart aleck.
3) Ability to give speeches is not necessary. We have speech writers.
4) Ability to write legislation is not necessary. Lobbyists do that for us.
5) A thick shock of hair is a plus.
6) White skin is a plus.
7) Blue eyes are a plus.
8) Six feet tall or taller is a plus.
9) Ignorance of the Constitution is a plus. The Constitution confuses the Republican base.
10)Acts of adultery are excusable until age 45. That’s when Republicans pass into adulthood. We believe those are the two stages of life.
11)Fondling someone who is not your wife, as Bill Clinton did, is the worst crime imaginable. Groping women who are complete strangers, as Arnold Schwarzenegger does regularly, is just boys being boys.
12)Should have been born in the United States, but advocate adding Austria to that qualification. We need a backup candidate.
13)Be a Christian. It allows you to be a total asshole all of your life but get into heaven if you confess your sins before you die.
14)Contend that Ronald Reagan was the second coming. His likeness should be carved into Mt. Rushmore, replacing George Washington, so Republicans will have a holy place where they can go, pray, confess and condemn all those they hate.
15)Contend that the United States is the most noble nation that ever existed. Genocide of 10 million Indians, slavery until 1865, lynchings of over 5,000 negroes, the only nation ever to incinerate hundreds of thousands of people with nuclear weapons, notwithstanding.
16)Don't think. You will receive a fax each day with "talking points" you are to use no matter what question you are asked.

Steve Huntley, conservative columnist n the Chicago Sun Times, is the only person I know who didn’t like the movie “Avatar” (Op-ed Jan. 12, 2010). The primary reason, I would guess, is that his side lost. The advocates of greed, gluttony and aggression were unable to defeat a primitive people even though the invaders had vastly superior weapons. That happened in our war in Vietnam and is happening in our war in Afghanistan, so it is not a pie-in-the-sky ideal.
Secondly, Huntley didn’t understand many parts of the movie. When Jack Sulley fell hundreds of feet to the ground and got up unhurt like the cartoon character Wile E. Coyote, it’s because Pandora is a smaller planet and has less gravitational force. Consequently, the people also can be and are taller and slimmer.
The invading mercenary army, led by a corporate executive, represents a society where only property is sacred. They are willing to damage their environment, go to any expense and kill any number of people, including their own, to get a rare mineral.
The primitive natives, on the other hand, are in tune with their environment and each other and can interact as one entity similar to the synapses and neurons of the brain.
If Huntley believes “Avatar” is the worst movie of the year, it has to be the best.

Our real threats

Steve Huntley’s articles always are fascinating. His article “Take down Web jihadists, one way or another,” (Chicago Sun Times op-ed, Jan. 5, 2010) is typical. He begins the article condemning extra-judicial murders and ends the article advocating extra-judicial murders. He condemns using the mass media to spread hate and destruction, then uses the mass media to spread hate and destruction.
This ethical confusion is called cognitive dissonance and is typical of the majority of American minds. Moral contradiction was identified thousands of years ago. A Chinese proverb points our that we judge others by their acts and ourselves by our intentions. Jesus made a similar observation stating that there are some among us who can see the splinter in their neighbor’s eye but can’t see the log in their own eye.
Steve’s logs must have felled a forest. Steve is a statutory terrorist as are all Americans. The World Court convicted the U.S. of terrorism in the case The Republic of Nicaragua v the United States. When a nation is convicted of terrorism or other heinous crimes, that nation must punish the perpetrators which were Ronald Reagan and his Administration. If the nation does not administer the punishment, then all of its citizens are complicit, and in this case, terrorists.
Bin Laden never was convicted in any court. Abdulmutallab has not been convicted in any court. It’s questionable whether a convicted terrorist can bring terror charges against another person or persons. That’s very likely the reason for U.S. reluctance to try accused Muslims. Instead, it kidnaps and detains them in violation of everything American stands for.
Conservatives usually oppose rights and rule-of-law. They prefer frontier, lynch-mob justice. They want the government they claim can’t be trusted to act arbitrarily and hastily. They trust their impulse, hunch, visceral reaction and stimulus-response instincts. They have blind faith in their executive, and distrust judicial procedures that involve input from ordinary citizens.
Huntley, Bush, Cheney and their fellow terrorists have murdered over 1.3 million Iraqis, according to a John Hopkins‘ study. They murdered more Americans than were killed on 9/11 and subsequent al Qaeda attacks combined. They hope that screaming against terrorism will distract the world from noticing their far more horrendous acts of carnage. They point to the splinters and hope no one notices the avalanche of logs.
Our greatest threat is the Huntleys, Bushes, Cheneys and their collaborators in our own back yard.

Two hundred and thirty three years ago, conservatives argued that breaking away from the British Empire was a bad idea, especially if the people became rulers replacing a king. The people would vote for their own selfish interests, conservatives argued, harming the nation and in the end destroying the nation and themselves. It was better to stay under the rule of King George. Democracy is the same as anarchy, they argued.
--One hundred and fifty years ago, conservatives argued that negroes are very childlike, and if they were forced away from the protection and security of the plantations, they would starve and die.
--One hundred and twenty five years ago, conservatives argued that if work time was reduced to 40 hours per week, workers, who are as dumb as oxen, would spend the free time in bars and drink up all their pay. Workers and their families would starve to death.
--One hundred years ago, conservatives argued that women are mindless and superficial and unable to comprehend complicated subjects such as politics. If they were allowed to vote, they would vote for the best looking man, not the most qualified man. The ill-led nation would fall apart.
--Eighty five years ago, conservatives argued that there is a spirit called the “invisible hand of the market place (Tihomp)” that will guide the economy efficiently and brilliantly. If we turn our economy over to the Tihomp spirit, the whole nation will experience unimaginable prosperity. They trusted complete control to Tihomp and the nation collapsed into the Great Depression.
--Seventy five years ago, conservatives argued that negroes were too lazy and undisciplined to become proficient in competitive sports.
--Seventy three years ago, conservatives including Henry Ford, Walt Disney and Prescott Bush, the father and grandfather of two U.S. presidents, argued that there was a rising political star in Europe that we all should admire and emulate. That star’s name was Adolph Hitler.
--Seventy years ago, conservatives argued that Social Security would be a gateway to socialism and would destroy the economy and bankrupt the nation.
--Sixty five years ago, conservatives argued that farming was the only occupation negroes could do unsupervised.
--Fifty years ago, conservatives said nuclear war with the Soviet Union was inevitable. They urged the U.S. to initiate a first strike while the U.S. had nuclear superiority. Otherwise, life on earth would be annihilated before the end of the 20th Century and the Communists would control the burning, radioactive embers.
--Forty four years ago, conservatives argued that medicare is a government program and a gateway to socialism, bankruptcy of the economy and certain destruction of the nation. Not a single Republican voted for it.
--Thirty years ago, conservatives said that abortions were necessary, otherwise dark skinned people soon would outnumber light skinned people and take control of the nation.
--Twenty nine years ago, conservatives said killing fetuses is murder. However, they had no problem denying adequate food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education to children and watching them die a slow agonizing death of neglect. The new strategy was to knock off dark skinned people at the infant stage, when they no longer were holed up, to prevent the browning of America. Conservatives relish viewing suffering.
--Twenty eight years ago, conservatives claimed that the Soviet Union was the source of all conflicts and wars. If the Soviet Union fell, there would be no more wars. Everyone would receive a “peace dividend,” Ronald Reagan promised. No more taxes would be wasted on the military.
--Eight years ago, conservatives listed 10 infractions of international law that Iraq had perpetrated. Conservatives argue that the government can not be trusted, but they trusted the Bush Administration, even after all 10 justifications for a preemptive invasion of Iraq proved to be false. Bush had information that could not be made public, they argued with total blind faith in their government.
--Today, negroes are surviving and thriving outside the plantations, and one holds the highest office in the nation. They also excel at and dominate most sports. Workers are working only 40 hours per week. They and their families are surviving and thriving. The pubs are doing no better than they did under close social scrutiny of the taverns. Women are voting and the nation is more democratic and caring. Some of the cruelty and meanness are gone, but not all. Thanks to socialism, Seniors not longer are the most impoverished group in the U.S. The majority of seniors are able to pass their accumulated wealth on to their children rather than have it confiscated by the healthcare industry.
--So, why are the conservatives still here? They are alarmists. They have cried “wolf” a thousand times and been wrong a thousand times. They are the primary source of all conflicts, wars, racism, poverty, ignorance, hate, crime and death. The Soviet Union collapsed, but wars are more frequent. Conservatives are the link to our animal predecessors and animal behaviors. They function at a stimulus-response level just like their brainless jellyfish ancestors. When they are gone, wars will be gone; poverty will be gone; conflicts will be minor. We will have evolved into humans, at last. We will see our peace dividend.
--Conservatives remain because we have not evolved very far. The critical problem is that they have 21st Century weapons in their gnarled first century hands.

Healthcare overcharges good, taxes bad

The average family of four in the U.S. pays more in overcharges for healthcare than for federal income taxes. That family gets a large return on its taxes and none on its healthcare overcharge. Why does the family complain about the taxes and supports the healthcare plundering of its assets?

Everyone is born hardwired to respond to alarms that could save them from harm. These alarms usually come in the form or words uttered by the mother that alert the infant or child to dangers. These are "screech words" delivered in a shrill or alarmed voice such as "no!" or "don't!" or a series of words such as: "It will bite you!" or "That will make you sick!" These words are etched into the brain immediately rather than through the normal memory process that requires repetition or multiple sources.

Some screech words are baseless. For instance "pork" generates revulsion in Jews and Arabs. At one time, there probably was a reason to avoid it, but no longer. The parents pass the false disgust along anyway because it is etched deeply into their brains. In the U.S. words like "socialism" and "communism" carry the alarm even though 95% of Americans don't know what they mean.

Birds and other mammals also use similar shrill warnings. The quivers that go through the body when someone scratches a blackboard with a finger nail probably originated from monkeys that use the sound to warn of danger. Birds sound alarms when raptor birds are flying around the area.

In the U.S., the rulers have managed to render "taxes" into a screech word. Those whose minds are undeveloped, frozen at the infant level, lack the analytical aptitudes to see through the ruse.

Bin Laden's god superior to Bush's god

Bin Laden had one simple goal in his conflict with the U.S. He also had a dream. He got both. He got more. Bin Laden wanted the U.S. bases out of Saudi Arabia where they defiled, in his mind, Muslim holy lands and sites. He bombed two U.S. embassies. The bases were not removed. He bombed the U.S.S. Cole. The bases were not removed. He bombed the World Trade Center. The troops and bases were removed.

Allah blessed Bin Laden with far more powerful weapons than car bombs. He gave him weapons more destructive than nuclear bombs. Allah gave him George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Like an anaphylactic shock, the most evil men of the 21st Century failed to understand the intelligence regarding the upcoming Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. Their ignorance allowed the attacks to succeed spectacularly. Like the Egyptian god Set, Allah seems to have put the two dim-witted men into a state of confusion.

The chances for such an attack succeeding had to be near 1,000,000 to 1. Only divine intervention could be responsible for the miraculous success.

Obama's grades for first 150 days

As an independent, former history teacher, I feel there is enough information to grade Barak Obama’s performance as president. I would give him the following grades in the most crucial areas of his job. Overall, he is failing, in my opinion. I give him a D-. He has the potential to do much better, but only if he replaces all of his advisors and department heads. Obama is a solid centrist at a time when centrist is a state of decay.

Obama is saddled with an avalanche of debt inherited from gross mismanagement and outright crimes, treason and subversion by the George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan Administrations. Obama needs to remind Americans at every opportunity that this debt is so massive, it will take at least four years just to stop the hemorrhaging. Only then can repair and rebuilding begin. Obama should "redo '32," villifying the Republicans and reducing their numbers to the 20% they held in Congress in 1937. Then he could bring about real change. Currently, he lacks the wisdom to know what is necessary to repair the nation and has no one around him that knows. Bipartisanship that he favors is lethal. It will make al Qaeda happy.

1). LEADERSHIP Grade: D
Barak Obama has surrounded himself with problem-causers, not problem-solvers. Many of his most important department heads have served before. They helped create the shaky structure that is collapsing and threatens the existence of this nation.

Times of profound crisis demand bold leadership. Obama has displayed the timidity so typical of members of the Democratic Party. He has bent over backwards to attract bipartisan cooperation from the Republican Party, a party that notoriously does not play well with others.

Obama lacks a vision. He generally has continued the policies of his predecessor. He puts the interests of the corporations above those of the people.

2). ECONOMY Grade: D
The people who got everything wrong about the economy advised a bank bailout. Demand-side economics is superior to supply-side economics because demand is two-thirds of the economy. Supply eagerly follows demand. So called “toxic assets” could have been transformed into real assets. Bankrupt people could have had a better chance to become stable tax payers as their lodging problems were reduced. If the bailout money had gone to them, they could have became property-holding consumers sooner.

Obama has not addressed or even recognized the structural problems caused by Reaganomics. Nearly a dozen nations tried neoliberalism with disastrous results. Obama has not yet considered fixing those massive problems.

3). HISTORY Grade F
As he promised, Obama is launching military strikes inside Pakistan and escalating the war in Afghanistan. He is making Pakistan more unstable. He is showing contempt for international law and sound judgment. Afghanistan is known as the “Graveyard of Empires.” The Soviet Union was defeated there as were the British and the Mongols.

Obama is repeating the mistakes Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon made in Vietnam. Bin Laden accomplished his goal, which was to remove the U.S. military from Saudi Arabia. George H. W. Bush promised to withdraw the troops as soon as Saddam Hussein was removed from Kuwait. Bush lied. Bin Laden’s attack on 9/11 was far more justified than Bush’s invasion of Iraq. Why is Obama “looking back” on that incident and not on the damage Bush did to the U.S., which is about 1,000 times greater?

History tells us that the last time Republicans controlled every branch of government for an extended period was 1921-1932. They were able to implement their cockamamie ideas, which produced The Great Depression. By 1937, the Republicans held less than 20% of the seats in the Senate and the House of Representatives. Rather than compromise, Obama could “redo ’32,” gain a large majority for his party and bring about real change.

When Ronald Reagan committed treason, subversion, contempt of Congress and ran drugs into the U.S., a crime spree known as the Iran/Contra affair, Democrats gave him a stern tongue-lashing. They felt that would deter any future aspiring totalitarian from snubbing his nose a Congress. The message it sent was that Democrats lacked the will and courage to enforce the Constitution when major crimes are committed. The lesson was not lost on Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. Obama has failed to grasp it so far.

4). CONSTITUTION Grade F
Obama’s is a lawyer by profession. He must have specialized in criminal defense law because he is willing to overlook the most hideous crimes and massive crime wave of the 21st Century. The Bush Administration committed treason, subversion and war crimes; it used WMDs against civilians, sent nearly 4,300 American soldiers to unnecessary deaths and mutilated tens of thousands more. Bush looted the Treasury of over $5 trillion dollars, gave lucrative, posh contracts to friends of the Administration, suspended habeas corpus, rigged elections, spied on all Americans, kidnapped innocent people, tortured people, killed people without a trial or reason, often acted like a dictator, violated treaties, concealed and fabricated evidence and facts and violated most of the Bill of Rights and the first three Articles of the Constitution.

Obama is willing to launch attacks against Pakistan risking more contempt for the U.S. and the deaths of innocent civilians in the hope of killing Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden is accused of masterminding an attack on the U.S. that killed 2,974 people of which approximately 2,105 were U.S. citizens. Obama wants to kill him and anyone around him, but does not want to punish George W. Bush who killed 4,300 Americans. The U.S. has been damned with too many big-gun, small-brain leaders. The U.S. appears to be run by fools and madmen acting arbitrarily rather than by a Constitution. It’s unclear where Obama stands.

5). HEALTHCARE Grade: F
The U.S. has the most expensive healthcare system in the world costing more than twice that of Switzerland, the second most expensive. Many Third World nations provide better healthcare. The primary goal of the U.S. healthcare system is to enrich executives and stockholders of the insurance, pharmaceutical and medical delivery corporations. Profits have priority over patients. The bloated healthcare corporations are rewarded for denying and not delivering adequate healthcare services. Healthcare is an embarrassing, festering wound exposing the bare attitudes of the rulers toward ordinary American people and the nation itself. Obama’s top priority is to insure the survival of those derelict, predatory, heartless corporations.

Obama has earned an overall grade of D-. He shows no sign of an ability to improve. He's on the way to failure, and will take the nation with him.

What's really happening in Iran!!

After the election, tens of thousand of people “spontaneously” poured into the streets, charging election fraud and demanding the leader and proclaimed “winner” of the election step down. Only that step would open the door to democracy, the protestors claimed.

Signs and posters were everywhere demanding the country begin functioning as a “normal” nation. The media, local and international, had immediate access to the historic events. Local media had detailed reports in their hands and knew exactly where the next center of confrontation would occur.

That election held on Sept. 24, 2000 was declared to be a defeat for Slobodon Milosevic, who challenged the results.. Masses of people poured into the streets, and on Oct. 6, 12 days later, Milosevic was forced to step down.

I have been involved in organizing protests. Usually, nine months or more are needed to prepare. A well-funded protest could be put together more quickly. In the case of Yugoslavia, both conditions existed. The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a CIA front group, masterminded the entire event. It had unlimited money. It works diligently in many nations in anticipation of some event, preferably an election, that can be declared fraudulent, criminal or undemocratic. Create the appearance of national outrage and it’s easy to stampede hypocritical nations and media morons into demanding a regime change.

NED had more than nine months to prepare its “spontaneous” uprising in Yugoslavia. It had funded local groups and international media to carry its message when the opportune time came.

In Iran, there were “well-funded” rallies during the days leading up to the election in June 2009. Immediately after the elections, declarations of fraud emitted almost simultaneously from numerous corners of the nation. Thousands of people spontaneously poured into the streets bearing sophisticated banners and placards, campaign colors of the candidate the U.S. preferred and thousands of signs, many written in English.

Like the uprising in Yugoslavia and others in several other nations--Russia, Venezuela, Ukraine, Georgia, Haiti--since the founding of NED in 1983, these movements were carefully orchestrated and well funded by expert hands in the employ of sovereignty- and democracy-hating elements in the U.S.

Is Nothing Sacred Anymore?

Over the past eight years, our government spied on us in defiance of the 4th Amendment. Our government detained people without due process or Grand Jury indictment subverting the 5th Amendment and precautions against government excesses and intrusions. Our government denied the guarantees of the 6th Amendment to a speedy and public trial. Our government inflicted cruel and unusual punishment in contravention of the 8th Amendment.

Our government took us into two wars without bothering to get a declaration of war from Congress as required by Article I of the Constitution. Our Supreme Court intervened in a local election subverting the democratic process in violation of Article III of the Constitution. Our president betrayed his oath of office to “ . . .preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” as required by Article II of the Constitution.

Just when it appeared that our government holds all of our Constitutions, treaties, traditions, rights and values in disregard or outright contempt, we are told that there is a sacred, inviolate, binding rule. That revered right is the “Contract.” It doesn’t matter how unjust a contract is or whom it harms, it must be honored our politicians tell us with a mixed air of self-righteousness and helplessness. So when incompetent, corrupt financiers driven by greed and gluttony gambled with the fate of our economy and lost, they made sure they had contracted large rewards for themselves even if their actions resulted in huge failures including the possible destruction of America as we know it. Our “law-makers” respond that they are powerless to reverse or limit those contracts. Our politicians can tear up the Constitution, defy international treaties and torture and murder innocent people, but they can’t violate a contract?

What if Congress had not been spooked and stampeded, betraying its fiduciary duties, into giving hundreds of billions of our dollars, no strings attached, to greedy, gluttonous, irresponsible financial institutions? How would those institutions have met their sacred, contractual obligations to pay promised, unconditional bonuses to their most highly-paid employees?

What made the United States unique and great was its attempt to make a constitution, not a monarchy, nobility or banking oligarchy, supreme. We’re not there yet. So far, the United States boils down to two qualities: the right to make a profit and the sanctity of the contract.

Obama Can't Investigate Bush

An investigation of the crimes of the Bush Administration would expose the decay that permeates the entire U.S. system. The rot pervades the political, economic, social and cultural institutions.

Currently, the Republican philosophy is the dominant U.S. philosophy. The Democrat Party exists solely to provide the illusion of choice. Essentially, the U.S. has a one-party political system. The two parties vary no more than a coat change in the middle of winter.

If one of the primary parties is destroyed, Americans might demand a second party. That second party could actually challenge the current structure, which is no different than a feudal noble-peasant system. Today, a few Americans enjoy exorbitant wealth and privilege, while the rest live in destitution or on the brink of it and one step away from incarceration. One arbitrary decision by a corporate executive or other member of the ruling class could dump any peasant into poverty.

The current political balance is praised by neo-conservatives as “The End of History.” Margaret Thatcher made “TINA” a frequent element in her speeches. “TINA” is the acronym for “There is no alternative,” a phrase authored by neo-conservative Francis Fukuyama in his book “The End of History.” Thatcher and Ronald Reagan were convinced that the natural instincts and behaviors of people meshed with the capitalist economic system creating a harmony with security and order.

To get the people to accept a wealthy and privileged class, it is necessary to create a diversion. The two party illusion controls the debate so critical to the preservation of their system. The two parties confront each other over trivial and insignificant matters to divert attention from critical issues. The media are a critical part of the conspiracy. For instance, George Bush said Saddam Hussein expelled the weapons inspectors in 1998. In reality, they left after President Clinton warned them that the U.S. and U.K. were planning a massive strike against Iraq. Neither the “opposition party” nor the media corrected this well-documented lie that was one of the justifications for the invasion in March 2003. The public had forgotten the event and trusted those other sources to inform them of any contradictions.

If our political system were like a shack on four stilts, two of those stilts have been removed by Bush and Cheney. Prosecution of Bush and his officials for their numerous hideous crimes, treachery, subversion and treason, would destabilize a third stilt and the whole structure would collapse.

In America, subverting the Constitution and committing genocide is excusable. Fondling an intern is not.

Republican Seasonal Values

Most Republican values are in a constant state of flux. Two, their love of money and war, are exceptions.

Now that Rush Limbaugh is the face of the Republican Party, we can identify the values currently changing. Rush is thrice divorced, so family values are fading and out of season. Rush is a drug abuser and addict. That means zero tolerance for crime no longer is a Republican value. Now there seems to be no crime so horrible, hideous or unpatriotic that Republicans won’t forgive it—depending on the perpetrator, of course. George W. Bush committed treason, subversion, aggression and genocide. He plundered trillions of dollars from the treasury and bankrupted the country, possibly destroying it. He turned soldiers into murderers and gunslingers for Halliburton and Exxon-Mobil. Thousands of them went to early graves because of Bush’s machinations, fabrications and deceptions. Tens of thousands more will spend the rest of their lives mutilated and begging for help from their indifferent government.

In 1993-94, Limbaugh constantly warned the nation that Bill Clinton’s massive tax increases on the wealthy would bankrupt and destroy the nation. Limbaugh had particular concern for workers at yacht building companies due to increased excise taxes. Limbaugh claimed Clinton’s tax increases were the largest in U.S. history. That claim was false, of course. Limbaugh’s predictions of economic Armageddon also proved to be off the mark. When Clinton took office, the stock market Dow-Jones index was at $3,000. When Clinton left office, it was at $11,700, a 400 percent increase. Clinton balanced the budget four out of eight years. That was the first time the U.S. budget was balanced since Lyndon Johnson’s last term. Limbaugh proved that economics is a field about which he is clueless.

In fact, there seems to be no field in which Limbaugh is versed except propaganda. He is a genius at brainwashing for that segment of society whose minds are controlled by their reptilian brain stem.

Republican values are changing at mach speeds. The old ones, even the ones they actually believed, are bankrupt. They lack credibility even among some of the most dim-witted religious fanatics and rednecks that are the remaining foundation of the Party.

Even Ronald Reagan, the God of the Party, is eroding in stature. For nearly three decades, Republicans claimed “The Gipper” proved that deficits didn’t matter. Reagan said that “Deficits are just money we owe to ourselves.” Suddenly, Republicans believe deficits do have consequences. Has Reagan lost his place on Mt. Rushmore? Reagan, like any other Republican value, soon will be out of season.

Wealth Logjam

The current economic recovery plan does not address the problem and will not cure it. The problem is wealth concentration at the top logjamming economic movement. A massive transfer of wealth is necessary. The log jam is deadlocked. The wealthy will not part with their money to help others, save the nation or even to save their own children. They will cling to their wealth more tenaciosly than to their own lives. Wealth will need to be pried from their cold, dead fingers.

The American people are the most brainwashed people in the world and incapable of grasping reality. They subscribe to the group fantasies and will not consider alternatives. Their nation is the dominant nation, therefore it must be doing something right, they reason.

The US is not likely to recover it's former dominance. That is best for civilization, the world and the US.

Supreme punishment

As the United States struggles under another economic collapse, many citizens weigh the possibility of trying Socialism. The latest attempt at Capitalism modified this time by Milton Friedman’s “monetarism” failed disastrously. Taxpayers will pay trillions of dollars to save the primitive and self-destructive system.

Is Socialism an option? Capitalists would argue that Socialism is a failed economic system, and that it leads to dictatorship as it did in the former Soviet Union. Both responses are wrong, illogical and reflect ignorance of Socialism. The biggest question is: “Are Americans evolved enough to live under Socialism?”

Socialism requires a humanitarian and altruism level far above that of most Americans. Americans today function as Social Darwinists driven by the laws of the jungle. U.S. citizens would need several centuries of evolution before they could function successfully as socialists. That higher level could be accelerated if the U.S. suffered some monumental catastrophe and suffering like the two world wars that Europe experienced. Those wars jolted most European nations out of their goon and thug personalities and rendered them more humane. The United Kingdom, formerly Great Britain, missed the brunt of the war and lags in evolution, but is far ahead of the United States that had no attacks on its soil during those wars.

European nations were able to conquer and colonize most of the world because Europeans were more brutal than anyone else. Coming from the Caucuses Mountains in the Middle East and surviving in the cold, cruel, demanding environment of Europe eliminated all but the most brutish souls. Only the meanest of those savages survived and reproduced. When they discovered something new such as Chinese fireworks, their first reaction was “Can I weaponize this and use it to kill more people?” That the U.S. was the only nation sick and twisted enough to use nuclear weapons to incinerate and radiate women, children and babies was in character with Europeans and their descendents. It’s also not surprising that, during the Cold War, the U.S. was prepared to annihilate life on earth. Only a white male who could convince the American public that he was willing to annihilate life on earth could get elected president. In other words, only an insane person could become president of the U.S. from 1945 to 1991. The only reason there is life on earth today is that the Soviet Union never allowed a Ronald Reagan type person to become leader of the Communist Party.

The U.S. finds itself in a state of limbo drawn irresistibly to the animal world of soulless Capitalism with its selfishness, brutality and bloodthirstiness but needing some degree of Socialism and mass cooperation to survive. In addition, Capitalism can survive only if it has a huge army of brutal, bloodthirsty soldiers to invade nations, kill their people and take their valuable resources. The U.S. produces plenty of mindless young men who are willing to give their lives for corporations such as Halliburton, Bechtel and United Fruit Company just for an opportunity to murder someone. Capitalism produces monsters and monsters need a system like Capitalism as an outlet for their animal urges, rages and behaviors.

Jungle brain

People entered this world one of two ways: they evolved from the jungle, or they escaped from the jungle. Unfortunately, the escapees far outnumber those who evolved. The ratio is about nine to one.

The brain of the escapee is controlled by the amygdala. This “jungle brain,” the small almond-sized growth on top of the brain stem, is the first to receive information from the five senses. It is the gatekeeper that controls information flow into the analytical or cognitive sector of the brain.

Jungle instincts, including what we call “gut feelings,” are the result of 600 million years of evolution. They are deeply ingrained and not easily changed. They are the same instincts animals from ants to antelopes have. They generate a powerful urge to form into colonies or herds. They want an alpha leader they can follow obediently and without question. They want a distinct hierarchy and accept their place in it.

Any challenge to the order is considered to be a threat to herd cohesion and the survival of the herd, colony or tribe. Challenges are dealt with harshly. At the human level, these rebels are given labels such as subversives, fifth-columnists or traitors and are deeply reviled. Punishing or even killing them is widely accepted.

Cognitive sector usurpation of the jungle brain information flow function is extremely difficult and rare. Only when that happens can a person have a soul or conscience.

The Roland Burris fiasco reminded us that Harry Reid and the Democrats might not be the criminal, subversive, traitorous sociopaths the Republicans are, but they are just as oblivious and incompetent.

The attempt to convince the public that there are standards for members of the Senate proved to be ludicrous. The buffoons, who were fooled again and again and again by a retarded Texan into approving a criminal war of aggression, funding the decimation of a nation, abrogating our rights and plundering our treasury, set a very low bar for Senator qualifications. Now they tell us they are capable of solving the problem they helped create.

Those senators who were so quick to condemn a person who had not been convicted were subversive in their failure to abide by the Constitution and honor their oaths when they not only failed to remove the most criminal president in our history but abetted and funded his crimes. Those petty minds can grasp something minor and insignificant, but not massive crimes against humanity and civilization. As Joseph Stalin said, “Kill a man, it’s murder. Kill a million, it’s a mere statistic.”

The danger is not that Roland Burris is unfit for the Senate. Judging by those serving now, no one can be unfit. The danger is that Burris will be corrupted like all the others with the possible exceptions of Russ Feingold and Barbara Boxer.

Burris can’t degrade the Senate, but it can corrupt him. Let’s hope he introduces ethics and principles to that decayed, corrupt body.

The Capitulation Party

In 2001, the Republicans trotted out a bill they called the PATRIOT Act. They screamed that the sky is falling and we all were going to die unless the bill was approved immediately. The bill took away many of our rights and freedoms. The only danger was politicians unfit to be in office in a democratic nation.

In 2003, the Republicans claimed they had proof that an attack by Saddam Hussein using nuclear weapons was imminent, and if the Congress did not immediately approve the preemptive invasion of Iraq we all were going to die. Congress approved it overwhelmingly. There was no attack forthcoming from Iraq. There wasn't any danger except from our unfit politicians who sent 4230 military personnel to needless, senseless deaths and squandered hundreds of billions of tax dollars.

Now the Republicans have trotted out another scam and the Democrats are falling for it again. The Democrats will hold show hearings and act stern. Then they will capitulate again. There’s and old saying:

Fool me once,
Shame on you.

Shame on me.
Fool me thrice,
A fool I’ll always be.

A government of fools is a blachocracy, not a democracy.

There is a simple formula for unleashing that Nazi, Goering said. Bush's people knew and took advantage of that formula and proved that Americans can be Nazis as good as the Germans, Italians and British.

Bush more closely resembles Stalin. He even borrowed Stalin's term "sleeper cells." In addition, Bush committed mass murder of over one million people and the mutilation of nearly five million more including tens of thousands of Americans. Bush committed treason, subversion, looted the treasury of over $5 trillion, tortured, disappeared people, erected a gulag of secret prisons, suspended the Bill of Rights, launched fraudulent wars of aggression, spied on his own citizens, rigged elections and perpetrated rampant fraud and deception,

Americans brag about their leadership in enlightened ideals such as rights, freedom and democracy, but few actually believe in those values and even less practice them. The U.S. has never had a justice system. It has a legal system. It has a corrupt, bigoted, racist, biased legal system, but it has never had a justice system. Consequently, George W. Bush and his accomplices will never spend a day in jail. They almost certainly will not even go to trial. The U.S. hanged dozens of Germans and Japanese for just a few of the crimes like those Bush committed, but will not hold their own president to those standards. The closest Bush will come to punishment for his hideous crime and terror spree will be a couple shoes thrown at him.

Americans never saw anything wrong with what the Nazis did. They only sought animal revenge and justified it by pretending to believe in higher values. We need a New-World Nuremberg to plant the seeds of justice in America. Or we could just extradite Bush and his accomplices to Iraq for trial.

No Special Election in Illinois

The Illinois Republican Party is saturating the airways with commercials urging Illinois citizens to demand a special election to select Barak Obama’s replacement in the U.S. Senate.

A special election is a bad idea. Since I voted for Ralph Nader and the Green Party where I could in the last election, I think I am objective in my opinion. Governor Blagojevich has not been convicted, so it is his legal obligation to select the replacement. The charges against him are questionable coming from a Justice Department that has been politicized and corrupted. The timing alone should raise numerous red flags.

Blagojevich will be the third Democratic governor targeted by the Bush Administration. Don Siegleman, governor of Alabama was charged, removed from office and sent to jail on what now appears to be fraudulent evidence. Eliot Spitzer, governor of New York, was embarrassed into stepping down on a charge of hiring a prostitute. If every politician who has committed adultery had to step down, the House and Senate would be unable to form quorums. Both members of the Republican team for president and vice president in 2008 would be disqualified.

If a special election is held, the Republicans will be able to concentrate their election rigging and fixing expertise on Illinois and have a good chance of winning. The 1920s and the past eight years are evidence of the damage Republicans can do to this nation. The worst thing we can do is to follow the advice of the Illinois Republican Party or accept accusations made by the national Republican establishment. The Iraq War shows how disconnected from reality members of that party are.

Three Plagues Destroying America

As Americans watch their world power and respect slip away, they will have plenty of periods of idleness to ponder what happened. I, and many others, have predicted this early final period of the American Empire. We foresaw the “New American Century” deflating into the American decade.

I see the convergence of three primary inflictions. First is the Ronald Reagan resurrection of the failed 1920’s economic and political theories. They are failing this time also, inflicting a terminal cancer on the U.S.

Secondly, there’s the bloodless coup of 2000 that replaced the healthy heart of the U.S. with a defective one that inflicted cardiac disease on the U.S.

Finally, there is the attack by outside elements on September 11, 2001 that inflicted a mosquito bite on the nation. This resulted in an overreaction by leaders of limited ability, who knew only force as a tool in international relations. Their disproportionate response inflicted anaphylactic shock on the nation.

A mysterious, millionaire, religious fanatic on the other side of the world calculated that he had the power to bring down a world empire. He claimed credit for destroying the Soviet Empire during its involvement in Afghanistan, and felt he understood the minds of American leaders sufficiently to provoke them into destroying themselves also.

It was the mosquito bite delivered by Osama bin Laden that pushed the arrogant empire over the edge decades before its natural life span was reached. His God seems to be more powerful than George Bush’s God.

The demise of the American Empire should usher in a higher level of civilization. The United States has been emblematic of slavery throughout its entire existence. First it practiced Negro and indentured servant slavery. Next was wage slavery. Today is sweatshop slavery. All are despicable practices unworthy of enlightened people. The world should be a better place when both are gone.

One Last Scam: a September Surprise

Neo-Conservatives believe 90% of the American people function at a three-year-old mental, moral and maturity level. They talk about “perception management,” which, in the right hands (theirs), can convince most people of anything, but, most importantly they claim, insures an orderly, stable society. They rigged the 2000 elections and, with the help of five ambulance chasers, put a retarded Texan, their figurehead leader, in the White House.

Next, many Americans believe, the Neo-Cons engineered the WTO attacks scam. Then they got Congress to pass the PATRIOT Act, which subverted the Constitution and eliminated many rights and freedoms and introduced proto-Stalinism to America. After that, they trumped up false charges to justify an invasion of a small nation that was no threat to the U.S. Then they rigged another election with the help of Diebold one-arm bandit machines slightly modified to miscount votes.

The media never caught on to the Neo-Con shenanigans, or were complicit in them. The Democratic Party, timid in the best of times, remained oblivious, if not cowering in fear.

So, why wouldn’t the Neo-Cons try one last scam, a “September surprise,” when they have only four months left to loot a nation of pathetic, oblivious people? Election rigging was primitive, but the bank bailout is absolutely ingenious. The Neo-Cons are proving their brilliance with the bank bailout scheme, and the payoff will be huge.

The Neo-Cons and their co-conspirators created the banking crisis then claimed to be the experts needed to fix it. They offered an absurd remedy. Then they said the Democrats or anyone else who refused to support it would be responsible for any economic collapse. This is enthymematic argumentation. Cause and effect are not related, but claims to be. The economic collapse is certain no matter what they do. The landslide has started and the Neo-Cons are claiming that building a barrier wall on the other side of the mountain will stop the calamity.

This will be the biggest heist in history. What’s more, it will have the complicity of the victims. It will confirm Neo-Con theories about the intelligence of the average American and that 90%, and closer to 100% of Democratic Party members, can be manipulated.

The Democrats, with a couple exceptions such as Jim McDermont, don’t have a clue that they are being suckered again.

Bill Ayers is a Patriot, John McCain is a Jingo

As a veteran of the Vietnam War and an anti-war activist after I was honorably discharged, I have a hands-on insight into the motives and actions of both sides of that conflict. The Vietnam War, like the current Iraq War, defines the United States. Bill Ayers and John McCain are examples of the two extremes.

On the positive side, the United States was the first nation to implement the values, ideals and principles of the Enlightenment. Foremost among those principles is that the law, not the monarch, is sovereign. In enlightened nations, this is called patriotism. At the other end is 600 million years of evolution that tell us to form into a herd and blindly and mindlessly follow the herd alpha leaders. This is jingoism and is one of our most powerful animal instincts.

The Constitution requires the Congress to draw up articles of war and pass them before a legal state of war exists. That was not done for the Vietnam or Iraq conflicts. Both wars were illegal. Both were criminal. Like all military personnel, John McCain took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. By flying missions in a foreign land and killing people and destroying their property, he was in violation of his oath, the Constitution and international laws.

Ayers’ position was not as clear. As a member of the Weather Underground, he was breaking minor laws by bombing buildings in order to halt hideous crimes against humanity and genocide orchestrated by his government. The government no longer represented the laws or enlightened ideals. It acted lawlessly. It became a rogue state. In a democracy, the people are obligated to intervene. Thomas Jefferson anticipated this crisis and said the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with blood.

Our animal instincts tell us that threatening the cohesion of the herd is the worst possible threat, far worse than committing genocide or aggression. Since the jingoes far outnumber the patriots in the U.S., Bill Ayers is considered a criminal, and John McCain is viewed as a hero.

Healthcare Executives Deserve Exorbitant Compensations

Profiting from someone's distress or pain is the ultimate capitalist enterprise. Rivers of gold can be mined if done properly. Healthcare executives are true masters of gold mining. Relieving pain and suffering is not their strong suit. In a nation of brainwashed people, altruism is an obstacle to those who never have enough money.

Enlightened vs. Evil

Societies are broken down into the evil, about two percent, the enlightened, about 13%, and the mindless masses, about 85%. The evil element constantly battles the enlightened element of society for the loyalty of the mindless masses. Although smaller in numbers, the evil element has the advantage. The evil element is closer in nature to the masses. It represents the fears and selfish desires most dominant among members of the masses. Only when evil discredits itself horribly or causes excessive injury to society can the enlightened become an appealing alternative for the masses.

Currently, the U.S. is at one of these crossroads. The nation is in the hands of evil rulers. The Republican Party is its Sheriff of Nottingham. The Democrats, however, are not Robin Hood. The Democrats are an illusion of an alternative, of a separate form of government. The Democrats also are servants of the rulers, the evil segment, not the enlightened element nor the mindless masses. This condition is what Francis Fukuyama praised in his book “The End of History.” There is no alternative,” he argued. This is the glue that best holds society together. It is the formula that combines society’s animal and human natures into a functioning, stable nation and region. It does not meet most enlightened ideals, but it does seem to be the most practical for the stage of evolution humans now occupy, the Neo-Conservatives believe. The enlightened element believes the majority of the masses can become enlightened if it has the correct information and the brain is functioining in a healthy manner.

Neither candidate of the two major parties meets my minimum criteria for the presidency. Obama voted on the FISA Act gutting the Fourth Amendment, and his saber rattling toward Iran and Pakistan indicates that he also lacks the moral, political and diplomatic sophistication necessary for a third millennium leader.

With the U.S. facing a crisis that could equal the Great Depression or the Civil War, a Franklin Delano Roosevelt is needed, and the Democrats are offering us another Jimmy Carter. An Abraham Lincoln is needed, and the Republicans are offering us another George W. Bush.

We have 21st Century weapons in the hands of 1st Century men. The world can’t survive leaders and rulers who are unwise and uncivilized. The U.S. needs leaders whose top priority is to care for the people, not scare the people. Those leaders are rare, but they are there. Unfortunately, few can be found in our government today.

John McCain sees the world through a rearview mirror. His solutions exist only in the trash heap of history. We are in this predicament because Ronald Reagan, another rearview mirror politician, resurrected the failed trickle-down economics of the 1920s and claimed he could make them work this time. He couldn’t. They didn’t.

McCain, like Bush, is a single-talent man. Bush is willing to strike out mercilessly and violently with no remorse against enemies and perceived enemies and their innocent families, friends and neighbors. This type of person sees the president’s role as dictator, not mediator.

Barak Obama wouldn’t be where he is today if he had innovative ideas. He got where he is by playing the game better than his corrupt and incompetent competitors. He has more potential to be a Lincoln or Roosevelt than McCain does, but has yet to show any sign of exceptional wisdom.

Impeachment is a joke

On June 9, 2008, Ohio representative Dennis Kucinich introduced Articles of Impeachment calling for the removal of George W. Bush from office. Kucinich defined 35 articles, each far more serious than the articles on which Bill Clinton was impeached.

Bill Clinton was impeached for fondling a young lady who initiated the tryst. For Republicans and 85% of Americans, sex, even when consensual, is a more serious breach of American values than subverting and shredding the Constitution. The forgiving side of Republicans permits them to pardon the same actions by members of their own party. Arnold Schwartzenegger has a boob groping addiction that is juvenile and psychotic. That means Arnold is a typical hypocritical Republican.

The problem is that 85% of Americans lack the political and intellectual sophistication to govern a nation. Americans are not yet evolved sufficiently for democracy, nor for the third millennium. That American barbarians are the most armed nation presents a serious threat to the world.

The U.S. political system was flawed from the beginning. It was a compromise that its more civilized creators believed would be revised in the near future. That didn’t happen. The founders distrusted democracy. They preferred an oligarchy of white male landowners. They included cumbersome safety valves to ensure the rabble did not take power.

Tangentially to the unsophisticated electorate is the lapse into a two-party system. In reality, the two parties are like the Roman God Janus. They are two faces sharing and concealing the same head.

The Republican crime spree, including subversion of the Constitution and contempt for international law and human decency is more serious than a billion fondling incidents. Yet the American electorate and supposedly opposition party have no stomach for challenging crimes of this magnitude.

The 85% group, the rabble, has a tribal mindset. The next 2%, the rulers, has an absence of mindset. The remaining 13%, the righteous few, has a global mindset. This composition can’t govern itself with competency, integrity and morality. The result is a rogue state devoid of values and principles.

If a leader is unaccountable, that leader is not a president. That leader is a monarch, dictator, autocrat or totalitarian.

A parliament or legislature does not hold a leader accountable when it fears the leader or does not oppose the leader’s arbitrary actions. George W. Bush is responsible for more than a million deaths, including the needless, senseless deaths of more than 4,000 Americans, making him the world’s worst criminal since Richard Nixon. Since he won’t spend a day in jail, he is not a citizen of a civilized nation or a nation with a functioning justice system. Bush can and did commit crimes of treason, subversion, theft of tax dollars and genocide. This could happen only in a nation of savages.

The Republican Malthusians

At this time, the U.S. national debt is 9.35 trillion dollars on paper. That would buy a new house for every American family. In reality, the debt is far higher and obligations will increase it far more. American families did not get those houses, but they did get the mortgages, which they must repay with interest. Since they can’t pay the mortgages, they will pass the obligations on to their children. In effect, this is reverse inheritance.

The debt is the product of Republican voodoo economics. In 1981, Ronald Reagan resumed the failed economic policies that plunged the U.S. into the Great Depression of the 1930s. Reagan infused the failed policy with massive borrowing. The borrowing gave the initial impression of prosperity, just as a person who charges all of his credit cards to the hilt will appear to be very prosperous for a short time.

Reagan inherited a debt of less than $1,000,000,000,000. He left a $3,000,000,000,000 debt. George H. W. Bush and his son continued the disastrous economic practices. The latter holds the record with four trillion additional debt.

Republicans are robbing their children and grandchildren with no sign of remorse. Their immense greed and gluttony fogs their minds to the damage they are doing. They show no sign of a troubled conscience. Their guru appears to be Thomas Malthus, the 18th and 19th Century mathematician who proposed a solution to the looming food shortage problem today’s Republicans would love. Population was outstripping food production, so Malthus proposed they eat their children as the remedy. Today’s Republicans would devour, or sell, their own children for a new swimming pool, a pleasure boat, or even a new car. Unfortunately, they are doing far more damage to their babies, born and unborn.

Barbaric, predatory healthcare system

Refilling a prescription is nearly an insurmountable obstacle for the world’s most expensive healthcare system

I attempted to refill a prescription recently. The prescription service told me the refills were on the way. It was unusual for them to initiate a contact. Then I received a letter from an entirely different company saying I did not qualify for the prescription service I had been using for several years. They gave no specific reason. I called the original company. They didn’t know if I no longer qualified, and referred me to a third company. My wife has the same healthcare insurance provider and the same prescription service. Her prescriptions were refilled.

In the meantime, my supply of pills was nearly exhausted. I need them to avoid seizures and other problems. Apparently I was caught in a Kafkaesque bureaucratic maze. I had the misfortune of requesting refills just as one corporation was devouring another corporation and those two were then devoured by a third corporation.

During these feeding frenzies, CEO’s and other corporate executives congratulate each other and award each other massive bonuses for improving efficiency (see the book Barbarians at the Gate.) Meanwhile the company is left stripped of its flesh as cleanly as a fish in a school of piranhas.

The U.S. healthcare system is tailored for the free market. In other words, profits are everything, patients are nothing. Our healthcare dollars are split among exorbitant salaries for executives, high dividends for people who do nothing but sit on their asses all day, layer upon layer of bureaucratic filters to squeeze every possible penny out of healthcare premiums, advertisements to convince the unwary to buy snake-oil products, hire lobbyists, pay bribes to corrupt politicians and build voodoo factories to give the impression that they want to find cures for ailments and diseases. At best, we get about 25 cents of healthcare for each dollar we pay into the system.

In the industrialized world, the U.S. healthcare system is unique. No other nation is cruel enough to allow a few to profit so much from the misfortune and misery of so many. That predatory system could not exist in a democracy or a civilized nation.

The Bush Loser Administration

Enlightened people around the world have known for decades that the United States is a nation of cruel, barbaric goons and thugs. George W. Bush has removed any doubt for the remaining citizens of the world.

Bush is a loser in every sense of the word. He never won a national election. He stole those. He lost respect for the U.S. He lost billions of dollars from the U.S. Treasury. He lost millions of e-mails. He is losing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which morally should be lost.

Bush's blunders no doubt will be the final nails in the coffin of the U.S. Empire. That Empire is the last of the brutal, bloodthirsty 2nd Millennium Reichs.

Vice President Dick Cheney visited Saudi Arabia in April, 2008. One of the major issues discussed, allegedly, was how to deal with nuclear fallout.

Former high-level government officials including Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter feel certain that the Bush Administration, and Dick Cheney in particular, intend to strike Iran with nuclear weapons.

The Bush Administration recently removed Admiral William J. Fallon from command at CentCom, which oversees the U.S. military in the Middle East. Fallon said last year that there would be no attack on Iran under his command. The sycophant David Petraeus replaced Fallon.

It appears that the only question is the time of the attack. Actually, there are multiple questions, but none the dim-witted members of the Bush Administration are capable of answering or dealing with. What will Russia do? Will Iran annihilate the Green Zone in Iraq? What will China do? Will the Iranians cut off enough oil supply that the world will sink in to a massive depression unleashing chaos?

Will Bush copy his father’s tactic in Somalia and attack immediately after the election that ends his presidency?

Bush and Cheney may conclude that there are enough lizard-brain Americans around who can be frightened again into forming into a herd and stampeding into another fiasco that an attack on Iran would lead to another Republican presidential victory in November.

If an attack occurs, the Democrats are culpable. The Democrats can stop funding to the Pentagon. They have been able to do that since Jan. 2007. Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution states that “All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives: . . .” Democrats have their greatest majority in the House of Representatives. They have the power to stop any funding and have failed to do so falsely claiming their hands are tied by the presidential veto.

Both parties are criminal, negligent, corrupt and treasonous. Both are unfit to rule a civilized nation.

Wright is right

I was disappointed when I heard Senator Obama denounce Reverend Jeremiah Wright. It’s a test of character when a person is asked to defend a minority race or minority opinion.

Al Sharpton was correct when he stated that Pastor Wright’s comments were “totally distorted.” Rev. Wright is frustrated, as am I and other righteous Americans, that his nation roams the world killing and extorting, and no one can or will stop it. The people and the Congress lack the moral sophistication and will to know and do the right thing. International institutions know the wrath of the U.S. includes scorched earth policies and annihilation of life on earth as was the policy during the Cold War. It appears that invoking God’s intervention is the only hope for stopping the world’s worst rogue state. Rev. Wright looks at the senseless, baseless war in Iraq, the death of over one million people, mutilation of millions more and the displacement of more millions and sees a hideous crime. The average American sees only bad judgment, a misdirection of tax dollars or the latest “–ism” phantom to fear.

In a similar situation during the Vietnam War, in which I served, the U.S. killed three million people for no valid reason using the most hideous WMDs available. Martin Luther King said: “ . . . the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today [is] my own government.”

The ability to analyze a political situation objectively and morally is limited to a handful of truly righteous Americans such as King and Wright. Morally confused people looked at the 3,000 deaths on Sept. 11, 2001 and the 3,000,000 deaths during the Vietnam War and concluded that the Sept. 11th deaths were the more reprehensible. Psychologists call this ethical confusion “cognitive dissonance.” It’s the result of the powerful herd instinct to remain loyal to one’s own group no matter how barbaric its members act.

The 18th Century Enlightenment strived to elevate us above the herd, but the “peer pressure” of the group proved to be too powerful. America was founded on those Enlightenment principles and ideals and was a beacon of nobility to the world. The Declaration of Independence was the pinnacle of American greatness. The animal natures dominated and the U.S. has been clawing its way back to the 17th Century ever since.

Only a disappointingly few Americans are able to recognize the evil in themselves, rise above the herd and practice this nation’s ideals. That’s true patriotism. Those few face enormous pressure from the primitive rabble of jingoists. Torture, aggression, disappearances, secret prisons, spying on everyone, denial of rights, rigging elections and indiscriminate killing are characteristics of pre-Enlightenment people.

Rev. Wright is right, righteous, Enlightened and patriotic. He doesn’t abide by the rules of the herd. He is someone to distrust, to fear. He advocates ideas alien to the herd and does not follow obediently. Like Jesus and Martin Luther King, he must be stripped of his power or eliminated.

Judging the candidates, 2008

The 2008 election presents the clearest opportunity in decades to judge the candidates. Not since the Civil War has the nation reflected such sharp contrasts of good and evil, right and wrong, barbarism and civilization. Unfortunately, the evil, wrong and barbaric side still has the largest number of adherents.

Three simple tests can identify which side the candidates occupy. For the sake of simplicity, I have named the evil, wrong and barbaric side Tribalists. The good, right and civilized side is the Universalists. The tests are: moral, patriotic and humane.

The moral test is one issue, the Iraq War. The Iraq War is no different than Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1939. Hitler used the same excuses including a military threat of invasion by a vastly weaker nation and the need for a preemptive strike. Tribalists mindlessly and baselessly unite behind their leaders and stampede in whichever direction the leaders direct them to go. Nearly 90% of Americans responded to the tribalist instincts. That included all of the candidates except Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and Micke Gravel. The latter three are capable of functioning at a cognitive, analytical, civilized Universalist level. Even Mike Huckabee, who is a Baptist minister, demonstrated that the pagan side of Christianity dominates his actions and beliefs.

Hilary Clinton said she trusted George Bush when he stated that Congress’s authority to go to war was just a bargaining chip that he would use only as a last resort. That is a valid argument except that Bush rigged the election and subverted the Constitution to get into office. Why would she believe a documented liar against the contrary claims of the weapons inspectors? In addition, once all the lies had been exposed, she said that knowing what she knew then she still would have supported the invasion. Only recently has she come out against the war. That is a long, steep leaning curve. We don’t need another trainee in the White House.

Barak Obama claims he opposed the war in Iraq. However, he voted for the funding which makes him complicit in the murders of nearly one million Iraqis and nearly 4,000 American soldiers. Obama also stated that he would take unilateral action and invade Pakistan to capture or kill Osama bin Laden if he had good intelligence about his location. Bush has lied about everything else. It’s naive to believe Bush’s account of 9/11 and its perpetrators. Also, Obama doesn’t seem to know or care about the alleged motives for the 9/11 attack.

The second test is patriotism. What is great and unique about the United States is that it was the only 18th Century nation founded on the supremacy of ideals, principles and human equality and dignity. These are universal principles. All the other nations were based on the supremacy of an autocrat such as a king, queen or theocrat and, usually, a nobility or royal court or priesthood. Those who put high ideals first are Universalists and patriots. Those who follow their animal instincts to obey the alpha leader blindly are not patriots but jingoists. The jingoists use material symbols such as flags and practice rituals including pledges and martial music. They tell themselves these practices make them loyal and patriotic Americans. The true patriots are Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul and Mike Gravel. It’s all but impossible for a conservative to be patriotic. Their strongest loyalties are to the herd. That’s why they vote lock-step with their party to which they are more loyal than to their larger, more nebulous nation. The herd instinct dictates that the bigger the entity, the weaker the loyalty

The final test is humanity. This test removes Ron Paul from the Universalist list. Here Ron Paul succumbs to the immoral philosophy advocated by the corporate capitalism economic system that everyone must look out for himself. Paul’s philosophy is called Libertarianism. Corporate capitalism always will be evil and unjust because it takes two of the deadly sins, greed and gluttony, and claims they are virtues. It also is inherently inhumane, undemocratic and deceptive. In reality, it is just a substitute for the old, primitive nobility.

Another test for humanity is the healthcare system. Every industrialized nation except the U.S. has a universal healthcare system. Just as the U.S. was the last first-world nation to ban slavery, it will be the last to institute a humane healthcare system. The U.S. healthcare system puts profits above people, the ruling and owning class above ordinary citizens. The top Democrats want universal healthcare with profits for the bloated healthcare industry that thrives and feeds on the misfortunes and misery of others. Only a single-payer system will put people first and be economically feasible. Only Kucinich and Gravel are advocates of humanity first.

Worst Cases of Treason and Subversion in U.S. History

George Bush became president by subverting the Constitution. Many of the actions of his administration are treasonous. For example, when he exposed CIA agent Valerie Plame, he committed the most insidious form of treason, in the words of his father George Herbert Walker Bush. Informants are the best and most crucial sources of intelligence. When the informant’s contact is exposed, the informant’s life and wellbeing are jeopardized. The potential informant is less likely to come forward. The entire intelligence structure and security of the nation suffers.

The bloodless coup of 2000 was a greater act of treason and subversion than the Civil War was. The Civil War was an attempt by one part of the nation to break away. The Bush revolution shredded the Constitution, defiled the unique American experience and disgraced the nation before a civilized world.

George Bush claims he is the decider. The Constitution says Congress is the decider or legislator. The president is the “executor” charged with carrying out or implementing Congress’s decisions and the statutes of the Constitution. The Constitution lists the duties of the Legislature first in Article I. The Executive duties and restrictions are listed in Article II. Bush either has no understanding of the Constitution or believes it is null and void.

The Founding Fathers anticipated the rise of people like George Bush, Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon to the presidency, so they created two other branches of government to rein in the excesses of potential tyrants. The other two branches of government have proven to be just as susceptible to corruption as is the presidency. Complete corruption of government has occurred far more often than the Founding Fathers anticipated. They did suspect it could happen. Many of them warned that their new idea of the supremacy of ideas, principles and values over kings, nobilities and theocrats was a “bold experiment.”

The Founding Fathers’ worst expectations turned out to be true. In the 20th Century alone, the entire system failed numerous times. Besides the Bush, Reagan and Nixon Administrations, there was McCarthyism and the Palmer Raids to name a few.

The U.S. system of government proved to be inherently corrupt. George Bush merely lifted the veneer and exposed the internal rot and decay. Bush and those around him have low estimates of the mental, moral and maturity level of the average American and believed it was safe to reveal the true political system. They proved to be right. Deep down, most Americans do not subscribe to the new idea that principles and values should be superior to authoritarian rulers. Most Americans are morally bankrupt. Most are incapable of concluding on their own that killing 1,000,000 people as happened in Iraq is evil and criminal. They can’t even deduce independently that unjustified mass murder of others is wrong. Most have minds dominated by the reptilian brain stem. No more than 15% of Americans have minds dominated by the cognitive brain sector, that sector capable of moral, human behavior. Most people have the potential for a human dominated mind, but the animal mind has by far the longest history on the evolutionary ladder and is instinctively dominant.

The Democratic Party holds the claim on the cognitive mind. How did they perform in this latest crisis? Abominably. Their response to the worst political crime in U.S. history was to declare it excusable. They want to ignore it just as they did the crimes of treason, subversion, drug-running and fiscal criminality by the Reagan Administration. They have reached the same conclusion about the intellectual and maturity level of the average American. The neo-conservatives, the far right wing of the Republican Party, have an analogy for the intellectual level of Americans. They like to say: you wouldn’t allow a three-year old to cross an intersection by himself. Most Americans appear to be content with their role as a three-year-old. The problem is that they are lethal to the rest of the world and unfit to be outside U.S. fences and cages. The Democrats’ disgraceful, contemptible, negligent behavior has demonstrated that they are more in agreement with the Republicans than with the Founding Fathers.

Very few can comprehend the magnitude of 1,000,000 murders. Few of those who can are in Congress. They can be counted on one hand. The Founding Fathers’ dream turned into an abysmal, disgraceful tragedy. As in the movie “Shot in the Dark” it turns out that everyone is guilty.

Stalin Adulation Parties on Dec. 18

On December 18, celebrations will take place across the United States. It’s the birthday of the man the Republican Party reveres most: Joseph Stalin. The Republican Party, led by mentally- and morally-challenged party stalwarts George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, has achieved, and in some cases, exceeded Stalin’s accomplishments. Today, the Republican Party can spy on almost everyone, and does. Stalin lacked the technology to equal his successors. The Republican gulag of secret prisons would make Stalin envious.

Brainwashing has been refined to the point that most people don’t have a clue that they have no thoughts of their own. The U.S. has been the leader in this science since World War I, but is modest about taking credit. Stalin didn’t really attempt to deceive his people. He just scared them into compliance and obedience with threats of pain or death.

Torture, kidnapping, denial of trials and legal representation were achieved by Stalin and his Republican successors. Both accomplished media monopoly. Stalin just made Pravda the sole provider of information. Izvestia provided the same information with the same slant. The Republican media monopoly gave the appearance of six competing sources. However, upon close inspection, their media monster merely was Pravda with six tenacles. The publlic hears the information from different directions, but it all comes from the same source. When Israel bombed Syria in the fall of 2007, all the media, in unison, reported that Israel "dropped ordinance" on Syria. When Israel invaded Lebanon in the Spring of 2007, the media, again in unison, reported that "Israel crossed the border into Lebanon." When the Republicans uncovered the worst crime of the 20th Century, Bill Clinton consensually fondling Monica Lewinsky, they had no choice but to impeach the miscreant. They selected Henry Hyde to oversee the investigation. The media in unison labled him "a senior Statesman." It turns out the the "senior statesman" from Illinois had had his own more than fondling affair with a married woman and was responsible for the breakup of a family of four. This ourstanding member of the Republican Party also was involved in the Savings and Loan Scandal which cost the American people at least $500 billion. As a board member of Clyde Federal Saving and Loan, he participated in the bank fraud unleashed nationwide by Ronald Reagan.

Stalin had more integrity than his U.S. counterparts, but otherwise, they are close to identical twins. His U.S. brothers love war killing innocent people more than Stalin did. Stalin, as commander in chief, let his nation to a victory over mighty Adolph Hitler. George Bush led his nation to quagmires in Afghanistan and Iraq. He did win a war against tiny Haiti, expelling the democratic government and installing a Stalin-style government in its place. It's difficult to judge who hated democracy and freedom most.

Bush and Chaney have one talent: destruction, They have one tool: force. Negotiation and bargaining are beyond their purview. They have as much chance of outwitting someone as a duck has of becoming the lead soprano in the Metropolitan Opera Company. They are able to outwit most Democratic politicians, however.

There are many models for ruthless destruction and force, but the Republicans borrowed the Stalin model. Their rabble followers will never figure out the contradiction between their words and deeds.

Will Democracy and Civilization ever take hold in the U.S.?

In the 18th Century, autocracies, monarchies, theocracies and oligarchies ruled the nations of the world. The general rule was: the rulers are everything, the peasants are nothing. There were a few exceptions. In the Northeast corner of what now is the United States, a matriarchy ruled a group of Native Americans known as the League of the Iroquois. Elder women met and made the decisions and rules for the tribes. The future of the people was central to their decisions. How will this affect the seventh generation, was a common test in decision-making.

Colonists began arriving from Europe and some observed the harmonious lives and institutions of the League of the Iroquois and saw that societies can function without kings and royalty. They decided that they could create a nation where ideals and principles, not kings or ruling classes, were supreme. This was the unique foundation of the United States of America.

The United States became a model for civilizing forces in the world. France quickly followed the U.S. example. As decades passed, more and more people demanded the supremacy of ideals.

Unfortunately, the supremacy of ideals was no match for the animal herd instincts instilled over millions of years of evolution. Ideals never set down deep roots in the U.S. Americans espoused democracy, justice and equality but never fully practiced them. The appeal of the alpha leader, the father figure, the autocrat, the authoritarian personality always prevailed in the end. The reflexive desires to demonize and fear the stranger and the strange, to huddle into a herd, to stampede, always overwhelmed the concepts of values, ideals and principles.

America always was ripe for Fascism. The U.S. would have joined the Fascist states in the 1930s except for the intervention of two enlightened people: Franklin Delano Roosevelt and General Smedley Butler.

As the world moves into the Third Millennium, the U.S. retreats deeper into the Second Millennium. The Iraq Wars of 1990 through the present were an acid test of true Americans. The 2.5 million deaths in Iraq, ten percent of the population, reveal that Americans are a savage, cruel, primitive people. It’s doubtful they ever will evolve into civilized citizens. Their animal natures lurk so close to the surface that they can be unleashed by a simple fabricated image. In the Iraq Wars, all the nation’s institutions betrayed the ideals of America. Only a handful of citizens, mostly government bureaucrats, saw or even tried to see the evil, criminal forces stampeding them into acts of reprehensible savagery. True patriots are precious few. Jingoists are abundant.

Americans condemn the use of weapons of mass destruction then use them themselves. They raise the alarm that the enemies are so barbaric they would use nuclear weapons. The U.S. is the only nation that ever used them and it frequently threatens to use them again. The hypocrisy uncloaks the two-dimensional mentality of the thugs that dominate U.S. policy and make up the majority of the citizenry.

Americans are unfit to hold power in the Third Millennium, but, like a plague, cancer or evil, they cling on tenaciously.

Russian’s recognize megalomaniacs. Megalomaniacs are drawn to Russian like a moth to a flame. Napoleon, Hitler and many others allowed the magnetism of the great nation to overwhelm their better sense, and marched to their doom.

Today Russia senses another megalomaniac prowling its borders like a hungry wolf scouting a herd of sheep. The latest predator is following the pattern of the last one. Hitler took over Czechoslovakia just as the new threat took control of Afghanistan. Hitler invaded Poland on the premise of a preemptive strike just as the new megalomaniac justified his invasion of Iraq. Hitler invaded France. The new predator plans to invade Iran. Then Hitler invaded Russia.

Russian president Vladimir Putin is preparing for the looming threat. He dissolved his government on Sept. 12, most likely to put trusted lieutenants in the highest government positions in this latest time of crisis. Russia announced that it has tested the “Father of all bombs.” It is a “vacuum” bomb with a destructive power greater than a nuclear weapon. It is a match for the “Mother of all bombs” produced recently by the U.S.

George Bush ignited the new cold war. Like his predecessors, he lacks the good sense to stop before it becomes a hot war. Will the FOAB dominate the MOAB? Will there be anyone left to judge?

Global Sense and Tribal Sense

Just when we think the world has become civilized, savages commit atrocities proving that our primitive natures still dominate most of us.

Several authors have addressed this problem recently. John Dean wrote Conservatives without Conscience. Thomas Frank wrote What’s the matter with Kansas? Judah Freed wrote Global Sense. Freed’s studies range from the chemistry of the brain to human social behavior. He concludes that a very small percentage of people rise above the primitive behaviors preprogrammed into us when we are born. Those who advance display an ability to understand and follow universal values. He calls that state of human achievement “Global Sense.” The condition of those who fail to rise to that level could be called “Tribal Sense.”

Freed derives his term “Global Sense” from an alteration of Common Sense written by Thomas Paine in the 18th Century. Freed is highly inspired by Paine and the book centers around the famous Paine pamphlet.

Freed estimates that only 15% of Americans rise to the level of Global Sense. I had estimated the number to be closer to eight percent based on those who opposed World War One, McCarthyism, Gulf War One and Gulf War Two.

Tribal Sense reflects the animal instinct to be part of a herd, pack, flock or tribe. It’s a survival instinct imprinted over millions of years of evolution. The characteristics include the desire to follow an alpha leader mindlessly and obediently. Tribal Sense is comfortable with dictatorship and distrusts democracy. Tribal Sense includes instincts such as “identification friend or foe,” “fight or flight,” “group loyalty” and “tendency to stampede.”

“Identification friend or foe” causes suspicion of anything alien to one’s herd. Suspicious behavior could be anything from a different color, different hair length or different movement or gestures. Tribal Sense has a strong racist tendency.

Fear plays a huge part in the Tribal Sense life. There is strength in numbers. There is a powerful urge to sacrifice individuals or oneself for the survival of the herd and the alpha leaders. Fear strengthens the herd bond. In times of fear, the herd has an urge to band together and stampede. Herd members will follow mindlessly in whichever direction the alpha chooses. Humans, when instilled with fear, real or imagined, also want to stampede. They are easily led in directions that do not serve their interests as Frank pointed out in What’s the matter with Kansas?

Tribal Sense desires routine. It opposes change. It wants to conserve things the way they are, or better yet, the way they were fifty years ago. Conservatives are comfortable with Tribal Sense.

The most powerful bond is the herd, flock, pack or tribe. Larger affiliations dilute the bond. Thus, conservatives are more loyal to their political party than they are to their nation. Conservatives will follow their party’s bidding even if it opposes national values. Conservatives are more likely to march in lock step and rubber stamp their party’s ideology and bidding. They claim to be patriotic and loyal to their nation, but they can’t serve two masters. What they call patriotism actually is jingoism. They feel a need to display patriotic symbols and spout patriotic words to try to compensate for their lack of real loyalty to their nation.

The transition from Tribal Sense to Global Sense is a quantum leap. Consequently, very few make it. A good example of a famous person who made the leap in a short period is Cindy Sheehan. The shock of her son’s death gave her the impetus to make the change precipitously. Usually five to ten years are needed to rise to Global Sense. Most of the time, some event or events discrediting the current structure are a necessary impetus.

Those with Global Sense see the world unobstructed from the top of the mountain. Those with Tribal Sense see the world from the obstructed viewpoint of the valley.

Of all the presidential candidates currently running for the 2008 presidential election, only one is at the Global Sense level. That is Dennis Kucinich. That makes him different to the 85% at the Tribal Sense level. Their instinct is to distrust him. He couldn't be elected even if the U.S. were a democracy.

The Simple People of America

The era of George W. Bush will be an interesting period for history. The master villain he created will emerge as a martyr and hero for the billion Muslims of the world. Bush will become a joke, an object of shame, an adjective for incompetence, ignorance, heartlessness and treachery. He will be cited as the epitome of what is endemic, evil and wrong with capitalism, Christianity, unbridled greed and gluttony. He likely will be the symbol of 21st Century decay and human pathology.

Osama Bin Laden, on the other hand, will become the David that took on the snarling, dimwitted Goliath, crippled it and ultimately caused it to collapse into a writhing heap of bloated decay.

The simple people will be forgotten as the nonentity that they were. They never rose above the primitive animal herd level. They accepted without question, and often with enthusiasm, slavery, homocide, genocide, fratricide, eugenics, torture and mass incarceration. Genetically, they were incapable, like their British ancestors, of developing a conscience. They never could distinguish right from wrong, civilization from savagery or maturity from immaturity. If there is a heaven, none of them will be there.

Homosexuality epidemic

There seems to be a homosexuality epidemic ravaging the Republican Party. it is a particularly virulent strain that has brought down Republican ministers such as Ted Haggard as well.

What is the source of this tragedy? Larry Craig, Republican senator from Idaho and latest victim of the outbreak, blames the media. Democrats lack the imagination to do it. That leaves Bin Laden, God, the French, Dick Cheney and the 2001 anthrax perpetrator as the most likely culprits.

Until we identify and control the source of the epidemic, we need to take precautions to protect our male children. We need laws requiring all Republicans to warn all neighbors within a five block area that there is a Republican living in the neighborhood. Also, all public mens' restrooms must have lights flashing and sirens sounding anytime a Republican is using the facility. Public parks must have signs warning that Republicans could be roaming the parks.

These precautions will not protect all innocent victims, but they will provide some security until an antidote is found--by the private sector, of course.

George H. W. Bush, the father of the current president, was involved in a plot called the October Surprise. The October Surprise intended to undermine President Jimmy Carter and throw the 1980 election to Ronald Reagan. The plot called for a secret deal with Iran, a nation on the State Department’s terrorist list, to buy weapons and military equipment parts. In return, Iran would not release before the elections hostages it had captured from the U.S. embassy during its 1979 revolution. The “hostage crisis” was an embarrassment for the Carter Administration. President Carter also was negotiating for release of the hostages. If the release came in October, he could count on a swell of national pride to sweep him into a second term.

If the Carter plan worked, it would be an essential part of his job even though it could be considered political and somewhat improper for him to use the situation to gain reelection. It was not illegal.

For the Ronald Reagan team to do it would be treason and subversion of the Constitution.

The hostages were not released in October. They were released within 12 hours of Reagan’s swearing in ceremony. Two months later, U. S weapons and military parts began arriving in Iran. Reagan betrayed his oath of office the moment he took it.

Several years later, Ronald Reagan went on TV and confessed to his part in selling weapons to Iran. Instead of being impeached and tried as a traitor, the Moths (members of the herd) praised him for being forthright. President Bush pardoned the Reagan Administration officials who were involved in the Iran arms deal subverting the justice system and avoiding wide public exposure of the treasonous acts. “Keep the dummies dumb” is the cardinal rule of U.S. rulers.

A recent BBC documentary addressed a 1933 plan by U.S. business leaders to overthrow the U.S. government. Franklin Delano Roosevelt had just entered the White House, and many business leaders believed he would lead the nation toward socialism. They saw no reason why the voters should have a say in how the nation conducts its economic or political affairs. For them, democracy is just an illusion to help calm the masses. The coup plans failed when the plotters called on a true patriot to lead their conspiracy. The loyal American was Smedley Butler, a Marine Corp Major General. He exposed the plan, and America avoided a revolution that would have united the U.S. with Nazi German and Fascist Italy. Prescott Bush, the grandfather of the current president was a crucial member of the plot. Ironically, Prescott Bush’s retarded, sociopath grandson executed a successful bloodless coup in 2000.

The Bush family has a long history of treason, subversion, sedition and un-American activities and plots. So it should come as no surprise that George W. Bush united with a band of traitors called neo-conservatives and ushered in the Third Millennium with a bloodless coup. This was a message to the world that civilization will not arrive in the current millennium. The U.S. has dragged the world deep into the middle of the second millennium.

The Bush coup became possible when he united his Bushies, a particularly incompetent, insidious and unscrupulous bunch, with the neo-cons who had a core membership of about 40 fanatically conservative, unpatriotic men and women. The neo-cons, “the crazies” as they were known in some bureaucratic circles, were a band of misfits, mostly Jewish, who had little link with reality and a strong loyalty to Israel. They tended to develop a philosophy then invent “facts” to support their guesses. It was their guesses that led to the quagmire in Iraq. Their desire to have the U.S. fight Israel’s wars clouded any analytical ability they had. In general, the neo-cons are well educated. They are vastly overconfident. They understand the Moth mind. They have a lot in common with the Bolsheviks who took control of Russia in 1917. They hold or held influential positions in the media and government. Bill Kristol, the most influential, had his own publication to disseminate the group’s distorted ideas. The core of the neo-con philosophy is that the strong have the right to rule the weak, and that the weak are at a three-year-old mental, moral and maturity level. Social order must be maintained even if the rulers have to lie to the ruled. Such lies are “noble lies” since they are told for the good of society.

The coup was easy since U.S. traditions of law and order, justice, democracy and equality are nothing but an empty shell. The ruling structure is closer to that of the Soviet Union where democratic elections were held and a democratic government elected. However, actual power rested in the Communist Party’s Politburo. A Politburo also rules the U.S., but its existence and composition are well concealed.

In the 2000 election and the invasion of Iraq in 2003 every institution seemed to betray the values on which the nation was founded. In reality, they merely took their orders from the rulers, the U.S. Politburo. The masses are unable intellectually to distinguish democracy from oligarchy. When Bush said he was the “decider,” few Americans caught the insinuation that he had usurped the legislative powers of the Congress. Bush didn’t have the intelligence or desire to pretend that the U.S. was a democracy as his predecessors had done.

The Moths

Most people will go through life as Moths, the acronym for "members of the herd.". They will follow the rules of the herd and never become an individual. They can never be patriotic in the United States because their most powerful loyalty is to the herd, not to the broader ideals of the nation. Loyalty to the nation is so remote it generates little attachment. What these people believe is patriotism actually is jingoism.

From 2001 to 2007, the Republicans controlled the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. They rubber stamped whatever the president wanted. Rubber stamp Republicans reflected at least two major herd instincts. First is unquestioning obedience to the herd alpha. Second is group pressure. Moths will subordinate their own conscience to that of the herd of herd alpha. In other words, they have no ethics of their own or moral screens to direct their actions. America would have been better served by a Congress of monkeys with yea and nay stamps. The monkeys would have worked for less salary, probably just bananas, and benefits while doing a better job.

The current field of presidential candidates is representative of the Moths in the nation at large. All those who were duped by a morally retarded dummy into voting for the invasion of Iraq were responding to their Moth instincts. That means only Kucinich and Gravel qualify as enlightened citizens on this issue in the Democratic Party. In the Republican Party, only Ron Paul qualifies as a person with a mind that is not herd controlled. Those who voted to fund the criminal war after it started also are Moths.

The Moths' herd instincts render them incapable of determining that the war in Iraq is criminal. They hold fellow herd members to low or no standards while holding all others to high standards. The invasion of Iraq was just like Hitler's invasion of Poland in 1939. Moths can believe the invasion of Poland was criminal while believing their own invasion of Iraq was justified. The Moths fell for similar deceptions leading to the U,S. invasoin of Vietnam. They were duped by similar fabrications 40 years later because they are incapable of learning from past mistakes. Moths have a powerful urge to stampede, and they don't particularly care about the direction they are told to take.

George Bush could not have been elected elected president in a democratic nation. Yet he claims he is fighting for democracy in other nations. He can't understand the hypocrisy in this statement. He is good friends with several dictators. He can't understand the hypocrisy in this position. As a Moth, his brain is incapable of functioning analytically. His brain is incapable of reason. All his brain can do is respond to emotions and visceral urges. He frequently admits that he responds to what he feels in his gut. This is a classic Moth response.

The vast majority of people can rise above the Moth level. They can learn to think on their own. However, nobles and rulers need ignorant masses or peasants. They spend a lot of time and money deceiving and manipulating the masses. As long as the masses function at the Moth level, they can be controlled and exploited by a few nobles and rulers.

Jane Fonda and the Denial Heap

Clinical studies currently under way indicate that war has a guilt purging effect. This indicates that guilt accumulates in the subconscious sector of the brain. As the guilt heap grows, it needs an outlet. In conservative minds, a simple outlet is necessary. In more primitive times, something such as a scapegoat served this purpose.

As most of us moved away from the farm, new forms of release were necessary. One of the best examples is the blame placed on Jane Fonda for the sins of the Vietnam War. The brutal, barbaric actions of the U.S. using the most horrendous weapons available indiscriminately on innocent men, women, children and babies generated monstrous amounts of guilt. Primitive and pagan societies commonly used transference ceremonies. Modern pagans use Jane Fonda to rechannel their Vietnam War guilt.

Unable or unwilling to admit quilt, or even to understand the extent of their monstrous actions, the guilty parties usually search for a simple alternative and punish it excessively. They are unable to comprehend the complex events that created the guilt in the first place.

A modern example is Hillary Clinton. No one can explain their bitter hatred for her. There is no basis for the hatred. The guilt from the baseless attacks on her and her husband needs its outlet, and she is the most convenient target.

Males are most in need of sin-eaters. They seem to prefer females as the transference target. Transference targets almost always are something weak or inanimate such as a voodoo doll. The transference also can include races of people which can become as harmful as the original sin or worse. The guilty parties whip themselves up into a fanatic frenzy as they self-righteously attempt to eradicate the imaginary guilt. This tactic was more common among savages, but it remains a powerful instinct among many today who have not developed reasoning, analytical minds.

Thugs Seldom Make the Best Presidents

Most Americans prefer the candidate for political office who is the most thuggish. That is even truer for their president. They also lean toward the candidate who is the most insane. During the Cold War, only those who vowed that they could incinerate all life on earth were considered for the highest political position. Only a person who had gone mad would do such a thing. The candidates had to convince most American voters that they were insane. They called the political philosophy MAD or mutually assured destruction. Strangely, total annihilation brought a feeling of security and comfort to most Americans. The madness was vividly described in the movie “Dr. Strangelove.” In the end, they were.

Ronald Reagan contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union, but not in the way most think. When Americans, aided by some acts of sedition and treason, installed Reagan in the White House, fear filled the bodies of Soviet leaders. Reagan called his wife Nancy “mommy.” Reagan was an infant in an adult body. He was crazy enough to launch Armageddon. The Soviet leaders decided it was better to be a capitalist than a burning radiated ember.

Richard Nixon also had gone mad by the end of his term. He talked to pictures on the wall and made Henry Kissinger, a Jew, knell down and pray to Jesus with him.

George W. Bush probably never was sane. His mother taught him that force was the only tool that could bring obedience, discipline and order to a society. Force needed to be used on foreign as well as domestic populations. Like most presidents, he is not capable of diplomacy or negotiation. Striking out with brutal force is his only option.

Thugs notoriously have little or no perception of the future. Their actions almost always bring twice as much reaction back on them and their nation. Eisenhower toppled the democratic government of Iran. He prevented North and South Vietnam from reuniting. Both those decisions had detrimental consequences for the U.S., and Iran continues to be a major thorn in the side of the U.S. George Bush’s bumbling actions will have consequences for centuries.

While the insane thug may seem like the person best able to keep us secure now, that rarely is true for the long run. The madman theory claims potential antagonists will avoid someone who seems to be crazy. The madman goes away eventually, and the opponents have had time to plan their revenge. Unfortunately, those who seek the protection of the madman seldom remember what the madman did.

All in all, it's best not to elect insane thugs to political offices, especially the presidency. We need to stop doing it now. We should start electing people who are capable of distinguishing right from wrong such as Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader.

Loyalty ot the Alpha or Loyalty to the Ideal

Authoritarian personalities have the natural inclination to follow the herd alpha leader mindlessly and blindly. These instincts are counter to moral and civilized behavior. Consequently, conservatives almost always end up as criminals and social pariahs. Their salvation lies in the fact that they are the vast majority of the people. In the U.S. they make up about 90% of the population.

Rush Limbaugh, right-wing radio talk show host and epitome of the authoritarian personality, once stated that all drug abusers should get an automatic 20 years in prison. When Limbaugh was caught abusing drugs, he quickly changed his high-mined attitude about punishment for drug usage. His listeners, who were devout advocates of his pre-larceny position, suddenly made an exception when their alpha became the perpetrator.

Ronald Reagan claimed to be a staunch defender of law-and-order. Then he was caught selling weapons to a terrorist nation, an act of treason. He went on television and confessed to the crime. His flock of followers fully forgave him and allowed the worst U.S. crime of the 1980s to go unpunished. A decade later, these same flock members would bleat “rule of law” incessantly demanding punishment for a president who was involved in an act of consensual fondling. The “opposition” party quietly cut a deal with the Reagan Administration and overlooked a premeditated, blatant act of treason. In the minds of Democrats, it was better to overlook a heinous crime than to allow the seeds of doubt in the system to be sown. “Dupe the dummies” is the common goal of both parties. Don’t let the people discover that their government is not just, honest or democratic.

When the American herd was attacked on Sept. 11, 2001, herd members prompted by their alpha leaders said the attack was unconscionable, barbaric and criminal. When their alphas launched an unprovoked, unwarranted attack on Iraq in 2003 leading to the deaths of nearly 1 million people, the herd members were unable to see any fault, let alone a crime.

A concrete law of the herd is to follow the alpha mindlessly and blindly. The herd members are not comfortable with democracy. They prefer monarchs, autocrats, kings, dictators, tyrants and totalitarians. They claim this unquestioning devotion is patriotism. In reality, this loyalty is jingoism. It’s herd behavior, not human analytical response.

The herd behavior is strongest in times of fear. Fear activates and nourishes the reptilian brain. The most important tool of the dictator, oligarchy, nobility or other minority ruler or rulers is to activate the reptilian brain and keep it dominant. When “Godless Communism” collapsed in 1989, the rulers floundered around to find an “ism” to replace their best source of fear. It didn’t take long to find “terrorism.” George Bush’s primary job is to stoke the coals of fear. Every speech includes this “they’re gonna’ git you” drumbeat.

Fear lives unbounded in people who have not developed what is commonly called the conscience. The conscience exists in four general stages. The mature conscience is the most advanced. Those with a mature conscience are able to apply logic, analysis and reason to every situation. They seldom fall for fabricated fear dreamed up by their rulers.
The next stage is the retarded conscience. It swings between enlightened and primitive instincts. Fear easily moves it to its primitive state. Next is the atrophied conscience. It remains at the stage it was at birth. Finally, there is the deformed conscience. The deformed conscience is found in brutal, psychotic leaders such as George Bush, Dick Cheney, Adolph Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Leopold II and Joseph Stalin.

All normal brains, i.e. all but the deformed, can be reconfigured to function at the mature conscience level. This is a long and arduous process taking five or more years and must be after age 26. Thus, only a handful of people achieve the mature level in their lifetime. It’s no more than 8% of Americans. That 8% saw right through George Bush’s manufactured justifications for the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Bush’s criminal act of aggression will never be clear to the atrophied brain or the deformed brain. Those brains are incapable of comprehending that the 1 million deaths caused by the invasion is a far worse crime than the 3,000 deaths that serve as the pretense for the invasion of Iraq.

The mature conscience measuring rod tells us that humans are a long way from civilization.

The Bloodless Coup

A recent BBC documentary addressed a plot to overthrow the U.S. government in 1933. After 12 years of Republican control of the government implementing flawed supply side economic theories, the stock market had crashed and the nation plummeted into the Great Depression. The voters ousted the Republicans and put Democrats in control of every part of government except the Supreme Court. Many Republicans believed the nation was on a path to socialism, so some of them decided they had to change the outcome of the elections. They began planning a revolution. The plotters wanted a Fascist government like those in Italy and Germany, which they believed naively would restore the economy. Fascism, a merger of the state and business interests, seemed to be working in Italy and Germany.

The plotters included wealthy executives of top U.S. corporations including Prescott Bush, the grandfather of the current U.S. President, the DuPont family and executives in GM and several other corporations. Chase Manhattan Bank would manage the funds. The traitors selected a patriotic name for themselves: "American Liberty League." The ALL was ready to assassinate the president, install a strongman as a coexecutive, or recruit and arm hundreds of thousands of WW I veterans. The plotters chose General Smedley Butler to lead the coup since he was popular with the troops. Unlike members of today’s officer corps who are undistinguished, unimaginative, unthinking, jingoistic sychophants, Smedley Butler was a true patriot. He was a Marine major general and willing gunslinger for corporation aggression and plunder in third world countries. He had undergone an epiphony and realized the evil in his role and that of the corporations. Butler exposed the treasonous plot to Congress.

What happened next was very telling about the U.S. system of government, its representatives and its people. The Democrat committees held hearings and whitewashed the whole event claiming they could find no direct link to Fascism. The greatest act of treason in U.S. history, after the Civil War, and Democrats proved to be too skittish and cowardly to do anything about it. The roots of liberty, justice, equality, democracy and ethics still had not taken hold in the U.S.

The greatest irony of the whole incident occurred 67 years later. The retarded and sociopathic grandson of Prescott Bush, his criminally insane sidekick and a group of 40 accomplices, mostly Jewish, executed a bloodless coup. The Congress and American people, still oblivious and clueless about the text and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and the nation’s traditions and principles, failed to recognize that their government had been overthrown and replaced by a deranged man obsessed with killing (he held the record for people killed by a U.S. governor) and a bunch of “crazies” as the Central Intelligence Agency referred to his cohorts. To this day, most U.S. citizens have not figured out what happened.

We can blame the insidious proclivities of the wealthy and powerful. We can blame the naivete of the people. We can blame the corrupt political parties and national institutions. Ultimately, we must lay the blame at the feet of the ignorant and stupid people. Bush’s 40 accomplices, known as the neo-conservatives, claim people are inherently ignorant, and childlike and function at an animal level. Like animals, they must be closely controlled and watched or held on tight leashes. An abundance of pens or prisons are necessary. Otherwise the people will cause chaos and disorder breaking down social order to the detriment of all of society.

Thomas Jefferson said the tree of liberty must be watered with blood from time to time. He believed a revolution was necessary each generation. Many apologists claim each election is a revolution, so a bloody one is not necessary.

Jefferson saw something rotten in human nature. Studies conducted after the Second World War by scholars examining the brutal actions of Nazis revealed human characteristics that were alarming to a civilized world.

Hermann Goering said a Nazi lurks inside all of us. The studies confirmed Goering’s assertion.

Human nature seems to break down into three levels: Human, proto-human and sub-human. The bulk of the population falls into the proto-human category. The proto-humans live the life preprogrammed by nature. They follow the rules or the herd. They want an alpha leader and put loyalty to the herd above everything else, even their own lives. Studies showed that proto-humans tend to subordinate their own conscience to that of the herd or group. This group tends to allow emotion to dominate reason. Consequently, this group is manipulated easily.

The sub-humans are the lowest forms of life. They include Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. In them, emotion suffocates reason and the conscience has atrophied. They are sociopaths incapable of charity, remorse, sympathy or empathy. They are the most despicable and loathsome people. They make up about 2% of the American people.

The proto-humans, which includes about 90% of Americans, are manipulated easily by the despicables. just by appealing to their emotional side. The proto-humans will go fight and die or get mutilated in the wars manufactured by the despicables, and believe they are doing great things. They supported the Veitnam War and the War in Iraq. They will support any future war no matter how questionable the justifications. They claim to be patriotic, but their propensity to follow an alpha leader renders them unpatriotic. They are jingoists, not patriots. They can make the same mistakes over and over.

The proto-humans have a dormant conscience that can be cultivated and activated elevating them to a human level. The transformation from proto-human to human can take five to ten years. In his book "Conservatives without Conscience," John Dean cites figures that show one-fourth of Americans are dumb as rocks and could never rise to the human level.

Thus, 73% of Americans, and probably higher numbers in other nations, can be elevated to a civilized, enlightened, righteous human being. At that level, manipulation is nearly impossible. Humans are moral by conviction. Proto-humans can be moral only when threatened with punishment. Sub-humans are incapable of moral behavior. There is hope, but not much.

Ronald Reagan traded weapons to a nation the State Department listed as a terrorist nation in return for help discrediting his political opponent.

George H.W. Bush arranged a deal with Iran to hold American hostages until after the 1980 Election.

George W. Bush rigged state elections in 2000 and 2004, which was the only way he could become president.

Political parties give us their best for elections. If the best Republicans are unscrupulous, subversive and traitorous, is it possible for a Republican to be honest and of high character? Does a Republican know right from wrong? Is a Republican capable of knowing right from wrong?

No! A Republican by his nature can’t know right from wrong. The only way to make him honest is to make him accountable. He must have threats hanging over his head whether it’s prison or an eternity in Hell. If there is no accountability, he will act as the members of the Bush Administration are acting. That is why Republicans claim to be the “law and order” party. They know only laws can make them behave properly and believe the same is true of everyone else.

By extension, a Republican can’t be a patriot. He is a jingoist. He views the world from the perspective of the herd. He can’t view the world from universal convictions such as democracy, morals and justice or documents such as the Constitution. His primary loyalty must be to the alpha leader. He reacts to stimulus/response impulses and identification-friend-or-foe urges.

Republicans keep committing subversive and criminal acts because they don’t know any better even though their predecessors got caught doing the same thing. Only harsh punishment and the certainty of accountability could make them honest, and that usually would not be enough to make them behave like civilized people. Civilized behavior is alien to them.

As herd animals, Republicans are unable to negotiate. They like to argue that they should be elected because they would be tough with those are a threat to the U.S. In fact, brute force is their only capability. They have no alternative to force. They lack the intelligence and sophistication to negotiate any issue.

Bin Laden's nuclear weapons

If there is a God, that God smiles favorably on Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden has achieved his goals, and his wildest dreams are all but fulfilled.

Bin Laden is a religious conservative. If he had been born in the U.S., he would be a follower of Pat Robertson and the late Jerry Falwell. Bin Laden was a rich man who made a fortune from his father’s construction business. He also is very moral, with integrity far above that of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Although he was rich, he lived a simple life and forbid his children to live ostentatiously. He was critical of the hypocrisy of his own Saudi government, so much so that he was exiled from the nation.

Bin Laden became radical when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in 1980. He was offended as much as Americans would be if the Chinese invaded the U.S. and began building military basses and killing people. He decided to do something about it and began recruiting Arabs to go to Afghanistan to join the resistance against the Soviet invaders. Bin Laden enjoyed the support of Ronald Reagan who provided billions in funds and taught Bin Laden and his Arabs how to make car bombs and other forms of resistance.

Bin Laden turned against his former American allies when George H. W. Bush failed to keep his promise and remove American troops and bases from Saudi Arabia after Iraqis had been driven from Kuwait in 1991. An American promise, especially from a Republican, has no meaning as bin Laden learned. Bin Laden warned the Americans to honor their Gulf War promises. When the Americans refused, bin Laden contacted some of those he had commanded in Afghanistan. He had compiled a list of names from a base, which in Arabic is called “al Qaeda.”

Bin Laden attacked several targets, but the Americans, now under President Clinton, refused to get the message. Only after George W. Bush came into office and the
World Trade Center attacks took place were the troops and bases removed. Bin Laden achieved everything he set out to do.

Bin Laden, like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, considered the Western life style to be repulsive and decadent. They were determined to porevent Western traditions from migrating to the Muslim world. They did not like Western-leaning leaders like Saddam Hussein, Kemel Nassar and Anwar Sadat. They assassinated the later. Bin Laden believed his god would not allow Western traditions to corrupt the Muslim world. Any infidel empire that had invaded the Middle East has met disaster he believed. The Middle East is the graveyard of empires, he claimed. Witness the Soviet Union that collapsed at least in part from its quagmire in Afghanistan.

When the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003, bin Laden’s fondest dream was answered. The U.S. demonstrated its evil side as it killed indiscriminately including the defenseless and infants, practiced torture, rounded up and imprisoned innocent people and destroyed infrastructure. The U.S. demonstrated to Muslims and the entire world that it was more interested in fulfilling Hitler’s dream of world rule than exporting civilization.
George W. Bush and his sick and twisted cronies believed the Iraqi’s would submit as easily as their own citizens had when they carried out a bloodless coup in the U.S. in 2000. The timid Americans demonstrated that high values like morals, freedom, justice, democracy and equality had not put down deep roots in the U.S. Most Americans trusted and preferred authoritarian rule. The Iraqis, whose forefathers had invented civilization over 5,000 years ago, were not as easily dominated and duped. They resisted.

The U.S. found itself in a quandary, although its morally bankrupt and retarded leaders refused to accept their defeat. Their empire was crumbling. They proved their nation was far from civilized. As with all empires, they had to be cruel and brutal to rule or their subject and client states also would rebel. If they killed Osama bin Laden, he would become an instant martyr revered above all others in the Muslim world except the prophet Mohammed. Muslims would rally around his name for decades and seek revenge against his killers and their descendents, just as pseudo-Christians use Christ’s death as justification for many of their murders.

Osama Bin Laden now has two nuclear weapons. Their names are George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The damage inflicted by these two weapons will be in the millions and radiate for decades. Another empire will expire to the trash bin of history.

George Bush is the True American

When the U.S. Constitution went into effect in 1789, it established a nation closer to democracy than anywhere else in the world. It wasn’t a democracy. It is not a democracy today even though the XIIIth, XIVth and XVth amendments abolished slavery and gave voting rights to some former persons of servitude. It would be 50 more years until the XIXth Amendment gave the right to vote to women enfranchising more than half of the population of the United States.
The founding fathers were uncomfortable with democracy and believed it would not work. They believed a person could be responsible only if he were white, male and owned property. Even then, they had their doubts. So they put safety valves in the Constitution including the electoral college and a senate composed of members elected by state legislatures.
The founding fathers were correct in assuming that most people were unfit to govern themselves. They were wrong, however, in assuming that white, male property owners were capable of democratic behavior. In fact, that group has proved to be the most undemocratic and autocratic.
The latest studies indicate most people function at a stimulus-response level. At this level, animal instincts dominate. The most powerful bonding force is the herd. Loyalty to the herd trumps everything else. Members of the herd or group are unable to hold universal values such as morals, integrity, principles or humanity. The “identification friend or foe” instinct is powerful and renders them racists. The “cornered rat panic syndrome” causes them to stampede mindlessly when faced with real or imagined danger. The animal “fight or flight” instinct is a dominant force in them making them violent and unsympathetic.
Animal instincts are dominant and human behaviors are recessive in most people. That is particularly true among Americans where animal instincts prevail in over 90% of the population.
Those dominated by animal instincts talk about their “gut feelings.” Their “belly brains (BBs)” dictate their actions and thoughts and determine their responses. These responses are herd oriented allowing them to accept an action by their herd while condemning the same action by other herds. For instance, the BBs believe the attack on the U.S. on Sept 11, 2001 killing nearly 3,000 people was a ghastly crime and justifies killing hundreds of thousands, both guilty and innocent, in return. On the other hand, they believe their own hideous crime, the Vietnam War, which was equal to 1,000 Sept. 11 attacks, should result in no punishment to high-level U.S. officials. The BBs respond emotionally, not logically, and are incapable of grasping broad concepts or values.
The epitome of the ignorant, arrogant, mindless, violent, unscrupulous sociopath is George W. Bush. As a conservative functioning on a BB, he would have sided with King George during the Revolutionary War joining the two-thirds of Americans who did not support the war.
Bush’s invasion of Iraq was less justified than the attacks on the World Trade Center and has resulted in the deaths of nearly 1,000,000 people. Yet Bush and 92% of Americans are ethically unable to judge the scope of the repugnant crime and demand harsh punishment for the perpetrators.
The conclusion is that America was the moral leader of the world in the 18th Century. The U.S. deteriorated into decay from that time. It murdered native Americans by the millions. It was the last Western World nation to give up slavery and then only after the most costly war in its history. It committed a string of genocides in the Philippines, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Iraq. It has always been very racist. It conducted 30 years of eugenics against poor white communities. It is the world's leader in brainwashing techniques, and uses the knowledge to exploit its own people and people around tghe world. A violent nation, it goes to war every one and one-half years on average. Americans consume the shares of five of the world's people. To get those extra shares, it sends its armies to steal the food out of the mouths of less violent people. Today, in the Third Millennium, it is unfit to be the world's superpower. It is unfit to be a permanent member of the Security Council. It is unfit to have influence greater than the least nation of the world. The Jews say that at any one time there are 36 righteous people in the world that God listens to. If I were one of those 36, I would advise that the U.S. is the depraved Sodom of today. It is the greatest obstacle to world peace, justice and prosperity. It must be punished. It understands on force.

The Church Lady on Saturday Night Live could spot a hypocritical justification for a sin as easily as a knife cuts through hot butter. She nailed the pitiful excuses of sinful hypocrits with the exclamation: "How convenient!!!"

The Church Lady would respond to the recent alleged terrorist attacks in London and Glasgow with her famed exclamation. America's sycophant Tony Blair is stepping down as Prime Minister. Gordon Brown, a Scot, will replace him. Brown is not the obedient U.S. servant that Blair was. No one could be that obsequious. It's possible that Brown would withdraw British troops from Iraq leaving U.S. and and handful of other troops to die for Bush's blunder. That would be embarrassing as well as politically disasterous for Bush and his crooked cronies.

The "terrorist" attempts to carry out attacks in the U.K. at the end of June are so fraudulent an accusation that only dim-witted U.S. and U.K. citizens, the media and the mentally derranged would beleive them.

The Bush Administration believes the American people are so dumb that the Administration could order the CIA black-ops or military psych-ops to carry out such deeds and be believed again. The Muslim fighters opposing Western invasions are not ignorant enough to launch attacks when doing so would set back their cause.

Only the Bush Administration stands to gain from "terrorist" attacks at this time.

The best test lately is the Iraq War. A human would understand that the war is a hideous crime and that those who started it are criminals. The U.S. executed dozens of Nazis for doing what George Bush and his administration did in Iraq. Yet, nearly 92% of Americans are incapable of deducing that George Bush is no better than a Nazi.

Those who fail to identify the evil in America are functioning at an animal instinct level. They are vulnerable to reactions from the subconscious. Sophisticated Public Relations firms and propaganda experts hold the keys to the subconscious. They know how to release the demons and frailties that lurk there. The target of the manipulators feels in his "gut" that what he is doing is right. If someone else did the same thing, he could feel that it is terribly wrong.

Loyalty over morality and humanity

How can you put loyalty above humanity and morality, especially when the loyalty is to a lying, murderous scoundrel like George Bush? You don’t know how embarrassing it is to be a civilized person in a nation of greedy, gluttonous, lying thugs and savages.

The Democratic political leaders are manipulated as easily as three-year-old children. Look at how most Democrats fell for lie after lie leading up to the criminal, aggressive invasion of Iraq. Even I could see the deception. I was one of 15,000,000 people who protested on Feb. 15, 2003 trying to draw attention to the folly, insanity and criminality the nation was undertaking. You didn’t listen to the enlightened millions then. You should listen to Hugo Chavez now. He’s more perceptive than the entire Congress.

Everything Chavez said at the U.N. on Sept. 20 was true. A possible exception is the reference to Bush as the Devil. Bush isn’t that smart or cunning. “Satan’s servant” is a more accurate term.

The U.S. does harbor, train and finance terrorists. It regularly overthrows democracies. It often supports, protects and finances dictators. The U.S. does accept the illegal possession of nuclear weapons as in Israel. The U.S. uses WMDs as it did in 2004 in Fallujah. The U.S. tortures and murders because, being woefully lacking in intellect, force is its only option. The U.S. is the leading murderer and source of misery in the world today. It’s also the world’s foremost hypocrite.

History tells us that only one nation has people sick and twisted enough to use nuclear weapons. That nation still has nuclear weapons and is now a cold-blooded, vicious rogue state roaming the world murdering (nearly 7,000,000 people since 1945), destroying infrastructures, launching lethal embargoes that affect mostly children, torturing and taking whatever resources it wants. All the world’s leaders have an obligation to take whatever actions are necessary to protect their people from this lawless marauder. In Iran, Ahmadinejad looks east and sees devastation, death and dying inflicted by the U.S. and U.K. He looks west and sees even worse devastation, death and dying. He looks southwest and sees the same thing, this time inflicted by the U.S. and Israel. There can be no doubt the rogue state and its British and Israeli yapping puppies are near and are an imminent threat.

Americans have an extremely revolting habit that was roundly condemned by Jesus in Mathew 7: 3-5. Americans self-righteously look for tiny splinters in the eyes of others while overlooking or forgiving the beams in their own eyes. This nation is saddled with beam-eyed politicians with no exception that I can name.

The U.S. is the cockroach of the world. It goes where it is not invited. It’s predatory and consumes the nourishment of others’. It enters private residences and murders, rapes and tortures the inhabitants. It is a filthy creature that soils and defiles the globe.

Blind, mindless loyalty is jingoism not patriotism. Jingoism must be present before nations can produce Hitlers and Stalins. It is particularly virulent in the U.S. We are a hairs-width away from becoming the Fourth Reich.

Please read Chavez’s speech again and study it analytically, not passionately. Please attempt to change this nation from what it is into what it claims to be. Chavez tells you what it is, and it isn’t very pretty.

You have seen the wisdom of one-party rule. As Donald Rumsfeld observed “Democracy is untidy.” Your president, George Bush, noted “it would be so much easier if I were a dictator.”
Your gulag of secret prisons to house all the “disappeared” people was the one undertaking that left no doubt that I was the model for your current government.
I had a huge police force called the KGB, formerly the NKVD, to impose my will on the rebellious and independent minded people of the U.S.S.R. In America, you realized that my system was better and voted for it. No police threats were needed. You know it is your best defense against internal and external threats. All that bunk about democracy, freedom and justice that groups like the American Civil Liberties Union advocate will make the nation weak and vulnerable. The ACLU’s obsession with a literal interpretation of the Bill of Rights never stopped any external enemy from attacking you and it protected internal enemies. The ACLU runs to court each time your leaders ignore or circumvent the Constitution, invade some country, violate a treaty or show initiative in dealing with questionable laws and customs. They only divide, confuse and weaken the national resolve?
You also understand that morals are relative. Morals are standards the strong have for the weak, but not for themselves. As I responded when I was told the Vatican would disapprove of my actions: “How many divisions does the Pope have?”
Your mainstream media put my Pravda and Izvestia to shame. I conducted “show trials” to convict and execute those who were of questionable loyalty to me. They preferred to confess and be executed to spending another day in my prisons. Torture does work, as your leaders realize. Your media accuse themselves of being too liberal and overzealous as government watchdogs while they dutifully pass on the Party propaganda without comment or question.
The American people understand that there are times when they must be protected from the truth. You usually prefer to be immersed in fantasies just as a child craves fairy tales. Everyone wants to be spared the inconvenient realities of life. Consequently, you accept state secrecy and non-transparency realizing they do far more good than harm.
Your leaders switch positions as readily as I did. George Orwell captured the essence of my sudden policy reversals and the public reactions in his book “Animal Farm.” Your leaders obviously use “Animal Farm” as their governing manual. In the 1980s, when Osama bin Laden went to Afghanistan to help drive out the Soviet Union, your leaders funded him and called him a “freedom fighter.” When he led the same fight in the 1990s and 21st Century to drive the U.S. out of Saudi Arabia, his actions were called ”terrorism.” Saddam Hussein was a good friend and valuable asset to the U.S. from 1958 to 1990. Then George H. W. Bush tricked him into invading Kuwait and began calling him the “Butcher of Baghdad.”
Propaganda is far more sophisticated today than it was in my time, and your nation has refined it to near perfection. You eliminated the need to elect intelligent, capable people who might turn on the Party or come up with dangerous new ideas.
Your politicians do what the Party tells them, and you don’t even need to threaten them with executions. That anthrax attack in 2001, however, was a nice touch. The “opposition party” has been completely cowed, compliant and timid.
You are a very obedient people. Gas prices could rise to $10 per gallon and you would complain a little but pay it. You willingly pay for and die for your frequent wars even when they are based on the silliest reasons. Was Saddam Hussein going to load nuclear bombs into a squadron of balsa wood drones, send them half way around the world in 45 minutes and destroy the U.S.? You believed he was.
Unfortunately, even your sophisticated propaganda can’t control everyone. You realize that you still need torture, bullets, bombs, prisons and fear to keep order. You have more prison cells than any other nation in the world. At least I had Siberia.
The power of fear can never be overestimated. Scared people revert back to their animal natures and don’t think rationally or humanely. They are inclined to form into herds or gangs where they can be led wherever you want them to go. I knew that. Hitler knew that. Your current president knows that. Fear is the best indicator of what is an authoritarian or democratic government. If the government fears the people, it’s a democracy. If the people fear the government, as in my country and yours, it’s authoritarianism. To maximize fear, the government must manufacture an internal enemy as well as an external foe as Hermann Goering, Hitler’s top lieutenant, claimed. Internally, you have your Black minority and liberals to fear. Externally, you had Communism as a threat until 1991. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, your leaders quickly invented terrorism to replace it.
People don’t want to be bothered with complicated questions such as: what is the best form of government or are there alternative economic systems? As I famously observed, “Kill a man, it’s murder. Kill a million, it’s a mere statistic.” It’s difficult to grasp mass murder and genocide and whether or not it is justified, right or wrong, a crime or self-defense. It’s easier to let your leaders tell you what is right and wrong.
Initially I felt that George Bush was modeling himself after Adolph when the Twin Towers fell paralleling the Reichstag fire, the neo-cons functioned like the Brown Shirts and wars of aggression were waged against tiny countries. The invasion of Iraq was analogous to Hitler’s invasion of Poland. Now there’s no doubt that I am George Bush’s role model. I can’t think of a single thing I would have done differently. I couldn’t be more proud of that little, dumb, fake Texan if he were my own son.
Older Americans might be uncomfortable with me as a ruling model. Many were harshly critical of me for doing what you are doing today. Thankfully, you Americans have very short memories and less ethics. Ours has been a love-hate relationship. During the 1930s you hated me. During WW II you loved me. After the war, you hated me again. Now, I believe you hold me in higher esteem than George Washington. The father of America’s 21st Century will be Joseph Stalin.

Shameless political use of terrorism

There’s an old saying:
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me thrice,
A fool I’ll always be.

Polls show that defense against terrorism is the only area where the people trust the Republicans to do a better job than the Democrats. Why the thrice people would trust those who failed to protect us on Sept. 11 can be explained only by believing in a reversion to animal survival instincts. With elections rapidly approaching in November, the Republicans’ only chance to retain control of the government is to create terrorist plots and instill fear in the people.

Recently, the Republicans found a “terrorist cell” in Florida. On closer scrutiny, those “terrorists” could not have knocked over a convenience store, let alone the Sears Tower. That alarm went over like a lead balloon.

Next, they went on the Sunday morning propaganda platforms and cried “World War III World War III.” Michael Ledeen, their resident clown, varied the alarm claiming it was World War IV. How a loony like Ledeen can go to any TV station and get his rantings broadcast across the nation is a sign of the media decay this nation is suffering.

That alarm didn’t work well either. The duct tape and plastic departments in the hardware stores remained fully stocked.

These are determined people. They would do anything to keep the keys to the U.S. Treasury for two more years. They still have a lot of friends they would like to reward and slip a little to themselves in the process. Next they called on their loyal London lapdog to initiate another phase in the hope that some Americans could be fooled by a multinational threat. Of course, the media fell for it instantly, again.

The three events occurred in the three most Bush-friendly, perhaps only Bush-friendly, territories in the world: Florida, where his brother is governor; United Kingdom where his loyal London lapdog is Prime Minister and the media that has been his compliant doormat for the past 5 ½ years.

Let’s hope this last ploy works. Otherwise the Republicans might feel obliged to blow up another building or landmark or invade another nation to win the November elections.

Root for the Bush

When George W. Bush became president in 2001, the national debt was at $5.7 trillion. Now, after five and one-half years of his stewardship, it is at $8.5 trillion. Will he be the one who reaches the $10 trillion milestone?

At the current rate of $560 billion annual debt—as opposed to deficit, George will achieve $9.880 trillion by January 20, 2009. That will leave him only $120 billion short of the $10 trillion mark. A couple points rise in the interest rates or another invasion would close the gap easily. This would be a monumental achievement for a mental lightweight.

At four percent, the interest rate paid on most savings bonds, the annual interest on the current debt is $340 billion. We Americans can brag proudly that what we pay in interest on our national debt is more than the gross domestic product of all but 25 nations in the world.

So let’s root for George, the man with numerous intelligence handicaps, who has made a deep footprint on America that won’t soon be forgotten.

Reactionaries are those who want to keep things the same, or better yet, the way they were 50 or 100 years ago. In the U.S., the reactionaries mainly are Republicans and have total control of the government.

It was almost 90 years ago that Communists took control of the Soviet Union. Something 90 years old looks pretty good to reactionaries. Red was the color that symbolized Communists and nations ruled by Communists were called red states. Today, Republicans call the states where they have majorities “red states.”

Republicans stole the color red from the Communists and now appear to be stealing Joseph Stalin as their governing model. Under Stalin, one party ruled and placed the interests of the party above those of the nation. Under George Bush, one party rules and puts the interests of the party above those of the nation. Stalin was a dictator. Bush says he is a “unitary executive,” a synonym for dictator or autocrat. Stalin held elections that were fixed. Bush holds elections that are rigged.

Pravda and Izvestia, the mainstream media in the Soviet Union, obediently spewed the government propaganda. The mainstream media in the U.S. uncritically pass on whatever comes out of the Whitehouse no matter how ridiculous or fraudulent.

The Soviet Union had a progressive constitution and a democratic election system. However, the government took its orders from the Communist Party. The U.S. has an antiquated but functional constitution. However, the U.S. Government ignores it and follows the dictates of the Republican Party.

Stalin had a gulag of secret prisons, disappeared people, tortured captives and held people without due process. Bush has a gulag of secret prisons, disappears people, especially Arabs, tortures captives and holds people without due process.

Who is the primary role model for George W. Bush? The obvious person would be his father George H. W. Bush. W certainly has his father’s propensity for invading nearly defenseless nations and slaughtering as many people as possible. Sr. Bush invaded four nations in four years: Panama, Iraq, Haiti and Somalia. W invaded three so far-- Afghanistan, Iraq and Haiti--but has his eye on three known additional targets and, no doubt, several others to be named later.

W shares his father’s contempt for the Constitution, democracy, freedom and rights. Both are racists, cold-blooded killers and accomplished liars. Both claim to be Christian but would be far more comfortable with Satan.

In office, W has shown that he is far more ruthless than his father. Being less intelligent than his father and most people of the world, for that matter, he is capable only of copying someone else. He is ruling the nation through a single party and blatantly snubbing his nose at the Constitution. He set up a gulag of secret prisons. He made people disappear. When he can, he ignores civil customs such as trial by jury, habeas corpus and the concept of innocent until proven guilty. He calls himself a unitary executive, which is a euphemism for dictator, autocrat or tyrant. In this respect, he most closely resembles Joseph Stalin.

W increased his powers by creating an incident that convinced an already timid and submissive Congress to grant him emergency powers. He fabricated threats and set out to conquer the world. His strategy was to show the world that there is no limit to his cruelty and savagery, so that the next nations would know they are dealing with a heartless thug and would not resist their conqueror. He kidnapped and tortured innocent people. He used some of the most hideous, outlawed weapons known to man. He had no reservations about killing anyone, including children and babies, in an area where a suspect might be. He destroyed life-sustaining utilities and facilities with abandon and with no consideration for the hardship his acts caused.

W calls his theory “shock and awe.” The victims are supposed to become so horrified that they freeze in fear leaving their nation open to Bush and his bandit friends to pillage and plunder at will. That’s what his own people would do, so he figured all others would also. He was wrong. This side of W most closely resembles Adolph Hitler. Iraq was Hitler’s Poland. If Poland had had resisters like Zarqawi, the Second World War would never have happened, and the Third Reich would have been the Third Fizzle just as Bush’s Fourth Reich limped then bogged down in the heat and sand of Iraq.

W is closer to Stalin and Hitler than to his father or any other brutal dictator. W borrows heavily from both dictators. He can best be described as a composite of the worst of those two men.

9/11, the acid test of the American character

Americans have two main roots to draw from in forming character. They are the Declaration of Independence and the penal colonies. Of course, there are thousands of minor roots in between. The Declaration of Independence holds the highest goals, which America has never met and most likely never will or can't.

The most powerful root, the strongest influence on our character was the penal colony. The penal colony centered around Georgia and is the backbone of the South and the West. This criminal strain has always prevailed over the values of the Declaration of Independence. The genocide of the American Indians, lynching, wars of aggression, theft of resource around the world, all were possible because of the criminal nature of Americans. Greed and selfishness are considered virtues. With virtues like that, the nation can never be civilized.

Contributing to the World's Mafia role of the U.S. is a depraved brand of religion. Christianity, as practiced by all by a couple religions such as the Quakers, Amish and Jehovah's Witnesses would make Christ retch if he returned to earth today.

September 11, 2001 brought all the character rot to the surface. Every institution betrayed America, humanity and civilization. Most decadent was the Executive Branch which is nothing but hardcore, irremedial criminals. Most disgusting was the Republican Party which proved to be shameless and devoid of any principles. The Democrats betrayed the people, the Constitution and decency. Part of that can be attributed to the fact that they would get anthrax in their mail if they crossed Dick Cheney or Karl Rove. There was not a hero among them.

The military brass shamelessly parroted the lies they were instructed to tell with a couple brave, honorable exception like ex-general Shinseke and ex-Secretary of the Army White.

The media were nothing but two-bit whores. They should take that as a compliment.

The only source of real heroes, people who genuinely reflected the values of the Declaration of Independence, and can be a source of pride for the few civilized Americans, was the bureaucracy. We will never know who all the heroes were because many were silenced or intimidated, or the mainstream media suppressed their stories. We can appreciate the fact that there were more than just a handful of these true heroes. People like Joseph Wilson, Larry Johnson and Ray McGovern were among them. While there was more than a handful, there probably were less than 100. Of 300,000,000 people, there are no more than 100 true heroes. How pathetic.

The pigs in the White House, who are not fit to tie the shoes of any one of these people, and who happily soil their own nests and lie in it, did almost everything they could think to retaliate against their heroic, honorable acts of decency.

It's a great shame to be an American today. When those who can't function above a stimulus/response level are the leaders, there is no hope for the nation in a civilized world.

1,000 Zarqawis better than one Bush

The world would be far better off if there were 1,000 Zarqawis and no George W. Bush. Bush is a wanton murderer. He proudly holds the record for most people executed by a U.S. governor (152). Apparently state executions were not fast enough, so he ran for president where he could kill by the thousands.

The British Lancet estimates that Bush is directly responsible for over 80% of the approximately 130,000 deaths of innocent people in the needless, senseless war in Iraq. In fact, he is responsible for all of them plus nearly 2,500 U.S. military deaths. Bush was quick to send Americans to die where the opposition had the home-field advantage, but not as quick as he was to desert the military when his nation needed him to fight in Vietnam, another needless, senseless, criminal war.

What if there were no Zarqawis willing to leave their comfortable homes in places like Jordan to risk their lives for their neighbors and fight a behemoth enemy that had them vastly outgunned? What if George Bush had not been bogged down for years in Iraq?

Most likely, if he had encountered little resistance in Iraq, Bush would have invaded Syria and Iran by now, and, like Hitler and Napoleon, the mad megalomaniacs that preceded him, been making plans to invade Russia. Hitler and Bush share experiences in their rise to power that are too similar to be coincidental.

Bush’s invasion of Iraq was very similar to Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1939. Judges who heard cases against Nazis said they hanged Germans for acts of aggression, and Bush’s invasion of Iraq was an act of aggression.

Zarqawi may have saved the world from a 21st Century holocaust, if not nuclear annihilation. History will judge who the most evil man was. I’m betting on Bush.

Chicago, hotbed of dangerous professors

In his latest book, The Professors, 101 of the most dangerous academics in America, David Horowitz lists the professors he believes are criticizing and undermining American values, virtues and interests and acting as apologists for discredited political systems and their controversial leaders.

Chicago is one of the hotbeds of dangerous professors on Horowitz’s list. Chicago, including Northwestern University in Evanston, is second only to New York City. One of these is Peter Kirstein, a professor of history at St. Xavier College. St. Xavier was founded over 150 years ago and sits nestled in what appears to be a gerrymandered alcove on the southwest side of Chicago. The college has about 6,000 students and nearly 400 professors.

Conceivably, a person could live all his life in Chicago and never hear of St. Xavier. If the college enjoyed anonymity, that all ended when Professor Kirstein bluntly refused an invitation from a student at the Air Force Academy to speak at a conference there. Kirstein’s e-mail rejection was passed around the military networks. Finally, it came to the attention of some self-appointed censors who decided Kirstein had taken his First Amendment rights to free speech too far. These busybodies put pressure on the college administration to punish the wayward professor. The administration finally bowed to the intense pressure and temporarily suspended Kirstein.

Kirstein never let the bureaucracy, religious fanatics, freedom-haters or anyone else temper his high virtues and values. He continued to speak out and became a determined critic of Bush Administration’s criminal actions.

After the publication of Horowitz’s book, St. Xavier decided to hold a debate on issues raised about Kirstein, Horowitz agreed. Undoubtedly he believed the small religious college would be a friendly environment for him, and Kirstein an easy opponent.

The debate took place on March 29, 2006 at the college before an overflow audience. The debate was divided into two segments. First was the issue of U.S. foreign policy and its numerous elective wars and meddling in the affairs of other nations. The second part concerned the role of university professors and what Horowitz believes is a deliberate politicization by teachers like Kirstein who introduce opinions and discussions that are not directly germane to their teaching subject. Horowitz believes impressionable students are too susceptible to indoctrination by the personal biases of the professors.

In his book, Horowitz claimed Kirstein accused the U.S. of employing the tactic of killing babies. Horowitz did not deny that the U.S. uses the tactic, but implied that it was a Kirstein invention, which should bring into question his suitability to teach. In fact, the U.S. does employ that tactic. Whether it was cavalry soldiers on the frontier bayoneting a pregnant Indian woman in the belly, World War II airmen incinerating tens of thousands of Japanese babies at Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons of mass destruction, or soldiers and marines killing the babies of Filipino and Vietnamese freedom fighters to demoralize them and lure them out of their jungle hiding places, killing babies has been a common U.S. military tactic throughout its history.

Horowitz was very concerned that professors could make negative impressions on their students with their “blame America first” rhetoric. He didn’t have the same concern for those young people who could be scarred for life by the example set by George W. Bush and those surrounding him. Horowitz wasn’t concerned that Bush, a semi-literate, failed businessman whose brain had been pickled in booze and cooked on drugs, could become president of the U.S. because of his superb lying ability. Horowitz saw no negative example when Bush led the nation into a baseless, senseless war of aggression and corrupted foreign leaders and U.S. professionals into lying to justify and further his criminal acts and goals. It didn’t bother Horowitz that the U.S. government had murdered needlessly tens of thousands of innocent Arabs. Horowitz only cared that some professor might introduce students to ideas that conflicted with the jingoistic teachings in primary and secondary schools and the self-censored propaganda spewed by the mainstream media.

Horowitz’s moral code appears to be “might makes right.” He used arguments that were debunked long ago. He still claims the U.S. needed to punish Saddam Hussein because he treacherously invaded Kuwait in 1990. He didn’t mention, or doesn’t know, that George H. W. Bush gave Saddam the green light to invade Kuwait.

Horowitz agrees with George Bush that 9/11 was the day that changed the world. It was so treacherous that the trappings of civilization could be discarded. Torture, prison gulags, suspension of habeas corpus all now were justified. Put into perspective, that’s a little exaggerated. The U.S. has perpetrated the equivalent of one 9/11 attack every week, on average, since the end of World War II. The only difference this time was that the victimizer became the victim.

The debate was the epitome of American society at large. Horowitz’s delivery was geared to a juvenile Fox News level audience employing innuendo and an ad hominem appeal to base emotions. Kirstein’s delivery was to a sophisticated audience. One audience member commented that Kirstein’s presentation was so “erudite.”

This leads us to the core of the debate. Most of society lives in a mythical world. Most Americans believe they live in a democracy and are the most noble people that ever inhabited the earth. Like children who want to believe there is a Santa Claus and Easter Bunny, most Americans also want to believe fantasies. Horowitz and his friends, like philosophers dating back to Plato, believe the masses must be controlled by lies and myths. Otherwise, their powerful animal instincts take control and the world degenerates into disorder, lawlessness and chaos. These lies and fairy tales are noble, they believe, because they contribute to social order, which benefits the rulers as well as the masses themselves.

Kirstein seems to believe people are naturally good, i.e. mature human beings, and can be civilized through reason, intellectual development and the removal of conflicting political, social and economic relations. Horowitz attacks such ideas as “social engineering.” Horowitz, who admits he was a communist in his youth, believes the experiences in the Soviet Union, China, and numerous other nations proved the communist theory was doomed to failure. People are animals and always will be animals.

The neo-conservatives bet that the average American is at a three-year-old mental, moral and maturity level. Based on that bet, they were able to carry out a coup and take control of the U.S. Then they were able to subvert the Constitution.

George W. Bush, a Horowitz idol, taps into those atavistic animal instincts when it suits his primitive purposes. Years before the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, conservatives planned to take control of the world. To launch their Fourth Reich ideas, they needed “a new Pearl Harbor.” Such an attack would arouse animal fear instincts that would override human reason and morality. The first natural reaction to fear is to form into a herd, stampede and trample any laws underfoot.

Fortuitously, all those things happened on a sunny morning in New York and Washington D.C, just seven months and 22 days after George Bush became president.

The events surrounding 9/11 and its aftermath give tremendous credibility to the theories of David Horowitz and his conservative and neo-conservative friends. The burden of proof regarding human nature rests with Peter Kirstein and “The Professors.”

On the other hand, just because social engineering failed in the Soviet Union is not conclusive proof of conservative theories. The Soviet Union was not the ideal place for such ideas to be nurtured. The capitalists feared those ideas so much that they were willing to do anything to nip them in the bud, and did. The Vietnam experience was proof that Americans can be the most savage beasts the world has ever known. The U.S. used the most hideous weapons and tactics known to mankind. No civilized nation could have done what the U.S. did in Vietnam.

Horowitz believes the actions in Vietnam and Iraq were for the good in the long term, even though both were hunch Wars perpetrated by mental and moral degenerates named George. The first was George Kennan. The second was George Bush. They were only two of a long string of wars based on the hunches of unqualified, sociopathic leaders.

Kirsten and the professors may be hoping for an ideal world that is incompatible with human nature. Maybe the only thing between the professors and the ideal world is semi-evolved people like Horowitz and Bush. Life on earth could rest in the balance.

However, it was Horowitz who found himself in a hostile audience. During the question and answer period, nearly every question was addressed to Horowitz and challenged his positions. Horowitz became irritated and was on the verge of hysteria when the moderator stepped in and ended the debate.

Could the Bumbling Bush be Genius George?

George Bush constantly assures us that he has a strategy for governing, and that he will be vindicated by history. Just trust him, he tells us. Could it be that there is a brilliant plan behind what appears to be gross incompetence and clueless decision-making? A person flipping a coin would make better decisions than Bush has. Is Bush attempting to trick his opponents into letting down their guard by acting the fool? Did he act like a semi-literate bumpkin just to hoodwink our enemies into believing they could come out of hiding and attack us while morons were at the wheel of the ship-of-state?

Did Bush conceive of these plans back during the Vietnam War? Did he desert the military to give the appearance of cowardice? Was it just a coincidence that he selected a draft dodger as his presidential running mate?

From what we know, Osama bin Laden, a Saudi, orchestrated the Sept. 11th attack. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. Much of the funding came from Saudi sources. Who did Bush punish for the attack? Afghanistan. None of the perpetrators were from Afghanistan. Afghanistan lacked the ability to attack Nepal. It was no threat to the U.S.

Khalid Sheik Muhammed, a Pakistani, was the tactical planner of the attack. Many of the schools, the Madrasas, that produce Muslim radicals are in Pakistan. How did Bush punish Pakistan? He gave it $30 billion for allowing the U.S. military to cross the territory of the guilty to attack Afghanistan, the guiltless.

Next, Bush punished Iraq by invading it, turning much of it into rubble and killing tens of thousands of its inhabitants. No Iraqis were involved in the Sept. 11 attack. No funding or other support for the attackers came from Iraq. In fact, the fundamentalists hate secular Muslim such as the socialist Baathists that rule Syria and ruled Iraq until the U.S. invasion. They hate Arab secularists as much as, if not more than, they hate the U.S. and U.K

After Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates provided the greatest support for the Sept. 11 attack. Two of the remaining four hijackers were from the U.A.E. A lot of al Qaeda funds came from the U.A.E. What did the U.A.E. suffer for its complicity? It was awarded a lucrative contract to provide security at several U.S. ports to protect the U.S. from terrorist supporting nations like itself.

Rewarding the perpetrators of horrendous crimes and their accomplices while punishing nations that were not involved and posed no threat to the U.S. would seem ill-advised and wrong-headed to the average person.

To the mind of a great genius and cunning military strategist, a peace-loving man who has been forced by fate to kill far too many tens of thousands of adults, children and babies, it all makes sense. If every nation had to ask itself if it would be the target of retaliation each time the U.S. was attacked or believed someone was contemplating an attack, every nation would do everything in its power to insure the U.S. never got attacked. The security of the U.S. would become the highest priority of every nation in the world.

The U.S. no longer would be needed to act as policeman of the world. It would be able to redirect its resources away from the military and into those areas it prizes most as the noblest nation the world has ever known. Billions would go to the impoverished areas of the nation so that no one would be without adequate food, shelter, transportation, clothing and healthcare. All diseases will have been eradicated. Everyone would be able to attend universities to the extent of his or her abilities at no cost to the student or the student’s family. The workweek could be reduced to 24 hours since the huge defense and welfare costs no longer would exist. U.S. citizens would be able to elect politicians for their brains, not for the brawn needed by a nation that is the envy of a jealous world. Leaders finally would be able to tell the truth and not need to speak deceptively to mislead the numerous enemies plotting to bring down the most morally pure and highly principled nation on the planet. Other leaders would be occupied futilely attempting to emulate the greatness and goodness of the U.S.

George Bush, in 2050, will smile as he walks through the George W. Bush presidential peace library and reads the signs of protestors who demanded that he step down before his term was up and accused him of fixing elections and hiring incompetent cronies. At the end of the tour, the signs will change to adulations for the man who brought eternal peace to the world. Many will laud him as equal to Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. One will claim he was greater than Christ. “King George, the King of Peace,” the sign will read. The humble George will smile and walk out the exit to breath the clean, regenerative air of a world at peace.

“There goes the Prince of peace and pure air,” an admiring young mother will say to her two perfectly healthy children.

Alice in Wonderland Project

It's unlikely that the U.S. can be saved from self-destruction at this point. Corruption, greed and barbarism have taken their toll. Unenlightened and uncivilized, citizens of the U.S. are not compatible with the third millennnium.

The Alice in Wonderland Project hopes to salvage the good in American and jettison the trash. The Project will set off to look for a brain for George W. Bush, a heart for Dick Cheney, courage for the Congress and media and wisdom and integrity for all of them.

The search should detect the faults that allowed these elements to rise to the top like scum to the surface of a pond. Armed with that knowledge, a new system can be composed that will be immune to future infestations of neo-cons, imperialists and sociopaths.

The Short Life & Demise of the Fourth Reich

The Second Millennium brought the world enlightenment and darkness. As the forces of good discovered ways to lighten the burden of mankind, the dark forces used those same innovations to diminish mankind. The only reason mankind was not extinguished altogether was the failure of the Soviet Union to put a Ronald Reagan in power.

Everyone is an animal when he is born. He is the accumulation of instincts acquired over hundreds of millions of years of evolution. Those instincts enabled him to survive and perpetuate his species. To survive, fighting techniques and defensive tools were honed and violence, speed or numerical superiority tactics were developed.

In newborn homo sapiens, there is a powerful animal herd instinct and a desire to follow the herd’s alpha leader obediently and mindlessly. The greatest bond is to the family. The next strongest bond is to the extended family. Next is the herd. Loyalty to high ideals, principles and values is too remote for all but a few people to attain. Only when high ideals are the strongest loyalty does the animal become a human being.

The human brain does not reach moral maturity until age 26 at the earliest. For the brain to function independently and make moral decisions, i.e. have a conscience, it must go through many years of rigorous exercises. The exercises activate a remote segment in the brain stem that triggers the ability to think analytically. With analytical capabilities, a person is capable of subordinating his animal instincts. This process is more difficult than learning a new language. Most people never master it.

Natural thinking takes place in the vision sector of the brain. Consequently, images are the most lasting imnpressions. Any public relations firm would testify that that is true. The vision sector is not capable of sophisticated analytical thinking. It functions at a rote level. It can memorize what it is told is right and wrong but can’t make that judgment independently. For instance, 3,000 people died as the result of unprovoked attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The U.S. killed 3,000,000 Asians during the Vietnam War for no valid reason. Rote level thinkers could conclude that the Sept. 11th attack was a greater crime than the Vietnam War due to the bigotry and racism of rote instincts. Rote thinking puts loyalty to its herd first and convinces itself that it did no wrong in the case of the Vietnam War.

A human being could not have killed 3,000,000 Asians for no valid defensive reason.

Psychologists call this perverted morality cognitive dissonance?. In the Christian Bible, Jesus spoke of those who can see the splinter in their neighbor’s eye but can’t see the moat in their own eyes.

Even those who become human beings can relapse into animal behavior. The “f” instincts “fight or flight” and “identification friend or foe,” are always lurking just beneath the surface. The “f” instincts can be reactivated in times of fear, threat to security and threats to the immediate family.

The most highly evolved people such as Jesus Christ, Gandhi and Martin Luther King most likely never would succumb to the animal instincts. The Jewish religion is more amenable to the development of full human beings and a conscience. Today’s perverted Christianity is the least receptive. Its foundation emphasizes the numbing of the brain. For centuries, Christians discouraged reading and learning anything but the Bible, and resorted to burning all other books. If Christ returned today in disguise, those who call themselves Christians, with few exceptions, would be the first to demand his execution

Civilized people don’t execute people. There are five nations that execute their own children. Three are in the Middle East, one is in Africa and one is in North America between Canada and Mexico.

Human beings couldn’t torture someone.

Modern Christianity has incorporated most of the animal instincts which accounts for its populairty. “Christians” have murdered more people than all other religions combined. When Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became imperialistic and pagan and discarded its high ideals. It has remained that way ever since. It is easily corrupted especially by power.

Adolph Hitler was a Christian and every soldier in the Nazi Army had “Gott mit uns” (God is with us), inscribed on his belt buckle. Joseph Stalin was educated in a Christian school. Fascism was structured on the Catholic Church hierarchy including the infallible leader. Every major fascist, including Hitler, Mussolini, Franco and Peron was a Catholic. Fascism merges religion, dictatorship and corporations.

The Catholic Church structure is a hierarchical model similar to that used by many insects and animals. Packs, herds and flocks use some version of the model. Ants and bees use the model. The common ant’s sole purpose in life is to feed, guard and protect the queen and her offspring and attendants. The soldier and worker in the capitalist world serve no more purpose than their ant counterparts.

Today, the U. S is the epitome of a nation functioning at the animal and insect instinct level. In this case, it’s a function of power more than an “f” instinct. However, the leaders use manufactured fear to insure the greatest amount of primitive behavior.

The U.S. succeeded Great Britain after WW II as capitalism’s enforcer and took on the mantle of Nazi Germany. While U.S. leaders like to describe themselves as “reluctant policeman of the world,” they practice pure aggression with the goal of domination of the world and its wealth. The U.S. aspires to become the Fourth Reich.

Great Britain had aspirations of becoming the Fourth Reich but the Second World War left it too weak to hold its former colonies, let alone expand its world rule. In its glory days, the British liked to say: “The sun never sets on the British Empire.” Now the sun shines on the British Empire for just a few hours each day as it does on any other nation. Its complete obedience to its sociopathic American offspring is its only link with its dreams of empire.

Like the U.S., the British never had the morality, naturity or wisdom to be humane rulers. The religion and greed-based economic system doomed them to animal behavior.

Both nations committed genocide several times. They were and are no better than Nazi Germany. The only difference is that they operate more deliberately. Nazi Germany acted as if it were on steroids, by comparison.

Nazi Germany, Britain and the U.S. were fueled, in part, by racism. The U.S. still is very racist. It kills Asians, Arabs and Blacks as it they were of no value. When the U.S. accidentally killed an innocent Afghani, it paid the victim’s family $1,000. The families of the World Trace Center bombing were paid an average of $1 million each.

Regarding the Iraq War, it’s ridiculous to claim the U.S. is more capable of bringing stability to the Middle East than the natives are. It was the Iraqi’s ancestors who gave birth to civilization. It was those ancestors who first codified laws. It was those ancestors who gave us the numbering system we use today.

The U.S. has never been civilized. It never will be. No civilized nation could have incinerated 10s of thousands of innocent men, women, children and babies in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, lynched 5,000 of its own Black citizens or exterminated 10 million native Americans and stolen their property. In the U.S., the plantation may be gone but the plantation mentality lives on. It is completely unqualified and unfit to set up a civilized nation. It is qualified only to destroy a nation.

Like the German people in Nazi Germany, Americans don’t know they are evil people. Their leaders tell them what they are doing is just, and the negative charges are the rantings of jealous conspiracy theorists or those who ” blame America first.” Americans trust the hunches of their animal instincts and interpret them as moral actions.

Americans are first century men with 21st century weapons. Devoid of individuality, they get vicarious identity from the actions of the herd. All too often, those actions are stealing, killing, torturing and committing all kinds of atrocities. Their leaders tell them they are noble people chosen by God and can do no wrong no matter how much that may seem to be the case. They call it “American exceptionalism.”

Evil knows no bounds and is devouring the U.S. In the end, evil devours its own weak in its frantic, greed-fueled obsession with accumulating more and more wealth and power into the hands of fewer and fewer people.

There is animal rote thinking and human analytical thinking. Thinking in the analytical sector of the brain enables people to become human beings. Stalin recognized this dichotomy in people who can grasp only small and insignificant subjects and events that can be visualized. He said kill a man, its murder. Kill a million, it’s a mere statistic.

During the 1990s, as an example, Republicans went ballistic over a questionable private $60,000 real estate deal in which the Clintons were involved. The zeros Republicans that run the government today, shrugged off $16,000,000 tax dollars paid by George Bush to a convicted embezzler and international con man. Nineties Republicans said the president is responsible for every thing that goes wrong. The zeros Republicans, in a reflection of their powerful herd loyalty, maintain the president is never responsible for anything that goes wrong.

These mental midgets make up the vast majority, over 90%, of America’s population. While they have the rudimentary thinking abilities of a civilized human being, the animal in them prevails. They are very sensitive to “friend or foe” instincts, a fundamental function of racism.

In 2000, a group of 40 neo-conservatives usurped control of the U.S. government based on the theories of University of Chicago professor Leo Strauss that no one can be a civilized human being. Obviously, he never reached the human analytical level and never understood that humans are capable of acting responsibly on their own. Strauss argued that common people function at an animal level and respond at that same level. They are receptive to lies and deception and should be told lies and deceived. In fact, they need to be lied to for their own good. These are “noble lies” that benefit the common folk as well as the leaders according to Strauss if they bring order, stability and security to a society.

Francis Fukuyama, one of the neo-cons, wrote that the world has reached the end of history. He said, “There is no alternative,” or TINA as it became known. By that, he meant that the current political, social and economic structure in the capitalist world dovetailed comfortably with human nature. Human/animal nature demands an aristocracy or nobility if not a king or dictator. Capitalism creates a crypto-nobility that makes the most important decisions, i.e. those regarding economics. The people are allowed to hold elections and choose between two of the nobility’s candidates and make decisions on insignificant issues. They are told that exercise is democracy. A noble lie.

The neo-cons and many others including Democrats like Bill Clinton intend to create a global world. The global world will be even more like the ant colony. There should be no need for soldier ants, but there will be a need for a huge ant police force. All workers will be minimum wage earners. Police will be paid slightly more, enough to keep them loyal to the global nobility. As robber baron Jay Gould pointed out, it’s easy to get one-half of the peasants to kill the other half. Among humans perhaps. Animals would not do that.

The people are told over and over by the nobility that they live in a democracy and therefore the people are sovereign. The crypto-nobility differs from feudal nobilities in that it goes to great lengths to conceal itself. Being invisible, most common folk believe it doesn’t exist.

The nobility has several layers of front groups carrying out is orders. The nobility meets and makes decisions. Those decisions go to brain trusts such as the Heritage Foundation where the decisions are translated into propaganda that will dupe the people. Then the politicians of both parties obediently carry out the orders while pretending to debate them. The media also receive the information from the brain trusts and begin trumpeting it while raising some insignificant questions and objections. The clueless public believes it has several watchdogs looking out for its interests.

The people don’t see the chains of slavery slowly wrapping around their legs and bodies. They won’t until the final lock snaps shut.

The end of history then is a herd of clueless, amoral, obedient animals. That’s hardly the noble species we were told we are.

Judge the Bush by the fruit it bears

If George Bush cared about the troops, he would step down, taking Chaney with him, and allow a competent person to become Commander-in-chief.

If Bush cared about the nation, he would stop bankrupting it, as he did to his two tiny companies in Texas, step down, taking Cheney with him, and allow a competent executive to become president.

If Bush cared about our security, he would step down, taking Cheney with him, and allow someone who can analyze intelligence rather than trust hunches, to take his place.

If Bush cared about fetuses, he would stop robbing them of $7,000 each and stop depriving them of food, shelter, clothing and education once they are born. If he is incapable of altruism, he should step down, taking Cheney with him.

If Bush believes the Constitution gives him dictatorial powers, he should step down, taking Cheney with him, and allow a freedom-loving person to become leader of the “free” world

Bush lacks the intelligence to know how much he doesn't know. He is incapable of recognizing his infinite shortcomings so he won’t step down indicating he does not care about the nation, troops, fetuses, freedom or security. The fruits of his five years in the White House have been lying, spying, dying. That’s supplemented by gross incompetence and massive squandering of the nation’s wealth. The Congress of cattle is too clueless and corrupt to exercise checks and balances on the Executive Branch, so it’s time for the sovereigns, the people, to take action as the Serbs did ousting Milosevic, the Ukrainians did with their Orange Revolution, and the Argentineans did with their clanging pots and pans revolution.

The United States can’t survive three more years as a free, prosperous nation under the gross negligence, irresponsibility and incompetence of this unscrupulous administration. As George Bush delivers his State-of-the-Union address on Jan. 31, thousands of fed up people in cities across the U.S. will create a state of clamor to wake up Americans to the disaster facing further Bush leadership. Like the brave people of Argentina who rallied and marched beating their kitchen utinsels until their inept government resigned, bring your utinsels, whistles, drums or other noise-makers, add to the din and wake up the freedom that has been anesthesized by the Bush Administration.

After living under the brutal reign of King George III, the Founding Fathers were determined to establish a government in which the power of the chief executive was greatly curtailed. They were well aware that excessive power in the hands of an individual or small group corrupts them and ultimately destroys the nation.

The Founding Fathers put the decision-making and spending powers in the hands of a congress. Emphasizing the priority placed on the legislative branch, the Founding Fathers made it the first and longest article in the Constitution. Those safeguards should have prevented the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the suspension of habeas corpus and due process, the senseless, unnecessary loss of U.S. military lives, subversive government spying on Americans and the squandering of our tax dollars. However, a series of timid Congresses allowed the president to usurp much of their power to the point that the executive branch is now the dominant branch of government.

After 225 years, has the U.S. political system advanced only from King George III to aspiring king George IV?

The U.S. possesses immense power, but its leaders lack the morality, mentality and maturity to wield it wisely and lawfully. Twenty-first century weapons are in the hands of first century men.

The world can’t wait for Bush & Cheney to learn to tell the truth.

The world can’t wait for a responsible Congress that will exercise its constitutional duties to enforce checks on the Executive Branch.

The Bush-Chaney administration has brought embarrassment and shame to civilized Americans. This Administration has revealed America’s savage side with its torture, use of WMDs and other banned barbaric weapons, criminal aggression, incarceration of innocent people, imprisonment without charges, racist mass murder, destruction of ancient artifacts and wanton carnage.

The Bush-Cheney administration has made one costly blunder after another. Their blunders sent over 2,200 military personnel to a needless, senseless death. Compare that with 2,106, the number of U.S. citizens killed at the WTC on Sept. 11th. Their blunders have squandered over $2 trillion tax dollars of the American people and their descendents.

George Bush and Dick Cheney, on a hasty hunch, sent thousands of American’s youth off to death and dismemberment. They recklessly sent them to fight where there was no enemy. So they created enemies and gave them the home field advantage. George and Dick’s response was just the opposite when they had a chance to sacrifice their lives and limbs for their country. George went AWOL so fast the dust still has not settled in his path. Dick took the frantic but equally speedy path of draft evasion. Deftly keeping just one step ahead of the draft board, he got married and fathered two children which coincided with the Selective Serivce's family exemption increases.

If George Bush and Dick Cheney cared about this nation and its soldiers, they would do what is best for it. They would step down and allow a competent commander-in-chief, who wouldn't go to war on a hunch, and qualified executive leaders to take their places. The people must step up and do what Congress has failed to do, force them out of office before they do any more harm. To escape its second millennium savage nature, America needs a new revolution like the Orange revolution in the Ukraine’s or an oust-the-despot revolution that toppled Milosovic in Yugoslavia.

The people deserve a civilized, principled government that is not the instrument of injustice, oppression, fiscal extravagance and death. Turn up the pressure on Congress. Join concerned Americans and the World Can’t Wait movement and demand the impeachment of George Bush and Dick Cheney.

Hugh Thompson, true hero

Hugh Thompson’s recent death went practically unnoticed by the mainstream media. The media are preoccupied with the political and corporate scandals and corruption that erupt like volcanoes all too frequently and spew their lethal lava over the landscape poisoning everything for miles around. The corruption, deceit and decay on which this nation functions can be hidden only so long even with the complicity of the media.

Hugh Thompson, one of those extremely rare people who lived by the principles this nation claims to represent, passed in silence. Those who preach but do not practice high standards would rather this decent man not be brought up for comparison to embarrass them and remind them of their hypocrisy, their crimes, their barbarism.

Thompson was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam who spotted a platoon of American soldiers under the command of Lt. William Calley gunning down unarmed, defenseless civilian men, women, children and babies they had herded into a ditch. Thompson landed his helicopter with guns aimed at the soldiers and threatened to open up on them if they did not stop shooting. Thompson exposed the incident over military efforts to silence him. Our government is not opposed to atrocities. It just doesn’t want them exposed, at least when it commits them.

Only one soldier in the platoon, a black man, refused to join in the slaughter. Does that mean only one American in every hundred is a decent, righteous person? My Lai was not an isolated incident. Worse atrocities occurred without any defiant soldiers emerging.

When the Vietnam War carnage was over, the U.S. had slaughtered nearly 3,000,000 Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians. Human beings could not do that. Only animals could do that. To this day, hundreds, mostly children, die every year from contact with the unexploded ordinance spread like leaves all over the former Indochina.

Americans like to contrast their actions with those of Cambodian Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot, who killed over 1,000,000 Cambodians, as an example of a murderous madman who is not as civilized as Americans are. They don’t mention that Americans killed as if they were driven by demons and justified the savage atrocities with an outlandish, baseless rationalization called the “domino theory.” Pol Pot witnessed in Vietnam what bourgeois sociopaths were capable of doing. His actions were intended to cleanse Cambodia of that depraved, sick and twisted type.

The Vietnam War was equivalent to 1,000 Sept. 11 attacks. Only heartless racists could claim Sept. 11 was a significant event in post-WW II atrocity history. During that period, the U.S. military has committed the equivalent of one Sept. 11 per week. Most of those were against small, poorly armed or unarmed nations.

In a nation that is woefully lacking in role models, the media should have jumped at the opportunity to hold up Hugh Thompson as proof that the U.S. can produce a person of high integrity. But that would have emphasized what savages the rest of us are.

The brutal, criminal invasion of Iraq proved that Vietnam was not just a passing moment of madness. Iraq proves that we are a nation of uncivilized thugs and beasts by nature. The U.S. always will be brutes as long as we have the power to do it.

The Fourth Reich

Megalomaniacs have been with us forever. Most believe or convince themselves that they have been chosen by some superhuman being. The main question is why so many people eagerly follow them even when they clearly are madmen or morons like Adolph Hitler or George W. Bush respectively.

Comparative psychologists would argue that it is human nature to gather around a queen or king, particularly in a time of great danger. Ants do this. Bees do this. Ants and bees select a queen and give her attendants to care for her every need. The remaining members of the colonies divide mainly into workers and soldiers. The single goal is to protect and preserve the queen.

The instinct that drives insect colonies, animal herds and bird flocks drives human tribes. Democracy is antithetical to the herding instinct. Any madman or evil genius who recognizes this basic human drive, or as in Bush’s case, has a madman sidekick who figured it out, aspires to reach a totalitarian position.

Dictators exist not because they have managed to intimidate the people but because the people want them. A dictator can’t exist without large segments of the population who are willing to become his soldiers, police and bureaucrats. No dictator has ever had a problem finding an abundance of those willing to become his brutal police thugs.

Herman Goering, one of Adolph Hitler’s top lieutenants, explained the simple formula for turning people into a mindless, stampeding herd. Convince them that there is an external threat, Goering said. It’s very important, he added, to argue that there are internal subversives as well. Thus there is a fear of the external threats and internal enemies. Authoritarians always put a face or faces on the internal threat. Michael Moore and Al Franken are the faces chosen by this administration. Franken represents the deep-seated Christian racism and hatred against Jews. Moore is a frumpy, overweight person who doesn’t fit the ideal image of Ronald Reagan, John Wayne or the Marlboro man.

Since most thinking is done in the vision segment of the brain, images make a deeper and longer lasting impression. The primitive instincts of “identification friend or foe” and “fight or flight” take place in the vision segment of the brain. Images best activate atavistic reactions. No one is more aware of this trait than public relations firms.

George W. Bush, a semi-literate, failed business man, but the best and brightest the GOP has to offer, followed Hitler’s playbook to the letter in his rise to power. The deranged Dick Cheney actually holds the reins of power. Bush is his loony preppy sidekick. He arranged the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. Speaking through the mouth of preppy George, he divided the world into those who are “with us or with the terrorists.” He went on to warn us that there is “an old Europe, and a new Europe.” Old Europe includes those who failed to join Bush in his wars. They can’t be trusted, he implied. The French became the symbol of these subversives.

The difference between Americans and Frenchmen is that the French government fears its people. The U.S. government has no fear of its people. The robber baron Jay Gould once commented that the upper class has no reason to fear the lower class. “I can get one-half to kill the other half,” Gould bragged. The American people are so thoroughly brainwashed that they can be herded together and led into any misadventure no matter how contrary to their own interests the adventure is. The French would go into the streets and shut down the nation if the government attempted to carry out some of the anti-democratic actions the U.S. government gets away with. Frequent wars and a primitive, expensive healthcare system that’s a bureaucratic nightmare are two examples.

Most conflicts are between evil and evil. The winner writes the history portraying itself as moral, and the loser as the immoral party. World War II was an excellent example. It was evil fighting evil fighting evil. The United Kingdom and the U.S. were and are at least as evil as Nazi Germany. Both had committed several genocides. Hitler adopted many experiences from the U.S. The U.S. had a eugenics program from 1890 to 1920 dedicated to purifying the white race. Hitler’s propaganda program was borrowed from U.S. and U.K. programs developed during World War I.

If good wins, it is by default. The British and French empires collapsed when those two nations, weakened by World War II, were no longer able to exert the force necessary to keep colonial people suppressed. Institutionalized racism against black U.S. citizens became an embarrassment to U.S. leaders who hypocritically condemned Nazi racism.

People are wired to be evil as civilization defines the word. The analytical part of the brain that provides the ability to know right from wrong resides in the brain stem. It is activated only by determined effort, use and exercise. In the U.S., no more than eight percent of the people have a functioning analytical center of the brain. The other 92% parrot morals and ethics taught to them by their parents, teachers, churches or government. Those are superficial morals. Superficial citizens can switch to opposite views anytime the circumstances change. They can self-righteously condemn the Nazis for murdering six million Jews while excusing the murder of ten million native Americans by their own government. They can condemn the killing of 3,000 Americans on Sept. 11, 2001 but justify the murder of 150,000 innocent Iraqis by George W. Bush.

The most horrific act ever committed by mankind was the incineration of tens of thousands of innocent men, women, children and babies at Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons. Yet 92% of U.S. citizens lack the ethics to conclude that those brutal acts were wrong, let alone sick and twisted.

The neo-cons who run the U.S. today are the equivalent of the Nazi Brown Shirts of the 1930s. Dick Cheney is a Hitler. Karl Rove and Donald Rumsfeld are Goebles and Eichman. George W. Bush most closely resembles Saddam Hussein whom he claims to detest.

Today’s U.S. leaders want to create the Fourth Reich and rule the world. Except for that small 8% enlightened citizens and their own gross incompetence, they would be close to their goal today. Like all megalomaniacs and sociopaths before them, they are their own worst enemies. What they destroy when they destroy themselves remains to be seen. If the past is a lesson, they will render the U.S. to the ashes of former empires. Then good will be the winner again.

Fundamental difference between liberals & ocnservatives

All liberals think. Therefore, they all have different opinions. It's next to impossible for them to reach consensus and act in concert.

Only one conservative thinks. The rest march in lock step and parrot what the one thinker says no matter how ridiculous the statements are. Conservatives always act in concert. They are incapable of doing otherwise. They are a herd or colony, loyal only to the herd or colony and unable to form affinities to concepts or larger entities. They can hold one opinion one day and the exact opposite the next day.

Bush follows Hitler's playbook

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the
peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works

Adolph Hitler used the 1933 attack on the Reichstag, the seat of German
government, as proof that the German people were under attack. Hitler blamed
the German Communists. Some historians believe Hitler arranged the act of arson
that burned a large part of the building.

In the early1990s, a group known as neo-conservatives began thinking about a New
World Order under U.S. hegemony. Control of the world’s major oil deposits was
key to the plan. To convince the citizens to support the radical program “a new
Pearl Harbor” was needed, the neo-cons reasoned. Another incident like the
Reichstag fire would drive the people into a state of fear that would unite them
into a frightened herd. The compliant herd could be stampeded in any desired
direction.

As luck would have it, there was an attack on the U.S. on September 11, 2001.
The neo-cons immediately began making plans to invade energy-rich nations that
were not already under the control of the U.S. corporations. No Afghanis or Iraqis were
among those who carried out the 9/11attack. Most of the attackers were from
Saudi Arabia.

Hitler invaded several of his neighbors including Austria and Czechoslovakia,
but his primary goal was the oil fields of the Middle East. In 1939, Hitler
invaded Poland.

Before the invasion of Poland, Hitler falsely accused Poland and England of
conspiring to encircle Germany. Before the invasion of Iraq, George Bush
falsely accused Iraq of reconstituting weapons of mass destruction in order to
attack the U.S. Bush painted the absurd picture of a tiny nation of 25 million
people with no air force or navy attacking a huge nation of 180 million people
on the other side of the world. The frightened herd bought the absurd story.

In the Hitler playbook, Bush is at the invasion-of-Poland stage. However,
Hitler was a genius and Bush is a fool. Hitler invaded most of the rest of
Europe then turned to invade the Soviet Union. Bush is bogged down in tiny
Iraq. Both proved that Goering was right. Any group of people can be
frightened into doing anything the madman wants them to do. The jungle animal
instinct always is more powerful than the human intellect.

Compensation for Katrina and Bush victims

The Bush Administration paid an average of $1 milion to each of the families of those killed in the 9/11 tragedy. It paid $1,000 to the families of each innocent Afghani the U.S. military killed.

How much will the Bush Administration pay to the families of victims of Hurricane Katrina?

The Bush Administration's hierarchy of human values can be estimated from the swiftness and intensity of its responses. On that basis, the fetus has greatest value. Tied for second place are stem cells and brain-dead young women. Third would be the upper middle class white people such as those killed on 9/11.

We can assume poor black Americans would be rated higher in value than the Afghanis who are close to Bush's chief enemies. However, the plantation may be gone, but the plantation mentality still lives on in many Americans.

Thanks to Hurricane Katrina, we soon will find out what value Bush places on the least fortunate of our wealthy and generous nation. Since the anniversary of 9/11 is next week, no doubt Bush will be doubly generous.

Conservatives have no affection for their children

Cindy Sheehan is so aggrieved by the senseless loss of her son that she is willing to pursue George Bush, the cause of the grief, relentlessly. She set up camp outside George W. Bush's vacation spot at great inconvenience to herself.

At another site in Crawford, Texas, a father has set up a similar site which he calls a "fort" in contrast to "Camp Casey" where Cindy Sheehan and her supporters have their temporary location. Camp, for those not familiar with the military is the name given to Marine sites. The Army calls its soldiers' military residences forts.

The father says he is proud that his son served in Iraq where he was killed. Conservatives are renoun for their heartlessness toward the misfortunes of others, but usually nature wires all her creatures to care for their young to the point that they often will die to protect them.

Conservative lack of affection for anything but property and profits seems to extend to their own offspring. The Texas father is not affected by the fact that his son died for a fraud, for the plutocrats' plunder, for nothing. Perhaps he finds consolation in the religious belief the he will be rewarded for his sacrifice.

The contrast between the two parents is revealing. It's as if two breeds of humans occupy the earth.

The U.S. stands no chance of becoming civilized as long as the heartless citizens wield so much power and influence on it.

The two human intelligence levels

There are two intelligence levels at which humans can function. The first is the default level. It is the result of millions of years of evolution. It responds instinctively to stimuli. Level one people function best and naturally in small tribes and groups as their animal ancestors did. These people are jingoistic and favor a stratified society with a royal class. They typically are blindly, mindlessly, faithfully obedient to their tribal leaders and priests. On the other hand, if they rebel, they can be independent and brutal and tend to be lawless and unruly. They don’t have a solid foundation of values. They hold others to high standards and themselves to low or no standards. They are attracted to religions and rituals, which artificially satisfy their conscience needs.

The second level consists of those who are enlightened. Advanced reasoning, morals and critical thinking are possible at this level. At the second level, humans are capable of supporting broader societies and universal ideals, principles and values. They are able to rise above their innate animal instincts. They’re capable of judging right and wrong independently. They hold themselves to high standards and others to lower standards. They comprise no more than eight percent of the American population.

Level one humans respond most readily to visual stimuli since thought takes place in the optical cortex at the back of the brain. The location of the thought center is an insight into the priority of thinking in humans. It is the last priority. Automatic reflex action is critical to survival. For instance, the sight of an object hurdling toward a person requires a person to duck or dodge immediately to avoid injury or death. If a person takes time to consciously analyze what to do, it might be too late to avoid harm.

Just as a person reflexively lets go of a hot object long before the conscious mind says the object is too hot, so the visual sense needs to be processed in the subconscious brain before the message is relayed to the conscious segment of the brain.

At level one, a person can hold contradictory views, and deeply believe both equally. Psychologists call this phenomenon “cognitive dissonance.” When Bill Clinton was involved in a questionable $60,000 real estate deal, level one people were morally outraged and went ballistic. When George W. Bush, who they believed to be part of their own tribe, paid over $16 million of their tax dollars to Ahmed Chalabi, a convicted embezzler and international con-man, there wasn’t a peep of protest. The disclosure that misinformation was all Bush got for his large payments also failed to generate any outrage. Rank and file people can imagine $60,000 and probably have a net worth equal to or slightly larger than that amount. It’s difficult for them to imagine $16 million. The larger the amount, the more amorphous it is to a level one mind and the more difficult it is to visualize and therefore comprehend.

Ronald Reagan’s handlers decided to instill in him an image of $1 trillion, the amount of the U.S. national debt in 1980, so that he could attack Jimmy Carter for fiscal irresponsibility. The handlers knew they needed to reduce the debt to an image for Reagan, a level one thinker, to understand it. They calculated that $1 trillion in thousand dollar bills stacked on top of each other would make a 67-mile-high pillar. With this image in mind Reagan went on the attack stating: “President Carter, if you can’t balance the budget, step aside because I can.”

Carter should have asked: “But, will you?” Reagan didn’t. It took 200 years to run up $1 trillion national debt. It took Ronald Reagan one term of “Reaganomics” to run up another $1 trillion in debt. In his second term, Reagan ran the debt up to $3 trillion. Not one complaint came from level one followers of Reagan whose brains are incapable of grasping amounts that large even in the image of three pillars of 67 mile high stacks of $1,000 bills. To his credit, in 1980 George H. W. Bush correctly labeled Reaganomics “Voodoo economics.” However, when Bush became president in 1989, he continued “voodoo economics” and added $1.5 trillion to the national debt.

Jean Rostand observed this level one phenomenon decades ago when he wrote: “Kill a man, you’re a murderer; kill millions, you’re a conqueror; kill everyone, you’re a god.” Level one people can visualize a dead person and see themselves there. They can’t visualize millions of dead people. Joseph Stalin said it more simply: “To kill one person is murder; to kill a million is a mere statistic.”

Every person with normal intelligence is capable of thinking at the second level. However, it’s like learning a language and must be done deliberately and with determination. Like a language, it’s likely that the brain reserves a window of opportunity at which it is most receptive to advanced intellectual development. Like language, the window most likely occurs during adolescence. Recent studies reveal that the closure time is near age 25. Advanced thinking and ethics, as opposed to moral relativism, are closely related.

Religion not only does not implant moral behavior, it more often is the source of immoral behavior. Christianity, the world’s most practiced religion is responsible for more murders than all other religions combined. European Christians killed tens of millions of natives in the American New World alone. World War II was mostly Christians killing Christians. Over 60 million people died in that madness.

The natural animal order strongly resists development of higher intelligence. Nature is conservative and prefers that which has stood the test of time. Higher intelligence is relatively new in the five billion years of our solar system’s existence.

Level one humans have a pack mentality. They are willing to sacrifice themselves for the survival of the herd. That’s why they make good soldiers. They believe in total subordination to the alpha member of the herd. They identify more closely with jingoism, or blind, mindless obedience to tribal leaders, than with patriotic loyalty to high ideals, principles and values.

In the U.S. about 90% of the people are level one thinkers. Consequently, they are not at the mental, moral or maturity level necessary to sustain a democracy. It’s unlikely that Americans ever will reach that level because their religion and economic system, which glorifies greed and selfishness, counter any movement toward the selflessness and altruism necessary for a civilized society. The innate animal behavior dominates any humanitarian inclinations.

Rulers do everything in their power to preserve the bi-level structure. While the rulers are aware of the enlightened and non-enlightened order, they, with few exceptions, belong to the non-enlightened order. The most corrupt of the first strata have the greatest drive to become leaders of the peasants and proles, and they are the most willing to exploit, bully and dupe their fellow humans. The tribal propensities of the peasants allow them to be stampeded into whatever adventures, usually misguided, serves the desires of the rulers.

The “enlightened eight” percent of Americans who have developed the ability to think at level two can’t communicate at that level and get through to level one people any more than someone who speaks and writes only Chinese can communicate with someone who speaks and writes only French. Only when the level one belief system destroys itself, as happened in the economic collapse of the 1920s and 30s, will those people be able to question the flaws and contradictions in their beliefs and be able to advance to level two.

The question remains, can the majority of people be educated into the enlightened level?

Bush's detective talents

Tony Blair’s government took seven days to identify the four suicide bombers who attacked London a couple weeks ago (July, 2005). Years of fighting Irish Republican Army terrorists made the British experts in this kind of conflict.

In comparison, the George Bush Administration identified 19 terrorist attackers in just two days. Bush did this without clues available to the British such as DNA, fingerprints, dental records, missing persons reports and an extensive network of security cameras.

Bush’s extraordinary detective work at the WTC is particularly amazing since he was unable to uncover the person who exposed Valerie Plame as a CIA agent, even though the culprit was sitting at his elbow nearly every day.

Bush still has not identified and captured the perpetrator or perpetrators who carried out anthrax attacks shortly after the 9/11 attacks, which killed several Americans and attempted to kill the Democratic minority leader of the Senate. Could that culprit be sitting at Bush’s other elbow?

After nearly four years, Bush still has not caught Osama bin Laden. Even the $25 million reward to be paid from our tax dollars has not produced bin Laden.

Since Bush obviously is not a Sherlock Holmes, he must have known the names of the 9/11 attackers before 9/11.

Seven-year curse

For the past four years, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. A corrupt, subversive Supreme Court installed George Bush, a semi-literate, bloodthirsty failure, in the White House. A Space Shuttle crashed killing all aboard. A U.S. submarine giving joy rides to Bush campaign contributors rammed a Japanese fishing boat sinking the boat and killing many of the crew. A U.S. spy plane crashed in China.

Bush failed to perform his primary job and permitted, or assisted, attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Anthrax attacks killed and injured several people. Bush has not apprehended the culprit after four years. A Bush insider exposed an undercover CIA agent endangering her co-workers and international contacts. Bush is too incompetent or corrupt to find the person. The economy is gushing debt, deficits and imbalances.

Bush initiated three criminal, unconstitutional wars in Afghanistan, Haiti and Iraq. He slaughtered tens of thousands of innocent people elevating the U.S. to lead mass murderer of the 21st Century.

For Republicans and conservatives to rule and implement their aristocratic agenda, they need an enemy. Communism, their old bugaboo, collapsed so they created terrorism to take its place. People mentally paralyzed with fear don’t think. They react. They go into a stampede mode and can be led anywhere. Their instinct is to obey any leader that promises to protect and save them.

Now in the fifth year of the curse, the U.S. is bogged down in Iraq. It is replaying the Soviet experience in Afghanistan in the 1980s that left that Communist nation too weak to exercise a significant world role. The U.S. will find itself in the same position by 2007.

Natural disasters are taking a toll at home and will get worse in each of the next two years. Last year, a hurricane season equaling the worst on record devastated Florida and surrounding states. A worse season is coming in 2005. Meanwhile, a drought is affecting crops over the rest of the nation.

In 2006, the problems will be worse and new ones such as major earthquakes and volcano eruptions will expand the devastation. It will be twice as bad as the previous year.

The next year will be even worse, the most devastating of all. The U.S. will not survive as a major world power.

Why the curse? The U.S. has a horrible history of brutality and slaughter. It has carried out numerous genocides ranging from 10 million Native Americans to two million Iraqis. It is a cruel, savage nation that practiced slavery long after it was abolished by all European nations. It executes more of its own people than any nation except China. It detests intelligent, altruistic people. It supports leaders with totalitarian tendencies and opposes democracy whenever and wherever it can. It lynched over 5,000 of its own people demonstrating contempt for the rule of law. It is the only nation sick and twisted enough to incinerate tens of thousands of defenseless children and babies with nuclear weapons. It subscribes to the philosophy of MAD (mutually assured destruction) that would exterminate life on earth. Only insane people would deliberately annihilate life as we know it. In 1980 and 1988, the U.S. installed two consecutive presidents in the White House that were willing to eliminate all advanced life forms on earth.

The American god is greed. Americans can never be civilized. Their government is corrupt to the core. The leaders are subversives and traitors whose loyalty can not extend beyond their immediate herd, pack or tribe. They can not be loyal to the nation. They are not patriots. They are jingoists. They have weakened the nation beyond the point where it could recover from unanticipated problems.

U.S. unfit to rebuild Iraq

Arguing that the U.S. is best qualified to piece together broken Iraq is like agruing that bank robbers that just robbed a bank of all of its money should run the bank until it is restored to solvency.

THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: Fourth Estate or Fifth Column?

Edmund Burke is credited with first referring to the media as the “Fourth Estate.” The British government consisted of three estates including the King, the Lords and the Commons. Burke pointed to the editors in the gallery and claimed they were also an estate, a major power broker. He speculated that the media were the most powerful of all the estates.

The term “fifth column” derived from the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. The rebel Fascists, led by Francisco Franco, were marching on Madrid, the Spanish capital. Franco’s forces were divided into four columns, which descended on the city from four directions. Many Fascist sympathizers allegedly resided inside the city and did everything they could to undermine the Spanish Republic. They became known as the “fifth column.”

The Spanish Republic was one of the most free and democratic governments ever to rule a large nation. Alas, freedom and democracy seem to be unnatural to the majority of human beings. Hitler and Mussolini openly supported the Spanish Fascists to the point of supplying arms and flying strafing and bombing missions. Thousands of idealistic Americans went to Spain to fight for the Republic. The U.S. government claimed to be neutral. In reality, its actions indicated it preferred to have the Fascists in power.

What role does the U.S. media play today? Is it a “fourth estate” with high democratic ideals as Burke imagined, or is it a traitorous “fifth column” of subversives undermining the nation’s principles, values and ideals?

The mainstream media often refer to themselves as liberal. In reality, they are owned mostly by conservatives and funded mainly by conservative corporate advertisers, many of whom will withdraw their advertising dollars if they disapprove of programming content. Conservative plus conservative does not add up to liberal.

In the U.S. the media pass themselves off as the fourth estate and as liberal to lull ordinary people into believing that they have a watchdog keeping an eye on the repositories of power. This deception is crucial for a small, undemocratic oligarchy to rule the nation. The media claim that the people are sovereign while secretly helping the oligarchy consolidate its power.

The media follow the rules of propaganda. They repeat lies and deceptions over and over until they are widely believed. They omit critical facts that would change the meaning or impact of an event or action. They never admit that the oligarchy exists. They are the obedient servants of the oligarchy.

The success of the modern ruling oligarchy can be attributed to its ability to remain inconspicuous. Ordinary people don’t suspect its existence. Members of the oligarchy will surface in cases of ominous threats to their power or wealth. Oligarch Richard Mellon Scaife surfaced to combat the Bill Clinton threat. For example, the 1992 election went wrong. George H.W. Bush should have been a shoo-in. Bush’s missteps and a third-party challenge by billionaire maverick H. Ross Perot—not a member of the oligarchy--produced a surprise outcome. Scaife funneled millions of dollars into organizations to neutralize Clinton. The federal courts, by and large obedient servants of the oligarchy, cooperated fully. Clinton, pummeled from all directions, was kept off balance. He was left unable to do any harm to the oligarchy such as pass his healthcare reform program and convert military spending into mass transit upgrades and expansions.

Another oligarch surfaced when George W. Bush lost the 2000 election in spite of extensive election rigging. James Baker intervened with the local governments and the U.S. Supreme Court and got the election turned around.

In both cases, the media covered up or distorted most of the illegal actions allowing the oligarchy to prevail and leaving the people baffled, stupefied and silent.

The oligarchy’s successes at the end of the 20th Century encouraged it to reach for greater power in the 21st Century. The people showed no sign of higher awareness even though they had access to far more information. The primitive instinct to follow a macho man no matter how low his intelligence still was strong. The bearing of a leader is far more important than his brain. George W. Bush has what British Member of Parliament George Galloway termed “A simian swagger.” Bush’s political handler, Karl Rove, noticed Bush’s swagger in the 1980s and reportedly bragged to some Texas friends that he could make that man president of the U.S.

Now, in the 21st Century, the world finds itself facing a nation with weapons capable of destroying that world being led by a man whose brain spent most of its existence cooking on drugs or pickled in alcohol. There are 21st Century weapons in the hands of First Century men.

Manipulating everything is a power-hungry, amoral oligarchy. The oligarchy holds the beliefs held by the kings, Feudal lords and aristocrats who preceded it. Ethically, the oligarchy believes morals are meaningless. Morals are tools to be used to pacify the masses, which, left on there own, would turn the world into lawless disorder and chaos. For their own good, the masses must have laws and morals imposed on them, harshly if necessary. Lying to impose an ethical system not only is not wrong, but it is noble to do, the oligarchs believe.

Those laws and morals don’t apply to members of the oligarchy. When an oligarch is exposed for violating one of the rules, he is given a slap on the wrist. No matter how hideous an atrocity an oligarch commits, he will never suffer the harshest punishment. An oligarch has never been executed in the U.S., the world’s second biggest practitioner of capital punishment after dictatorial China.

The media’s job is to cover up the hypocrisies and contradictions and spin the evidence to be harsh on common people and soft on rich oligarchs. The U.S. mainstream media has mastered the art of deception. It isn’t what it appears to be. What it says usually is untrue. It lies first, and tells the truth only if forced to do so.

Is everyone justified in killing Americans?

U.S. president George V said, ”The law is whatever we [U.S. leaders] say it is.” He reflected the widely-held self-appraisal that Americans are above the law due to their inherent superiority and goodness.

Are Americans as noble as they claim? Until this year, America was one of only five nations that executed its children. It is the only industrialized nation that executes its citizens. It goes to war, on average, every two years. It has more people in its jails than any other nation in the world, including China, which has five times the U.S. population.

The U.S. has committed more acts of genocide than any other nation existing today. Americans began their history by killing over 10 million Native Americans, often using the most cruel killing methods known. They killed defenseless women and children with the enthusiasm of unscrupulous savages. They were the last nation of European origin to abolish slavery, and then only after killing 600,000 in a bloody fratricidal war.

The U.S. began the 20th Century with the genocide of over one million Filipinos. It ended the century with the genocide of nearly two million Iraqis. In between those mass murders, it orchestrated the deaths of 500,000 Filipinos after the Second World War, over one million Koreans during the Korean War and two million Vietnamese, 500,000 Cambodians and at least 100,000 Laotians during the Vietnam War.

When the objective history of the 20th Century is written, Germany, Japan, Great Britain and the U.S. will vie for the title of most primitive, diabolical nation of the century. The 20th Century was the bloodiest in human history. The number of people murdered in wars equaled the total population of the world the year Jesus was born. Those who called themselves Christians did most of the killing. The problem was that technology outstripped human evolution. Twentieth Century weapons were in the hands of first century humans.

One of the four nations stands out as uniquely diabolical. It was the only nation in history sick and twisted enough to incinerate tens of thousands of defenseless men, women, children and babies with nuclear weapons. It should win the title of most gruesome nation of that wicked century.

As the most powerful nation in the world, the U.S. can’t be justly punished for its atrocities. The U.S. exploits that immunity and acts with impunity. It holds others to very high standards and itself to low or, more often, no standards. It acts as the world’s bully and the earth’s Mafia and takes whatever it wants.

Ninety-two percent of U.S. citizens can’t distinguish right from wrong. They function at an animal level, not at a civilized human level. They are at a three-year-old mental, moral and maturity level. They are like insects avariciously devouring the life-giving produce of the world’s vegetable garden. They are the main obstacle to civilization.

Using U.S. standards, everyone is justified in taking preemptive action to exterminate these lawless, ravenous, uncontrollable, immoral insects. They are the scourge of the earth. They elect leaders such as the current semi-literate George VI who advocate “mutually assured destruction,” who gladly would eliminate life on earth rather than yield on any issue.
